A stay at Honey Run is a quiet retreat back to nature. The grounds are beautiful, and feeding the sheep was pure delight! Also loved the resident cat, Oscar, who couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant was 5 stars! We'll definitely be returning.

We loved our stay at Honey Run! It was such a peaceful experience. There was so much to do between the walking trails, feeding the sheep, Tarragon, and visiting the nearby Amish spots. We felt entirely relaxed and can’t wait to come back!

This is a quiet place nestled in the woods. They have their own hiking trails and there is a bird feeder outside every window. The dining room serves gourmet food. It is not a place for kids. It felt to me like a retreat. But it is only a few minutes drive to shopping and other attractions. I left feeling refreshed.

It was nice . Our main complaint is that every where we walked to on the property the chairs and benches were very soiled with grime and bird doo. The outdoor chairs by the front were really dirty. It was disappointing to not be able to sit outside and enjoy the space.

The Inn is private, secluded and beautiful. The place is sparkling clean. The bed and linens are comfortable and like Goldilocks would say, "just right". However, when we checked in, the room was not what we reserved. There was to be a microwave and refrigerator, and a K-cup coffeemaker with organic free trade coffee pods. Our room was lacking these amenities. We had to ask for toilet paper as there was none in our room. The desk staff said the third party booking site made the room downgrade, yet we were charged the higher price, and it us up to us to ask for a refund. The desk staff were very apologetic, and took our refrigerated items to the kitchen refrigerator. We have not checked out as yet, so hopefully there may be an adjustment on our bill?

We stayed for a unique stay. If your looking for the same i would recommend staying in the Honeycomb rooms. The others (where we stayed) were your typical hotel rooms a touch smaller. There was a slight musty smell throughout but overall the property was quite clean. Nice entrance with gas lighting ambience into the main hotel and restaurant. Wasnt quite as unique as we thought it would have been so stay in the Honeycombs.

My husband said the breakfast was excellent and I second that motion our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I definitely recommend staying at this resort. I wish we would have taken more photos.

Please note that the description of the Superior Room on hotels.com is incorrect. It promises "over-sized corner windows to make you feel as if you are fully immersed in nature". However our room did not have a corner window, just one of their regular windows. The room also felt a bit dated, slightly old carpet, dinged furniture, bathroom fixtures from the 80s. The ground are nice though, as well as the restaurant. I booked a stay at the Inn at Honey Run for a romantic weekend getaway, the first time my wife and I could be away from our kids in a half year. I upgraded to the superior room because the description

Beautiful property surrounded by lovely forest. Rooms were a bit dark and could do with new carpet, wall paint color and pictures to make it brighter. We had dinner there 2 nights and that was excellent and would highly recommend.

The room (superior room in main building) was so much larger than expected. The windows had a stunning view from any angle. The bed was actually really comfortable and the room was very quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was super helpful with questions and check in and out was a breeze. The sheep were so unexpectedly fun. And the trails were relaxing. Can’t wait to return!

Pretty upset that Expedia would show the ‘honeycomb rooms and the loft rooms and the separate cabins but the only rooms you can reserve thru Expedia are the rooms in the main building which are dated hotel rooms- nice one, Expedia!

First off I had no idea where to check into. We eventually found it. Check in, the girl said they had 1 more reservation for the night at 8:45pm. We then had to drive to find something open. We cam back to our room. It was dark, only 3 lamps. If they say the room is bigger than a hotel room. So i thought it would be more light. Once we turned down for the night. The air was blowing right on our faces. So needless to say, I woke up sick. I have an autoimmune disease. We decided to leave early and go back home. Which means we are out money. When I checked out early they didnt even ask me why. Im sire they were happy they received their money. There was also someone in front of me. Checking out early. I was so excited to get away for a day and rcelebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. It did the total opposite. Hopefully I can recover some of my money?

I love the quiet atmosphere. I love the comfy bed. I love the friendliness of the staff. The food was as excellent this year as it was last year! One thing we can count on is great food at The Tarragon! We spoke to the chef and told him so! He's one of the reasons we plan to make an annual trip to Inn At Honey Run!

We arrived late (9pm or so) and found that I had booked the next weekend instead of the weekend we arrived. The desk clerk was very helpful in getting us straightened out and getting us a room at Honey Run!

Liked the walkable art museum up the trails. Evening dinner was great. Halibut really good. Was told in evening that we did not have to make a reservation for breakfast, but found out next morning that they could not accommodate our breakfast. Seemed like they were short-staffed.

Just soso. Visited 13 years ago and has gone downhill. Seems dated. Food is overly expensive and we were not allowed to eat dinner there even with room reservations. Clerk was blah..did not seem welcoming

We were very disappointed in our stay for the price we paid. Outside was very nice. Pretty. The room was bare. Obviously missing furniture. Rm 102. Employees were unfriendly. No amenities. Couldn’t even get in restaurant for dinner.

We loved our stay, however were a bit disappointed with the restaurant. Apparently the chef and one waitress were working. As a result the number of diners was limited. Additionally, I thought that while the food was good, it was overpriced.

I liked how quiet and secluded the property is. The area is picturesque. Front desk was friendly. The sheep and the hiking trails were nice. The room was a bit lacking, not much different than a standard hotel room. I expected there would be more things to do in the hotel. I had an image of it being more of a destination. I would really have liked to get one of the honeycomb rooms, but they were all sold out. Also, we weren't even able to have dinner there. You have to make reservations - and I feel like reservations should come with the room. Or at least give you the option when booking.
