The suite was nice but is in need of some repairs. The pool was not clean and to cold to go swimming. The stairs were carpeted and in need of a good cleaning.

For what I paid, I should have been told the property is under construction. My driver who had been on the road for 12 hours needed sleep and breakfast in the morning before he headed out for another 12 hour day. The hotel is under massive construction. No breakfast for the morning. The hotel is noisy, and a disaster area.

I could not stay at this hotel. I checked in and they told me the pool was closed the gym was closed and there was no food there currently due to renovations currently being done. If they would have had this on the website I would not have booked this hotel. I booked this hotel so my Grandson could swim in the pool and my Son could go to the gym and it had food. Since it had none of the options I stayed about 30 minutes and then left. This hotel might be alright otherwise I will not know.

We will not return. The hotel wasn't very clean and services provided are so basic. If you need new towels you have to walk the old dirty ones down to the lobby to exchange them at the front desk. The bedding on the sofa bed was filthy. My kids did not want to sleep on it. The elevator smells like marijuana during much of our 3 day, 2 night stay.

It was under construction which is fine and they sent a message ahead of time. I got an older room and the smell was bad like wet towel or mold. We didn’t complain because we just finished driving for 16 hours and we just wanted to shower and sleep. Left early the next morning

Time to start replacing (mattresses and faulty shower heads) and/or giving this place a deep clean. The lounge chair in my room was covered with stains, and when I moved it to retrieve a dropped earring, found layers of debris (coins, food scraps..) and dirt underneath. It had obviously been a while since anyone had bothered to move the chair and clean under it. The coffee pot had a previously used coffee packet still in the filter compartment and was covered in a layer of dust. Not a pleasant stay. Glad I brought my own pillow at least.

Very thankful for recliner in living room area. Cannot lay flat due to serious back problems. Very difficult to find accommodations with a recliner available. Room was nicely cleaned. Nice large bathroom. First time using this hotel brand. Will do so again.

My experience at checkin was underwhelming—like I was a bother. Then I found my room had a disgusting odor. I explained, as I headed to my car for some deodorizer, about the odor. No assistance was offered. I did ask the desk attendant to share the issue with someone who could address it. As I departed the next morning, no one was aware of the issue. Positives, big room and comfy bedding. Drawback: no breakfast provided because it’s intended for long-term stays and the rooms have mini kitchens.

absolutely terrible. went up to have a weekend getaway with 2 friends of mine. the person over 21 needed for check in backed out. i called the hotel and requested a refund. they refused. i asked if they could help us out just this once. they refused. i explained we live hours away and have nowhere to stay for the 2 nights and everyone we spoke to acted like they didn’t care if we slept on the streets. about terrible service.

I chose Candlewood based on recent traveler reviews. It is a busy hotel as the parking lot was full both days I stayed. The hotel is cleanly in appearance and smell. Only 2 things could have made my stay better. 1)The 2nd day of my stay my keys stopped working. I had to have them reprogrammed at the front desk. The staff was friendly, but seemed to remain behind a partition at the front desk area rather than at the desk so when you needed something it felt like you were bothering them. 2) My room was great - clean, spacious - but it was located directly above the smoking pavillion that people seemed to make good use of. The weather was in the 60's and I thought I'd enjoy some fresh air (the hotel windows open) but couldn't as smoke filled the room from the people below. Nothing hotel can really do about that, I will simply know to ask for a room on the other side next time. I do recommend staying here. It has a great location close to the highway and plenty of places nearby to grab a bite to eat.

We have visited Mooresville several times. We have stayed at other hotels and we’re not happy. Candlewood is a great property with newly remodeled rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although there is construction on certain floors, the remainder of the hotel is clean and easily accessible. We’ve had an excellent days and plan to stay many more times.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We wanted a recommendation for dinner. And on her our typed up a list of local restaurants.Was very nice and helpful. Also the one she recommended Eddie was delicious and worth the short drive.

There is construction @the hotel. They sent an email notification after the reservation was made. The hotel does not offer breakfast. The microwave in the room did not work. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a disappointing stay.

A quick overnight stop. Check in was quick and easy. Snack pantry is open 24/7 and was well stocked with snacks,drinks etc. Very quiet location even being between floors. Great for longer stays with full kitchen including all things needed for cooking.
