A beautiful stay at HdV. The staff were friendly and attentive - everyone you saw in the morning said hello and seemed happy working there. Facilities were immaculate. While the room had a fault with the air con (due to recent overuse in the heatwave) the staff immediately produced two fans to help as best they could and it made all the difference. The breakfast offering was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is lovely, but the room was small and did not feel superior at all. There was little or no space around the bed which made it feel cramped. We had an upgrade to the superior room, but if we had paid for it, I would have been upset. We stayed the previous night at the Clifton Village hotel and the comparison probably didn’t help. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite. I would stay again.

first time to Exeter. My wife and I stayed for a week at the hotel Du Vin . Stunningly, beautiful hotel,. Fantastic location near the Cathedral. Unfortunately we were so busy, we did not have a chance to fully enjoy the pool and the spa. I would highly recommend the hotel.Particularly for those who are looking for a hotel that’s quiet at night. A special thank you to Will at the front desk. And Ben for making sure everything was great. Andy & Rhonda McVarish
