Dug the spot especially a great dinner at Silk Road!

We stayed at this lovely guest house for mardi gras with a couple families. The location is fantastic and the restaurant downstairs is great. This is not a modern or updated hotel--it's best suited for those who are wanting a classic Marigny experience in a historic building.

Had a blast

The balcony house and adjacent properties are all part of what was a bed and breakfast! It’s the layout of a house with multiple rooms and each room has its own door code. You can all stay together and be separated as well. The main balcony house sleeps 16. We added a few rooms next door and it wasn’t horrible by any means having them come over to the main house. We loved our stay, the property manager was super nice and always available. We had one toilet issue out of 17 girls and it was fixed right away. There is a restaurant below that is so close for food and drinks. Everything is pretty much in walking distance. We walked to no 1 cemetery and back; all down bourbon street; Jackson square; the french market; and Frenchmen street is the closest to the property. There is also a cute small coffee shop 1 block down on the corner that we went to every morning. It was one of our best stays in NOLA. Highly recommended!!

Cool decor, good location, and overall nice stay. Kit was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. The only thing that was somewhat annoying was that the property was listed as a bed and breakfast. We found out a later, after it was too late to cancel, that they discontinued breakfast because of covid. Not a huge deal, but the VRBO listing should have been updated to reflect this. We had 8 people stay for 3 days so the additional cost was not insignificant.
