Americana Motor Inn on Boardwalk

Right on the boardwalk. Convenient stores nearby. I have a Tacoma and parking was kind of tight, recommend a small car if parking.

Very comfortable stay; didnt like that there wasnt a pool.

The room was very clean. Was impressed. Only complaint was parking. Parking was awful! The employees were very helpful with the parking situation. The only reason i would not stay there again was due to their terrible parking.

Decent place for the price. No pool here. but Ocean is right out the front just a block or so away! Good italian resturant which serves breakfast is just in front on boardwalk! Try them out. Rooms clean and good side views of Ocean

Hotel was nice but parking was horrendous

Pro: right on the boardwalk. We had room 406 (2 beds, balcony, partial ocean view). Fairly clean. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Con: you pay for the location, surely. Parking is a nightmare. Inner spaces are for "compact cars" yet trucks and large suvs parked there. Staff does nothing to correct it. Parking is limited so if it's full, you have to park across the street, crossing over baltimore ave. Which is a pain. Esp when youre paying for the location. Tip: bring a smaller car if you can. Overall, room was decent and balcony was great. Parking was my own major issue.

Parking lot (if that's what you want to call it) is very slim and narrow.

Everything was great except parking was tight and limited. Overall our favorite place to stay.

Don not confuse this with the Americana hotel. The building colors are similar as are the names. This motel does not have a pool and is uber expensive. The building is dated and the room felt less than clean. Just an icky feeling. The beds felt damp and very uncomfortable. Parking is a nightmare and you may find yourself paying to park on the street. I will never forget this property and not for good reasons.

Clean room and friendly staff.

Gave the hotel a second chance. Hand rails on stairs were rusted off and just laying in stair well. Had to call twice for clean towels.there was dust on tv, bunk bed frame and on bathroom hair dryer. Also when they installed coat rack, drywall was on floor chair and table.

Beautiful view but the door lock to the sliding door balcony AND the lock to the room were both broke. The sliding door lock kept falling off when we would lock/unlock it. The main door, we had to pull the handle up and mess with it a certain wait to be able to latch & lock it. The room was spacious but very outdated and unclean. The bathroom had hair in the sink as if it wasn’t cleaned prior & it has a muggy smell. With all that said, our ocean view was gorgeous! They just need to maintain the property better.

The property itself is a bit dated but was more than what we need. Was very surprised to find bunk beds and a whirlpool tub in the room. The beds were a bit firm for my liking (I usually sleep on a gel mattress ) but my husband found it perfect. The room was spotless! The staff was super friendly, and we will definitely consider this hotel. Bang for buck in early September was 10/10.

Parking was nonexistent (after being listed as a perk of the location). Bedding was stained all over, the top of blankets and sheets.

Despite the negatives, the positives rule the day and I would stay here again. Very old building but the room was clean and comfortable. Room 204 has a very good side view of the boardwalk, beach, and ocean. Room 204 is literally steps from the boardwalk. Surprised to see soaps and shampoos at this level of hotel and rate. Front desk, 2 interactions, both extremely pleasant and helpful. On the outside, a lot of cement is tore up, people tend to use the under-building parking area near the boardwalk as a urinal with no methods visible to thwart such behavior. Stairways are filthy. No prominent signage to point you to your room, but it's a short distance. Parking spots are TIGHT! Be careful.

I needed a very last minute room for two nights for my girls and I. Once we got to the hotel we could not find parking anywhere; there were maybe 15 total spots under the building. No big deal, I went inside to check in. I checked in, and was given a parking pass and room keys. No instructions. I asked where I could park the worker said under the building. I told her there were no parking spots- she told me to drive across the street and park under their building there. I went over there and there were also no spots there and very limited parking, maybe 4 spots. I ended up parking at another hotel and walking over. Once we got into the room, it was awful. Dark, dingy. Room 305- should definitely be out of commission. There is MOLD on the ceiling throughout the room, the sheets were dirty, like with actual brown substances on them. The bathroom was extremely filthy. I went to the front desk asked for a different room. They didn’t have any. I asked if I could do a refund and so I could stay elsewhere. They couldn’t do refunds without a manager and no one would be in until my stay was over. I spent $666, which should have been a clue for two nights in pure hell with my kids. NEVER ever again. Do better.

The property is in a good place. It desperately needs updating. It’s like someone put lipstick on a pig. There were many moldy places inside the room especially on the ceiling. It seems the entire area is older, but there needs to be some major renovations to make this more comfortable and clean feeling.

Convenient location, but I wouldn’t stay there again. Immediately upon entering the bathroom in our room I could smell a horrible mildew funk. It was the shower curtain which I could tell they do not wash between guests. I kept the bathroom fan running our entire stay because the odor was so bad. The bathtub was also visibly dirty.

Personnel was really nice. However, rooms are in need of some renovation. The bedsheets were not clean and out of four pillows, three were yellowed (on both beds).

Stayed in ocean view room. The size of the room was very spacious and much bigger than we anticipated. The jacuzzi tub was nice to relax in since the weather didn't cooperate. The room was very clean. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Americana staff!

This hotel was great! Our room had a large balcony overlooking the beach and boardwalk (and daily kite displays). The hotel is right in the middle of the boardwalk, with plenty of food, shopping, and entertainment options in both directions. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the towels were soft and fresh. The best part was that you could really control the temperature of the room using the in-room air-conditioning unit.

Great location and room amenities. Very loud complex, don’t go during first 2 weeks of June, high school senior week. When I asked staff what the quiet hours were, I was told that there aren’t any due to senior week. Not great for us. 2:30 am screaming matches and loud music. No daily housekeeping. Got towels once, had to get our own otherwise. Extremely uncomfortable beds. Great air conditioner. Bad water pressure.

Perfect location. Staff very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, tv did not work, 2 1/2 to 3 hours later still no maintenance. Ended up fixing it ourselves. Also, hair dryer did not work. They gave us another one. Main issue was the WiFi. Did not work well at all even changing with router didnt help. Room was dated, but very clean, beds were comfortable. View from the balcony was great. Ocean and Bay views. Definitely would stay there again.

Friendly front desk staff. The room was clean. The beds were so so as far as comfort and they were very squeaky. Excellent location on the boardwalk so we had to do very little driving. Wi-fi in our room on the second floor hardly worked. You would get a connection for a couple of seconds but then it would drop. I would definitely stay there again.

When we checked in we had a new employee in training, we arrived at 530AM, and asked if we could have a late checkout. The gentleman proceeded to tell us yes and gave us until 1PM. The next day staff called us at 11am and asked what time we were leaving, mind you we stopped and needed the rest from being on the road coming all the way from Atlanta, passing through Ocean City only stopping for some much needed rest before hitting the road again to end our destination. Needless to say the staff could not do anything for us and we were forced to checkout. It was not a pleasant experience at all!

Staff was nice. The parking was a little rough with a oversize pick up truck and 2 bikes in the back however they found us a stop right outside the lobby and our vehicle was on the surveillance camera all night and day.. We asked for extrs towels and stuff they were given right away tobus.

The desk attendants were fantastic! Location is great - right on the boardwalk at the beach access! Rooms were clean and comfortable!

Nice spot with pretty good pool. Private balcony’s view pool. Great deli, pizza sub shop and liquor store directly across the street all open late. Easy walk to nice part of beach. Friendly staff.

I was impressed; outside may not look as wonderful, but once you walk into the Family suite, it was Amazing... the view of the Ocean was beautiful, and our balcony was overlooking the Boardwalk and above the Italian restaurant. the room had a bunkbed and 2 full beds and that room could fit about 8 ppl, it did have a jacuzzi which was really relaxing and the fact that you could just walk downstairs and be at the beach in 1min was great! It really was perfect for a family getaway spot.... looking forward to visiting again..... & the Pizza smell will def have u down there about 4 times over the weekend.

Great room and amenities. Got the Ocean View room this time and it was worth every penny. The Hotel is right on the Boardwalk with a restaurant underneath. The only negative is the parking. The parking is not conducive for large vehicles although they make it work. I will stay there again anyway.

The property was very convenient to the boardwalk where there were many nearby dining options. Loved the room layout, and particularly having a nice efficiency kitchen area, including a bar sink and decent sized refrigerator.
