Rooms were very nice. TV difficult to figure out; our 3 rooms each had a TV that functioned differently and desk clerk could tell us nothing about them. Once I figured it out how to get channels, I discovered that the channel selection was less than I am accustomed to in hotels. Major network channels were available but little else. No ESPN or other sports channels, for example. The only automatic doors are at the front of the hotel, and the majority of parking is in the back. Not only were the doors in the back not automatic but the 2 doors were at 90 degrees to each other. To use cart to bring in possessions, guests need to decide whether to leave their car under the porch in the front while taking their possessions to their room, leave their possessions in the lobby while parking their car or bringing in items in stages through 2 non-automatic doors. We were fortunate that we got 3 rooms on the first floor without having a pet. Only 7 rooms are on the first floor and they are generally reserved for pet owners. We had requested first floor because one member of our party uses a walker. Breakfast was nice. Laundry room and fitness center are available. Bike in fitness room did not work. Seat would not lock in place and display did not light up to allow selection of workout program. I would stay there again.

Two out three desk staff members were friendly and helpful. The sink was missing the plug/plunger…evidently why the sink drained so slowly, filling up as one washed up. The room was clean. The closet door banged into the entry door’s pneumatic closer if you opened the door more than half way. The air conditioner seemed to work although the bath towel was damp after hanging for 24 hrs. Ended up using a fresh towel each morning.

My stay was terrible, the bed was terrible, had a 4 inch drop in middle of bed, had ants, towel rack fell off wall when I took towel off. There was a terrible smell throughout the building, they must have known cause they had door open to stair well, it is pet friendly and it smells that way.. like wet dirty dog. Pool wasn't in good condition, water was cloudy, didn't feel comfortable using it. Gym was ok, had cables so I could do enough. Breakfast was ok. For the price it's not worth it. Go for a cheaper option.

Overall good amenities and convenient handicapped parking right in front. Friendly staff. TV guide not user friendly at all and cannot see any programming info, but so be it with your cable service. The toilet seat would not stay up (not handy for guys) and staff said maintenance would repair right away, but that did not happen. There was mold in the in-room coffee pot. I had to go to front desk to get a replacement. The lift mechanism on the bathroom sink did not work at all. All in all, poor housekeeping quality control. The large-screen TV on Saturday evening changed to Apple Airplay and I could not do anything about it. Front desk had no idea of a fix either. Finally I unplugged the TV and that helped, but it happened three more times. Front desk said it was "teenagers and their I-phones." Not real handy for paying customers. More quality control missing. I had stayed at this facility several years ago, and the breakfast quality has gone downhill, but still not bad. Generally good choices and hot items were hot, so that was a plus. What is going on at this facility mirrors the lack of quality control and and management oversight present today in most all businesses. Times have changed, and not for the better.

While there was a comfortable bed and decent pool, floors were filthy thru out, didn’t want to touch anything in the elevator, the luggage carts were horrible and our tub drain was super slow. It needs a major deep clean top to bottom!!

I recently stayed at your hotel from July 9th through July 12th, and I wanted to share my experience, as it was far below my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor and appeared outdated. Upon entering my room, I was extremely disappointed to find the bathroom in poor condition—there was visible hair everywhere, the tub was filthy, and mold was present on the shower curtain. I immediately requested a room change, but I was told no other rooms were available due to high occupancy. Instead, someone was sent to clean the room, which was not a sufficient solution for the condition it was in. Additionally, the environment was loud, and the smell of marijuana was overwhelming throughout the hotel. Although staff attempted to address it, the odor quickly returned. Overall, I did not have a good experience during my stay. The condition of the hotel and lack of cleanliness were unacceptable, especially considering the rate I paid. The hotel lobby, halls and elevator were very dirty. I couldn’t take off my shoes in the room due to some sticky substance on the floor. Nothing worked. The refrigerator was out, the tub/shower barely worked, the alarm cloak had the battery hanging out and wouldn’t function properly. I could go on and on but the room hasn’t been updated in ages! Including the sheets and towels, from Rio’s and tears in the bedding to nasty stains on almost every towel. The walls were paper thin and you could hear kids screaming down the halls. Then I was woken up by someone banging on my door at 3am! The door to the room barely stayed closed and you had to slam it then shake until it would close properly so I felt unsafe the entire time!! I’ll never stay there again!

The facility was nice. It could be a little cleaner in the common areas, but overall it was great. The housekeeping staff were very kind and made sure to keep our garbage emptied and towels stocked for our stay. All of the staff that we interacted with were very kind and personable. The suite we stayed in was stuffy in the living room as there is no air conditioner or mini split to help with the heat and stuffiness. I would suggest looking into this as we had to keep the bedroom air conditioner set very low to keep the living room comfortable.

The staff was more than excellent helping us arrange nights as our father was in hospital with surgery complications. We live 3 hours away and are not sure how many days we will be here. But they help with this to take another worry off our minds.

Checkin took way too long. I complained several days later to he general manager and she told me the guy who checked me in "no longer is here." That was appropriate news. Blow dryer in room did not work and the coffee pot still had water in it--lack of attention by housekeeping. Housekeeping stopped by one morning and I told them we would be gone in 30 minutes and got a reply that someone would be back.Never happened. Breakfast is so-so, but what can one expect for "free."

When I entered the property, a rather large gentleman greeted me at the desk (Hurley or Harley?). I told him I made two reservations through hotels.com, to which he responded that “I hate third party sites”. He then was “only able to find one reservation”. We went back and forth between Hotels.com and him. So I booked another on hotels.com. He was unable to find that either… (all three of these were using room vouchers). So I then paid full price for a room at the desk. It was 5:00 am, and I just wanted to sleep. I found out today (three days later) that they denied the refund back to hotels.com, so I ended up paying for four rooms, despite only using two… As someone who travels for a living (100+ days per year in hotels), I will NEVER book with best western again. EVER. (This is the 2nd one that screwed me over , other was in Selma, TX)

Had a group of 17 stay here for a church convention being held downtown. Was not a bad drive in over the 5 days we were there. Suites are very large. Pool is a little small but good for the group that was there. Breakfast was ok. I don't think they have a fryer so everything is baked, but there was a nice variety. The front desk staff were all excellent and friendly. I recommend this location to all.

We're in town for a wedding facility was in a great location for us and not to far from downtown. I'm happy to share that staff was wonderful to us. I just wished it wasn't that hot in the swimming pool room.

Hotel was clean and safe! People were polite and friendly. Far enough from main road that it was not to noisy, but close enough to be convenient. Would have got 4 stars but the bed was uncomfortable and coffee needs improvement!

Your individuals responsible for breakfast are topnotch. I travel often and they are VERY RESPECTFUL and take their job seriously to keep things restocked and clean when people are not concerned. I have only been here 1 time this year but last year i saw alot and they acted as owners. I respect that. If im in ky, i come here and recognize things as i reorganize teams; only sharing so you understand the respect of workers.

Front desk staff were super amazing! As renovations are being done there was a bit of clutter but nothing crazy. The breakfast was however rather disappointing - cold potatoes, warm orange juice. The eggs were inedibly over cooked.

Stayed a single night for a local bowling tournament that occurs every year. Picked this hotel over others due to their distance from the ally and having breakfast. Sunday breakfast was labeled as 7a-10a, made our way down before 9 only to find most things already gone due to a baseball team also staying. Managed to get some sort of omelette thing and yogurt and in the 30 mins we took to eat, nothing was refilled. The room was ok but really bummed over not getting the full options of the breakfast.

Breakfast needs an improvement, while there was a nice selection, nothing was HOT(lukewarm at best), and the biscuits and hash browns were hard and inedible, The pancake machine had an out of order sign on it as well.

Great place to spent the night and stay will in Louisville. Rooms were great and the breakfast is great as well. Did not really try the pool but I would say it is great as well. Service is great even though we did not need it while we stayed. Front desk was very accommodating for any problems.

Very outdated hotel without any updates. Back door is completely unlocked so anyone can just walk in. Things are falling apart and doesn’t look like it has ever been updated. We found bugs crawling on our things after the first night so had to cancel the rest of the trip and find somewhere else. Breakfast area didn’t really have ac and every table was dirty so we had to clean our own table before we could eat. Smelled like dirty mop water in breakfast area so we didn’t end up eating there. Front desk was very accommodating but that can’t bring up our rating because of how poorly kept the hotel was.
