The room was warm, comfortable and spacious (we booked a suite) with bath, sofa, desk, changing space and drinks counter. It got a little too warm during the night so best to turn the heating down at night. The spa was great, really relaxing, and I enjoyed a great massage too. The breakfast was unusually extensive and very enjoyable, and the dinner menu was good. The reception staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely book again!

Great location and awesome staff! Half mile from the main HBF (walkable) and close to the AltStadt. Still tucked away from the hustle and bustle though. The staff was great and very attentive when I needed assistance. Highly recommend the restaurant and bar. The staff there go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. Lastly, I had a nice villa room that was well appointed and spacious. I will come back here again for sure!

This is a fabulous boutique hotel!! We felt so fortunate to stay here. The location was perfect just blocks from the walking street to old town. The breakfast buffet was superb and the service especially wonderful. They have a lovely garden (sadly we didn’t get to enjoy as it rained during our visit) and beautiful spa complete with steam room and sauna. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I ever have the good fortune to return to Salzburg.

Off the beaten path a bit, but absolutely lovely property. Garden is a joy.. very nice & hospitable staff. Rooms are a good size, warm & comfortable style. Very quiet. 7-10 walk to old town. Highly recommend.

Breakfast service 1st day morning was poor despite so many staff hiding in back. 2nd morning breakfast service was great - staff out offering guests eggs and coffee - then 3rd morning back to hiding in back. Just offer a coffee machine for guests to use may help. Expected more from breakfast - same everyday lacked smoked salmon, pain au choc or other items included in other hotels in Austria. Housekeeping was varied too - from very good to a rather rushed looking limited tidy up. Stayed in villa room - lacked slippers and bathrobes in room yet available in mini spa in main hotel. Spa area was good. In villa room ensuite with good shower but very limited in terms of products - one hand wash and one shower/shampoo gel - expected more for this standard of hotel. Lovely garden with outdoor seats - very relaxing. Good stay overall but room for improvement - on checking out receptionist tried to charge again for room despite this being prepaid and only city tax due - this was disappointing. Bit more focus on the guest experience required throughout the stay.

Very good hotel, super clean , great breakfast . The staff was very friendly and professional. Just a thing regarding the noise from the street as it is located in the heart of the city, the tram line and cars are right by the hotel so it could an issue for those on the lower levels . I personally would definitely go Back to this hotel .

This hotel is such a lovely place to stay in Salzburg. It is on a quiet street very close to the city center and the Old Town. We were there in December and there are wonderful Christmas markets. This part of the city is very walkable. The hotel staff were excellent, professional and friendly and very helpful. I encourage you to add the breakfast as it is worth the extra euros. The building, while vintage, has been thoroughly updated. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. We loved it here

The hotel was very cool and unique. However, the room was not good for various reasons: 1) there was a somewhat dangerous step or ledge in the middle of the room that one could easily trip over. I had to cover the step /ledge with a yoga mat to remind myself to not trip when walking from the bed to the bathroom. Also the bathroom was extremely narrow. Probably not a good size bathroom for the average size person. Im sure oter rooms at the hotel were probably better and didnt have the dangerous two level floor.

Our toom was in a building a few yards from the main hotel. The rooms in the main hotel are, we were told, bigger and more expensive. Though our room as overlooking a road, it was not noisy but the floor squeaked!

We stayed two nights at this boutique hotel. We had a garden facing room that was spacious and lovely. Everything about this hotel is professionsl while quaint, beautifully designed and comfortable. I would describe it as elegant. Staff are gracious and professional in every way. The hotel is situated in the new town and a 5 minute walk to cafes. 10-15 minute walk to old town through lovely streets. Central train station is an 11 minute walk. Breakfasts are wonderful and the evening dinner also good. We highly recommend this hotel. It is much quieter here than in the throngs of tourists in the old town.

Lovely property in Salzburg. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Particularly at breakfast, they could not do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious, Eggs made to order, and fresh espresso. The hotel is located on a quieter street, but an easy walk to all the activity. This is actually desirable as the main tourist thoroughfare gets very busy. We had a lovely room overlooking a garden, with a small terrace. the room also had a small sitting area. It was a bit of an upgrade, but definitely worth it. Again, lovely hotel, very accommodating staff, five star.
