We chose this hotel as it had a pool. We tried to use the pool, but it looked so dirty we didn’t go in. There were flies in it, and something suspicious floating around on the surface. There were used towels lying around on the floor alongside the pool. We used the hot tub, but the jets barely worked. The room was ok, but looking very tired. There is a construction site next door, which of course is out of this hotel’s control, but is quite noisy. The breakfast was adequate.

There was green algea on the shower and the sink drain and there was old ice bags and big dust balls behind dresser. Honeymoon suite looked out onto garbage bins. Poorly renovated .shower ...control by your knees and cracked stall clearly did not fit in spot. Jacuzzi tub was missing jet caps . Hotel clerk never told me how much was pre authorized on my credit card. Just swiped it. Very rude. Parking is tight. Especially with a truck ...the young girl in charge of breakfast was super!! Very tfriendly!! We liked her .would not stay here again very!

The hotel is very clean. The parking is a bit tight if parking isn't your strong suit. The staff were very polite and made check in easy. The room was very clean. Everything worked. The bathroom sink seemed to be plumbed backwards. Hot when cold was expected. This was not a big deal. The morning breakfast was more than enough. Great place all around.

The hotel uses a strong scented deodorizer in the common areas which was hard on the sinuses. With so many people having sensitivity to scents I would recommend that they stop this practice. We had to leave the window open to air out the room, but the smokers hung out below our window so that was tricky. The bath products were quite nice, cucumber so not too fragrant. Room was clean and linens were nice.

The room had wet water damaged floors, soggy baseboards and smelled of mold. I asked at the front desk for a refund and was told a manager would look into it in the morning, but i got no response the next day and we had to check-out before the manager arrived. the parking lot is tiny and was not easy to park our truck. i definitely wont be staying here again and will be calling to inquire about a refund.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room had a bad door, hair on the sink and bathtub, the paint and furniture was marked up everywhere, no closet to hang clothes, gross stains on carpet, towels that had holes in them, sink was dripping, sketchy parking lot. I would give this place a 1/5. The only good thing about this property was the gal at the front desk. Her name was Dee. Ahe was very nice and personable. This property is a total dive.

While booking the room on Hotels.com there was no information about huge and loud construction going on 30 feet from the hotel building. Parking is incredibly hard and tight and dusty because of construction. Room service and basic maintenance does not exist in that hotel. For example, to get toilet paper and garbage taken out, I needed to call the front desk because no one from cleaning showed up. Stayed there from July 10 - 14, 2024. Construction From 7am to 3 pm building was shaking badly, things were rattling, it was impossible to watch or hear tv, and sleep during the day. Just to add to it toilet was broken and it flushed itself every 6 minutes. For the night we had to shut down the water coming to the toilet. Complained about the toilet issue to the front desk and apparently the manager never showed up to look at the problem. We left message on his phone and we are still waiting for response. The swimming pool is another story even hotter temperatures inside than outside (outside was 38C). At the end of this nightmare got about $90 discount. That’s the high lights of our stay at Days Inn in Kamloops. Good things to mention about was water pressure, beautiful view, A/C unit in the room and the free complimentary breakfast.

At this hotel, “Reserved” does not actually mean reserved. I made a booking through Expedia and was given the option to pay in full or pay when I arrive and I chose to pay upon arrival. I received a confirmation email and booking number. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that there were no rooms available and also that although the hotel could see my Expedia reservation, they did not reserve a room for me as I did not pay in advance. Paying upon arrival should not be an option if it isn’t truly available to customers. I should also mention that they offered to let me book a stay in what I could only describe as someone’s office with a small bed in a room that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or maintained in months. No, thank you. I’ve never had this issue at any hotel before. They even told me that someone else had the same issue yesterday. It’s obvious they don’t care to correct their issues. After a long day of driving from out of province, this experience was unpleasant to say the least. Save yourselves the headache and book elsewhere even if you have to pay a bit more.

I had booked a reservation for my son and his friends and so I had been asked to provide IDs for all the guests as well as mine. I also provided a credit card for the check-in to be processed smoothly. At check-in time, the person at the front desk did not even bother to check that the documentation required was there, along with a note from the manager. He then asked for. 200 dollar deposit to process the check-in. Very disappointing

Booked a honeymoon king suite with hot tub and got a standard room with a bed that looked like a double. Went down and showed my booking information from Expedia and after 15 of the front desk being on the phone looking for answers we were upgraded to what was supposed to be there best suite unfortunately it was just two rooms with a two beds nothing even remotely close to what we had booked. Makes question the hotel and Expedia. Awful experience.

Fine overall but the strange layout of the building and contruction next door make it a bit cramped and industrial feeling and not an escape to the mountains. If cheapest would stay again but would try elsewhere next time for slightly more $.

bathtub and floor in bathroom was so slippery that we had to go and buy a non skid mat to put in it. no toilet paper in breakfast room for two days and the orange juice was colored water and the gentleman sitting beside me was pulling long hairs out of his egg ommelete

At breakfast, it was quiet at that time but no yogurts were available, orange juice machine just had water coming out, fruits trays were empty with few bananas leftovers, pancake machine was not working. The person who was working didn't know how to fix it.

The hotel has a hot breakfast on the third floor. We had mini omelettes and sausages. There were make your own pancakes, cereal and other options. Staff were friendly. Elevator to get you to your room. Only downfall was the small parking lot. Could barely turn around as it was crowded.

This is your classic totally fine hotel by a highway. The checkin staff was super friendly and all our interactions were very smooth. It was clean but because of some strange renos our bathroom had some old mildew - but you can tell it had been scrubbed - just an issue with age. Our room also faced a carwash - so we got some noise from that. BUT for the cost it was a good deal. Breakfast was as expected, really simple stuff - but again - for the cost, totally fine. We will likely stay here again as we travel to/from BC often.

Great Air Conditioning and Shower. Was clean with wonderful bedding and pillows. The room looked underwhelming and had no view. Breakfast was very good. One of the best inclusive breakfasts I’ve had.
