This hotel is very expensive for the quality of the stay, in an old building with no air conditioning, very small rooms and bathrooms, and it's not in a nice area of Paris. The area is loud with sketchy looking people. You also have to pay 15 euros to store your luggage, which was a nuisance when other hotels usually let you leave it for free. There's also one small elevator which can get really busy and you end up waiting in a hotel cramped hallway for 5 minutes to bring your luggage to another floor. I was honestly not impressed.

Very basic, dated decor, cramped room with no sense of luxury. Rude reception staff. Overall very shoddy. Would not recommend.

There is a wonderful elevator in the hotel. The hotel is close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l Est.

Character especially the tiny lift. Everything one needed. TV only in French, bathroom noise all night from plumbing, carpet looked old, left luggage only for a charge - mean.
