Home2 Suites by Hilton Houston Medical Center, TX

Convenient to MD Anderson Hospital with good shuttle service. The restaurant is decent and the staff helpful.

I have stayed in numerous Home2 suites and always loved their quality. Unfortunately this was NOT our experience this time. We were pleased with our view from our room on the 9th floor...it was beautiful and that's where it ended. So starting with our bathroom....we had a half roll of toilet paper. When I asked housekeeping for a roll ...she gave me a roll of paper towels and then 1 roll of paper. I also asked for a garbage bag and she gave me one....I asked for an additional one as we were staying 4 nights and had a pet so cleaning our room was unnecessary.She told me no (even when i explained why) I needed more and I had to call the desk to get more. Housekeeping at this location is extremely rude to guests, takes over the elevators and instructs guests to use the stairs as they need the elevatirs for 30 minutes at a time. That is an issue for guests that have physical limitations (arthritic) The very next day the elevators were down to 1 from 3 and wait times and crowding was crazy. The breakfasts started well until I went by myself several times and servers continued to remove plates off my table that I was not done with the 2nd time I went back from food stations to find someone at my table as they had thrown everything away even after i told the staff not to remove it and I was still sitting there.One evening we decided to try dinner there. It was extremely overpriced for low quality food.My husbands tacos were bad.Staff told us that is how its made.Period! Bad stay!

The room smelled like dog pee and mildew, the housekeeping staff were loud in the hallways, there was literally never anyone at the front desk when I called, there were dogs barking all hours of the day and night in people’s rooms, all but 1 elevator worked, they had these huge drying fans everywhere (hence the mildew smell), the room never got cooler than 75 even though it was set to 68. Would definitely not recommend

I didn’t get the handicap room that I booked and the room I had only had a shower. The bathroom door was also broken. The staff did what they could but the hotel was full.

Everything was amazing. The pool was awesome and we especially enjoyed. The breakfast.
