We enjoyed our stay at Urban Residences a lot. Ting Ting and the other receptionists were always very kind and helpful. Location was great and the studio was very spacious for 2 people. Loved the open views. Having a parking facility in the building is certainly a plus and it's cheaper than other nearby parkings.

L’appartement est grand et confortable. Les rideaux n’étaient pas propres (incluant ceux de la salle de bain) et plusieurs crochets de ceux-ci étaient décrochés. Ça donne un aspect négligé à l’appartement. Il y avait des taches sur le fauteuil. On a apprécié le local à vélo. La salle de lavage serait plus appropriée à l’étage (sans les appâts à souris…)

Dirty studio with no air conditioning - there is 'climate cooling' but it does not work... We had to sleep with the balcony doors open it was so unbearably warm. The towels and bed linen are stained and old. We asked for replacement towels as ours did not seem like they'd been wash at all but they never appeared. No cleaning unless you stay for longer than 3 nights. The 'king' bed is two singles pushed together with a duvet that isn't big enough for the combined bed. They also travel apart from each other during the night resulting in a large gap each morning. There are only two lifts which serve 19 floors (c. 70 apartments). As a result they are very slow and can take a very long time to arrive meaning you need to allow 10 minutes just to get out of the building. The TV is old and does not have any smart features like Netflix or share to screen. Two positives are the location and the view - our room was on the 9th floor. But ultimately I cannot recommend this hotel and I would not stay again. I'm also shocked that this is a Expedia VIP hotel.

This is a very dingy, run down property. While it is a modern building, there is NO air conditioning! I was told the building never had it. This is insane, since the building is a glass box, which even on a mild day, 60F, will be boiling like a greenhouse. Impossible to sleep. Had to keep the windows open with all night street noise.

Check in was a little muddled with room number and floor, but ladies on reception were excellent. Beautiful city views, room was clean and spacious but a bit warm - and remember mosquitoes when leaving balcony door open! Could perhaps do with a third elevator. All in all very pleasing, 4 out of 5 minimum.

Location is excellent. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite; lovely views. Room itself extremely poor, lots of things need fixing. Light in the bathroom not working. Toilet roll holder loose. The water was pouring out of the shower all over the bathroom floor. We used the parking and it was great, spaces a little limited for an apartment complex this big. We damaged our front bumper on the curb outside as the curb was crooked, so be aware of that. We complained about all these issues and Urban Residences had the nerve to refuse to provide any sort of compensation or any gesture of goodwill. I raised these points with the reception staff as well who couldn’t have cared less, which was disappointing. I’ve stayed here many times before, in practically all of their available types of rooms; studio, family studio, large 2 bed, penthouse but I’ll never stay here again cause the way they responded to all my complaints is totally unacceptable.

This is a good property with high end furnishing. My only message to the owners is to keep up with maintaining the property by painting walls and touching things up to match the high quality of the furnishings. Loved having access to laundry room. Staff were Ok, but a bit ambivalent compared to other places I have stayed.

The property was great! We were on the 13th floor with a nice corner room that had floor to ceiling windows for a great view. The apartment was clean with modern furnishings. We had a balcony but I wished it would have some chairs on it so you could enjoy sitting out there. We would definitely stay here again!

Wij zijn een aantal jaar geleden geweest en waren toen erg enthousiast. Maar nu een aantal jaar later is er duidelijk niets aan onderhoud gedaan, het ziet er verpauperd uit, vies meubilair, scheuren in de vloer en vieze muren. Een hoop achterstallig onderhoud.Het ie er te warm en op de balkons ontbreekt een zitje. Doordat er ook mensen wonen of voor langere tijd verblijven en deze zelf koken ruikt het gebouw erg naar eten. Het personeel niet behulpzaam en verveeld. De lokatie is prachtig maar enorm jammer de rest zo achteruit gegaan is.

Das Zimmer ist schön groß gewesen aber das waren auch schon. Leider mangelt es extrem an Sauberkeit Hygiene. Bei allem! Es stinkt im Zimmer extrem nach fett. Haben gelüftet durchgehend aber hat leider nicht geholfen. Sollte im Zimmer Wein bekommen stand bei meiner Buchung bei expedia dabei war auch nicht da.

I can echo the many reviews mentioning the spectacular view and the perfect location in the city. However, I can also echo the many reviews mentioning the filthy condition inside. The apartment (No. 216) definitely needs refurbishing and some proper cleaning, see photos attached (welcome brochure contained half a cigarette, under the beds there was rubbish and dust, the living room lamp was not properly fixed, the shower head in the shower fell off, there was mold in the bathroom etc.). The receptionist(s) tried to be helpful and some items were addressed during our stay. As a little compensation for our complaints, we were not charged the parking fee for two nights. Nevertheless, I am quite disappointed that this apartment was rented out in that condition. Having read through other reviews (after our stay), I would not be surprised if this review will be commented by Urban Residences along the lines "apologies for the inconvenience and we hope you will have a better experience next time" but I would rather suggest they take some serious action instead of apologising for something that needs urgent attention.

- Clarity about deposit prior to booking! - Staff were very friendly and understanding - considering how spacious the rooms are and how nice the kitchens are, the rooms rooms themselves are in serious need of maintenance and repairs. Séjour de 5 nuits. Les appartements sont dans un état de délabrement très avancé: moisissure dans la douche, rideaux sales et déchirés, matelas et oreillers tachés vu l'absence de recouvrements imperméables, tapis inondé de grosses taches, recouvrement en tissu de la base de lit et de la tête de lit inondé de taches également, luminaire de la salle à diner en lambeau, etc. Nous avons demandé l'annulation mais la direction nous a demandé de rester moyennant une compensation. Ce qui a été refusé. Nous avons été pris en otage puisque nous étions sur place et dans l'impossibilité de dénicher un autre endroit où demeurer à la dernière minute. A fuir absolument !!! Les photos de leur site sont énormément trompeuses.

We have previously enjoyed stays at the property and were shocked at how shabby our apartment was. The overall condition of the building was poor and badly in need of repair/decoration/cleaning. The flat was generally in need of a good clean and the balcony so dirty we did not use it. Very disappointed. Will not be back!

Veldig bra beliggenhet på hotellet så det var flott! Men det var flere ting som var litt skittent på hotellrommet, blant annet håndklær, gardiner, gulv og toalett. Men resepsjonisten var veldig hyggelig og veldig hjelpsom!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Issues with room included, while you could open the door once I was shown, the door handle is actually broken. The heating in the room didn't t work properly. The staff said they had a technician look at it but I don't really think it was fixed as the room remained cold. There were water stains and mould in the shower, one of the sliding doors in the kitchen cupboard was hard to push, the sliding table in the bed slide table on the right hand side of the bed is broken. Having said that the apartment appeared to be clean. Some addition cleaning products would be useful such as a broom an dustpan and brush would be a useful addition.

Top Unterkunft, die Lage kann nicht besser sein, raus aus dem Haus und mitten drin. Da ein Zimmer im 15 Stock, ruhig und ein Ausblick, den muss man gesehen haben. Toller Aufenthalt in Rotterdam mit 2 erwachsenen und 2 Kindern.

Urban Residents is a gem in the heart of Rotterdam. Huge apartments with floor to ceiling windows plus balcony. Kitchen was fully functional with top of the line appliances. I will definitely stay at Urban Residents again. Tons of shopping and dining options in walking distance.

I do not know even where to start, did the suggested checkin on line so it’s quicker, that would be a no, not quick at all. We got “upgraded” to an apartment that was so disappointing - cracked floor with duct tape on some spots; shower made a super big puddle on our floor which we reported and a guy came to say he’d be back to chalk it and give us more towels as we used all ours to mop it up and neither happened; room was so hot and the fan available only stayed on for a bit, you’d have to wind it up again several times a night. I would not recommend

Ein cooles Haus in einer absoluten TOP-LAGE. Empfang und Angestellte sehr freundlich. Wir waren in der 9. Etage. Unser Zimmer hat eine Renovierung nötig. Gleichzeitig stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis! Die Fensterfront und die Aussicht waren klasse. Sehr gut aufgeteilte, coole Wohnung. Beim nächsten Mal ab Etage 12 aufwärts.

We had an amazing stay at Urban Residences, the location was prefect with local amenities at our door step. The view was amazing, the studio was large it was everything we needed. The only negative comments I have some of the furniture was a little worn and there was a big crack on the floor.

The apartment was incredibly spacious, modern and with amazing views from the huge windows, that ran the length of both sides of the corner apartment. Everything we needed was provided and we had a very comfortable stay. I'd recommend this property.

appartement magnifique et idéalement situé . Mais le personnel , surtout la jeune fille lors du check in est abjecte . Elle nous a laissé devant la porte sans ouvrir car elle était au téléphone , elle raccroche au nez et on a été bloqué dans l assenceur voiture et ne trouve rien d autre a dire qu'elle était occupé et que nous devions patienter alors que nous etions enfermés . De plus , il faut téléphoner a nos frais pour pouvoir rentrer dans le parking (pas de système automatique )

Stylish, modern and very clean property., well located for the train station and shopping. Polite, friendly staff, however, we reported a fault in our apartment at 11am and they promised to sort it before the evening. Unfortunately upon our return at 6pm they had not even been to inspect it. They were very apologetic and sorted it immediately, which was greatly appreciated.

Behoorlijk duur appartement voor een weekendje Rotterdam. In potentie prachtig. Echter behoorlijk uitgeleefd. Moet nodig overal geschilderd worden. Zowel muren, als kozijnen en vloer. Prachtig uitzicht, heerlijk licht en ruim. Perfecte locatie. Badkamer vol kalk. Voelt allemaal gewoon niet schoon aan. Dames aan de receptie onvriendelijk en afstandelijk. Voelden ons niet echt welkom. Kortom heel veel geld betaald voor een deel van de beleving die niet overeen komt. Zonde

Cosmetically, the plsce looks good. However, the microwave didnt work, the staff could care less, we are fighting for a refund, and expefia was unhelpful. Staff were uninformed about the area and gave incorrect directions

Great location, Apartment was really nice. Would i stay again, probably yes. Only downfall was we had no batteries in our TV remote, asked front desk and was told there are none left and to go and buy some myself, which i found to be poor service. In the end, a cleaning lady helped us out with some spare batteries, but the remote still did not work. Asked front desk if we could switch a remote from another room and was told all the TVs are different, so we had no TV for 2 nights. I felt this was very poor in terms of service

We loved this hotel. Beautiful courtyard entry, restored tram barn was charming, historical. Restaurant for breakfast offered an exceptional buffet and made to order option. All staff were very kind and customer service was fabulous! Beautiful atrium area with natural light and comfortable seating.
