DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I would rather spend a night in jail than this place. Upon arrival I was already alarmed as the neighborhood is terrible… perhaps one of the worst in London, but there is so much more… We arrived and the doors to the hotel were wide open but there was no security or receptionist present (keep in mind it’s a terrible neighborhood so anybody could have access to the “hotel”). From there we waited for 45 mins and no receptionist arrived. All while there was luggage from other customers being stored beside the front desk and nobody was watching it… anybody could have walked in and stole the luggage. Next the hotel was half under construction and no one told us, but this doesn’t even scratch the surface of issues. Next we had NO HOT WATER!!!! To which the hotel manager tried convincing me that it wasn’t a big deal… what a joke! The next option was to have contractors come work in my room the next day to try to fix the issue. Having had watches and cameras stolen from hotels before, there was no way I was going to allow hotel contractors (not even hotel staff) have access to my room and goods while I was out for the day. At this point I asked for a refund so I could just go book another hotel. TO WHICH THEY DENIED AND MADE VERY THREATENED GESTURES. At this point I felt so unsafe that I booked another hotel. But that’s not where it ends…. I requested a receipt or any proof that I was checking out early and they refused to provide any paperwor

Clean, friendly staff and nice attached restaurant. Area walkable restaurants are more middle eastern/asian. Rooms are tight but functional.
