Hotel Arashiyama

Amazing value for the money, located conveniently close to Hankyu Arashiyama station with plenty of dining options nearby. The back patio overlooks the river and it’s a beautiful place to have tea, and also removed from the usual bustle of tourists nearby. The staff were very helpful and kind, and kept our bags after checkout so that we could spend more time exploring. There was also a discount ticket for a nearby public bath that is good value, highly recommend. Hot water is available to make free tea and instant coffee, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Shops and restaurants in Arashiyama tend to close around six, so best to plan accordingly. Already planning another stay!

Very good location. Onsen next to it. Rightly priced. Staff friendly. A must to use their bicycles to tour around Arashiyama. Just one down side not to the hotel but to Arashiyama. At night there is no food

The front desk staff were so kind and helpful! The room was clean and the view was lovely. Definitely a nice place to stay.
