Rooms were particularly small -- barely enough room to lay out a suitcase. Their "high speed" WiFi caps at 1 Mbps, making it virtually unusable for most tasks. Paid extra for the "city view" for a tiny window to be obstructed by the room furnishings. My key frustration is the cost -- I did not an experience this bad given how much they charge.

Reception girls was nice and polite. Even we pay for breakfast on hotels.com when we booked, in reception they said the reservation was done for 1 years old kid instead of 11. That we had to pay for breakfast extra. Even we were charged when we booked, 5G and phones reception in the room didn't work, the nice reception ladies offered to work in lobby, with the child in the room that is not very convenient when you have to work. And wifi with no password its not safe to use at all. Bathroom made out of plastic, so you can hear your neighbors flushing... room was chilly but it was quiet strong heating pump. Carpet in the corridor smells bad Cleaning could be improved. In 5 days stay, we gave 1 chance for room cleaning man, sadly was no point... since he just change the towels.... The view from window its very very disappointing. Nothing like in picture!!! Definitely not worth the money! We ordered pizza from restaurant downstairs, we got it burned. Sadly no such a small details ruined all stay....

In 2023, it's incredible that WIFI doesn't work. I would say crazy. WiFi didn't work the whole 4 days in the room and it worked only close to the reception.

Overall okay, however the hotel room does not have a fridge we had to ask for ice for our medication that needs to be refrigerated. Hotel also does not provide face/hand towels and facial tissue. Rooms are small.

I was pleasantly surprised by ibis London Blackfriars. The location was perfect for South Bank Centre, just 10 minutes walk away. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor offered excellent value for money, although a few more options for the set menus would have been good. The rooms were basic but perfectly adequate for one night’s stay. The air-con and WiFi worked well, and there were USB ports (both A and C types) at the sockets, etc. Unfortunately the TV didn’t work, and there was just one bath towel per person (no face towels).

The rooms had been recently redone very nicely. The bed was very comfortable, the chair comfortable, and the room was well laid out, so there was plenty of room. The room cleaning staff was excellent. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was sumptuous. There was something for everybody. So worthwhile! The location is fantastic, very close to Tate Modern. I was totally pleased with my stay there.

I stayed at this hotel last week, and unfortunately, my experience was quite negative. The cleanliness of the rooms was definitely insufficient; there were stains on the floor, and even the bathrooms were not properly cleaned. The pillows had an unpleasant odor, as if they hadn't been washed for a long time. Additionally, the bed sheets looked unkempt and unhygienic. The overall level of hygiene in the room was seriously disappointing. Despite the hotel's good location, I would never consider staying here again due to these cleanliness issues

Close to many attractions and restaurants. The bathroom was smaller than a cruise ship, and the lights had to be all on or all off at the same time. So, you could not go in the bathroom and turn on the lights without all the lights being illuminated. The mattresses were 3 inch thick foam pads on top of a box spring.

Convenient for the South Bank and walks along the river. Perfectly functional for a night’s stay. And if you like the ‘hospital-chic’ look, then this hotel room style is for you. Bed and shower were good but bathroom is in an odd plasticky booth, decorated with coloured vinyl - reminiscent of a hospital toilet.

Long wait to check in. Very noisy water system. You could hear the water system refilling ever time the next door rooms flushed a toilet or had a shower and it's loud enough to wake you up! Other than that, very close to tube and convenient.

The Ibis chain’s use of podlike bathrooms is the only thing I don’t really like about the property. Because these bathroom pods are inserted into a room, they feel slightly unsteady when you step into them, as if you are in a camper or RV. The raised floor also presents a tripping hazard.

The bathroom floor is about 8 inches higher than the room's floor. In the middle of the night in the dark it is far too easy to forget that you have a step down when you exit the bathroom. I could easily have fallen and won't stay there again. It's a pity because everything else was good.

Very convenient and close to train station. Within walking distance to several attractions and decent restaurants. Except for the young lady that checked us in, staff was very friendly. Specially Emmanuel he was very friendly and helpful. He even came out to show us exactly where to go for transportation. Also at check out the last that helped us out was very friendly and helpful. I don't have her name but she is a "coffee lover". The only thing we didn't like was that the areas it is at was a little sketchy and felt a little unsafe. But overall great location and service.

Everything was fine except the toilet didn’t work when we arrived. After 3 requests and 5 hrs the toilet was fixed. The reception staff told me maintenance had been contacted and they have a ‘list’ and there was nothing else they could do. I would expect maintenance could prioritise repairs, so I hate to think what other problems were on their list!!!

I've stayed in quite a few hotels over the years and the one thing the lets most of them down is breakfast, including other Ibis hotels. This one was great, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs were all cooked just right. Plenty selection of other things too. The downside was that our bedroom had a very small window the opened to a view of a wall about 3feet away. Luckily we didnt book the room for a scenic view

This was perfect for a cheaper hotel. The bed was not comfortable after a couple of nights. Otherwise, the location was great. There's a nice bar and sitting area. They serve food 24 hrs a day.

Close to the Waterloo Station, The Tate, great location. Pretty affordable for a London hotel with a good location. Breakfast buffet was big, with lineups in the morning. Not a fan of their scrambled eggs. I believe they are powdered and rehydrated, with an odd texture

Very interesting hotel. Nothing bad. But an interesting hotel. The room reminds me of a camper. Great location with tons to do near by. I would definitely go back. Only downside is price at the restaurant, drastically higher than other places near by.

The reception staff was OK but seemed preoccupied. The room was OK, location for work was brilliant. Breakfast was OK would have been nice to have a choice of eggs but it was OK. I would have said probably a little dear for the room. The menu was also not that inviting.
