The subway was right beneath the hotel so the rumbles were frequent, and if you’re not okay with stairs then this isn’t for you. I ended up being the third floor with the last room down the hall with no elevator, so dragging up my bags was pretty tiring. The rooms were nice though with a little closet, desk, and comfy bed. The bathroom was small but as I wasn’t hanging out in the hotel that much and it was just me, I didn’t mind. Only downside to the bathroom was I was given used soaps and such, so that made me a little suspicious on the cleanliness. Don’t try to check in early though! Unless you’re paying for early check in, you WILL have to wait until 2pm (they’ll hold your bags though).

The location is incredible—a metro stop just outside, small grocery across the street, cafes just next door, and even an adorable public water fountain just a few buildings down. Luggage hold was complimentary. Breakfast was good, though note that allergens were not listed at the buffet of mostly breads, cold meats, cheese, and fruit. I would absolutely stay here again.

Impossible de dormir, bruits de tremblement de terre très puissants dans toute la chambre toutes les 2 mn à cause du métro jusqu'à plus d'1 heure du matin, bruits intenses permanents de la rue ( passants comme voitures ) comme si aucune fenêtre ( simple vitrage ? ), voisins entendus aux wc à travers le mur comme s'ils étaient dans la même pièce, portes du couloir qui claquent bruyamment. Douche d'un autre temps car robinet branlant, obligé d'attendre une éternité l'eau chaude et à chaque fois qu'on ferme le robinet donc perte d'eau très importante et très difficile à régler, support pommeau détruit. Aucune écologie car réservoir wc totalement vidé à chaque fois. Très peu de lumière sdb. Ascenseur très lent et si petit ne pouvant recevoir que 2 personnes minces sans valises. Accueil mitigé selon la personne. Seul point positif, sa situation géographique. Ne vaut pas sûrement pas 3 étoiles. Hôtel à fuir absolument si vous voulez dormir ou si vous pensez un peu à l'écologie.

This hotel is convenient to metro stations and lines, great restaurants and boulangeries. The staff was friendly and the facilities are clean. They provide luggage storage. The rooms have AC and there is a small elevator if you don't want to take the stairs. For a fee, you can get breakfast in the lobby and there are a variety of options but we didn't partake.

Noisy rooms, elevator dating from 60s, receptionists in the evening not helpful. A part of the hotel doesn't have elevator so one should be careful while booking. Range of breakfast menu is very limited given the price we pay for it. Wash basin got chocked and we shifted to another room and that room's wash basin also got chocked.

STINKING ROOM! This was my worst Hotel experience. So bad, that for the First time in my life, I had to check out early. As soon as we entered the room, we immediately noticed the very strong smell of body odors. The air was very stale and stinky. It smelt like the changing room of a very cheap gym. We immediately opened the window and noticed the reason. There was a scaffolding and a mesh that prevented any airflow (see attached fotos). We reached out to the reception and they didn’t even bother to come to our room and see (smell) the problem for themselves. This means that they either did not care or that they knew the problem but still offer the room. They could not give us another room as the hotel was fully booked they said. And because we checked in late at night, there was no time to find another hotel and we were stuck in that room for the night with our three year old child. The next day, we checked out and obviously were denied a refund for the following nights were we did not want to stay at the hotel anymore. Apart from that the hotel was very old and the bathroom was moldy. And the constant vibrations from the metro are also very disturbing. 1100€ down the gutter and our first night in Paris ruined.

Le système de chauffage est une grosse climatisation dans la chambre : elle s’active toutes les 10 minutes et fait un bruit monstrueux. Sans compter les grosses ventilations extérieures à quelques mètres de la fenêtre, les vibrations du métro la journée, et le personnel qui gueule dans le couloir.

Basic hotel in an excellent location. Small but comfortable room. Some low rumbling from train but not bothersome in my opinion. Thin walls so probably not a great romantic getaway but perfect for a budget-minded solo traveler with easy access to transportation to all of the Paris sights. Skip the breakfast and enjoy it at the Cafe Montparnasse or Paris Baguette a few steps away.

The location was excellent, near Luxembourg Garden, plenty of bistros and shopping. The room was spacious relative to other hotels in Paris. The major downside is that if you are a light sleeper, the underground is quite noisy even with windows closed. Sound sleepers no problem.

The staff was very friendly but our plane was delayed a day so we were late for our reservation. My husband called to arrange things and the person on the phone told him it would be fine we would just have to pay for all of our nights we had booked which made sense to us. When we got there the next morning our reservation had been cancelled and they had charged us for the one night we didn’t check in. They no longer had a room for us but found us one the next night. We spent most of a day after getting off of an overnight flight wandering Paris without a shower and jet lagged. It all worked out in the end but started out rocky.

Noisy rooms, elevator dating from 60s, receptionists in the evening not helpful. A part of the hotel doesn't have elevator so one should be careful while booking. Range of breakfast menu is very limited given the price we pay for it. Wash basin got chocked and we shifted to another room and that room's wash basin also got chocked.

The evening staff was horrible, very rude and unprofessional. The man I asked help because the air conditioning was dripping water literally on the bed on the face of my friend while she was sleeping. He said with a bad attitude that he can't help me, only he can do is to turn off the air conditioning, it's terribly hot and said open the window and door, you think you can sleep with the door open, and that time the window was wrapped with plastic and can't be opened. He is a very representative of this hotel, very unprofessional and rude. We put all the towels to the dripping air conditioner and we slept for 2 days in a very bad condition. Our money should be returned to us...... The bed covers are older than old and same with the towels, they need an upgrade. The lady in the morning was nice and professional but didn't do anything to resolve our issue as well, maybe she did but no action on the management? The only positive is the location of this hotel, otherwise everything is bad.

Es war für mich sehr günstig gelegen da ich mit dem Zug weiter fahren wollte und es liegt genau gegenüber von Bahnhof.Metro war auch vor der Tür.Mehrere lokale zum essen oder Trinken in die nähe.Das Hotel war gut sauber ,gutes Frühstück und sehr Preiswert.Ich habe mich auch sicher gefühlt.Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Paris has a great Metro system and Montparnasse is a major bus and subway hub. I was able to get anywhere in the city. Usually within thirty minutes. One of the main train stations is right there as well.

Basic hotel in an excellent location. Small but comfortable room. Some low rumbling from train but not bothersome in my opinion. Thin walls so probably not a great romantic getaway but perfect for a budget-minded solo traveler with easy access to transportation to all of the Paris sights. Skip the breakfast and enjoy it at the Cafe Montparnasse or Paris Baguette a few steps away.

The hotel was in a good location, with many restaurants nearby. The metro was also very close which made travel in the city convenient. Breakfast had a good selection and a good value. Since we were so close to the metro, we could hear the rumble of trains arriving, we did get use to the sound. The rooms were fairly small but had everything you needed. The bathroom was a good size.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Excellent location with easy access to train/metro. Many restaurants nearby with reasonable price and delicious food. The hotel facilities/conditions are expected to be improved. The wine glasses are very dirty which was quite shocking. The bathroom is very dated. Duvet cover feels very tough. Not very comfy. Not very noise-proof as you can hear people from upstairs flushing the toilet. Don't bother the breakfast. Luckily we usually get up late so didn't bother booking the breakfast. It doesn't worth 12euro for mainly cereals.

Rooms are not well equipped for digital devices. Even on the top floor, the Metro roars under the building all night. It is simple but good & I will stay there again as for Paris the price is reasonable. My stay was pleasant & hassle free.

Very cheerful staff. Room was very clean. Very good continental breakfast for about Euro 10.00 Plenty of restaurants around. Easy access to Montparnasse train station, Many Métro lines too. 3 Métro stops to Denfer-Rochereau RER station where I could catch a direct train to Charles-de-Gaulle airport (Euro 11.00). I could hear the background noise of Metro (very common in many buildings in Paris), but it didn't prevent me to sleep. And I wouldn't complain because the price is very good. I will definitely come back.

They originally gave away our room, so if you plan to arrive late call and let them know. The girl who checked us in was helpful thankfully. Very basic room but I was happy to have a bed after long days traveling. Hotel is under construction outside so be mindful, you can hear them working in the morning. Overall I can’t complain.

The hotel and the room was very clean. The staff was very professional. I did not have breakfast at the hotel during my stay. The mattress was too firm (but that's a personal preference). The only issue was the "toilet running noise" when not in use. It was intermittent yet consistent sounds of toilet running water. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel.
