Excellent location and room size. Being connected to a mall that has most of what we needed is most helpful and convenient. The mall is well-maintained with a good mix of upmarket tenants as well as food. The subway station was also connected to the mall. The hotel has a common living room with a coffee machine which was comfortable and especially useful if someone in the room needed a place to work separately. As the living room was accessed using a room key card, the space felt private and safe. We found hair on the floor when we checked in so cleanliness can be improved. Some signs of wear and tear but it’s not unexpected given the age of the place. The hotel could also been more generous with towels. The staff at the desk and breakfast were very helpful and efficient. My daughter enjoyed the breakfast. Overall, we would choose to stay here again.

LFC is connected to a lux mall. There is a main entrance on the ground floor and from within the mall. It can be a little confusing at first. The mall has an upscale grocery and restaurants on the lowest level. The room is western/comfortable. There is free coffee through the day starting at 7am. I did not eat breakfast. It seemed expensive at about $25USD for what it was. Staff English is passable, not great. Gym is okay for a few days. Sauna is clean. The views are outstanding.

It’s a great place for longer stays in Shanghai. It’s right next to the harbor and Pearl Tower The room has everything an apartment would have like mini kitchen, microwave, sink, tableware, stove and oven. In the room is even a washer and bathrooms have a bidet which is huge deal if you are already used to that at home. Location is basically connected to a upscale mall where there is all the high-end brands, the type when you walk in, it smells like roses. There is also a big Apple Store. There are lots of restaurants and even a Shake Shack burger joint so you can get a relief from the local food. It’s got a nice heated pool on the top floor with a sauna and fitness center. There is a little place where the kids can play which was a lifesaver if you got little kids. There is this “living room” common area on the 3rd floor where breakfast is served, it’s got a bunch of couches and tables so you can chill out and drink some free coffee all day. That layer has also a outdoor patio where you can sit outside under the tall buildings. Business center is really decent with computers, printers, a copier and shredder. You have to walk through this common area and take another elevator to get to the lobby, it’s a little inconvenient but not a big deal. The only negative point is the breakfast which could try a little harder. It just does not match how nice everything else is. Overall I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Perfect location for shopping and walking around, the rooftop swimming pool was amazingly clean with a beautiful view of the landscape. Suite was quite cozy and spacious, shower was really powerful. The living space on 3rd floor is connected to the IFC mall so it's quite convenience to walk around

The IFC Residence was a brilliant hotel experience. I booked the King suite which was very spacious and clean and the facilities were brilliant. As someone who loves swimming and saunas, the roof pool and spa facilities were excellent. The pool opens at 7am and doesn't close until 10pm. At one point I was the only one using the pool and jacuzzi area - looking out right at the financial centre buildings. So good! There was a minor hiccup with the check-in system, but the hoteliers kindly provided free refreshments on their 3rd floor resting area whilst they sorted it out. Very impressed!

not very family friendly. only one king bed, no sofa bed or pull out bed. The pool is very nice, but it was very crowded the day we went. Parking was not included which was very odd, because most of the hotels gives you free parking. it's not a very easy access from the mall to the entrance of the hotel, very confusing.

the bathroom hallway in room 1718 has a foul odor that is unbearable. Additionally, there is a significant amount of dust on the bedside table and kitchen floor! I have allergies, and I couldn't sleep at all last night due to constant sneezing, compounded by the unclean floors. For a hotel that claims to offer high-end service, this level of hygiene is simply unacceptable.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The mall is just next door. Have stayed in this hotel three times. During my last stay, I thought I lost my hand phone, Cindy and her colleagues were very helpful to try to locate my phone via the Didi company. Really appreciate their help. However, the conditions of the first room given to us was not so good. There were stains in the bathroom which shouldn’t be the case. Housekeeping is lacking though the housekeep staff was very friendly when I met them along the corridor.

Hotel room is designed poorly. Hairdryer power plugs into a socket inside a drawer which cannot be opened without hitting the toilet. Smoke detector is installed above the bed and flashing lights every second. Other than this, everything else is good in terms of facilities, services and cleanliness.

The IFC Residence is perfectly located in the financial center above the IFC Mall, which contains City Super market and below that is the Lujiazui stop on the #2 line of the metro. The rooms are huge and fully equipped. Great views of the towering skyscrapers. You could live here and be totally at home, if only for a few days or even years. We stayed in a studio which did not feel that it was a studio with the huge bathroom and nicely appointed kitchen. This is definitely the place to stay if visiting Shanghai. Staff was wonderful, the indoor rooftop pool is something else.

Room is spacious and clean. The cookwares are a bit old, one of the pot handle was loose and stained. Truly enjoy having a kitchen, managed to cook twice and had morning coffees while getting ready. The room has a direct view of the Pearl Tower, extremely beautiful at night. Highly recommend this hotel and I will book it again.

Great spot in the heart of the core. Connected to the mall and two critical train lines. The accommodation itself is very nice. Equipped with a kitchen with washer/dryer for laundry. A separate living room and dining room and office and bedroom with full bath and powder room. Very nice place.

It is above a very high end mall with luxury shops and restaurants, metro is also underneath, which is only 2 stops to the People's Square. Fantastic view of the Bund from the footbridge of the hotel. Taxi to everywhere is also very cheap.

The IFC Residence is perfectly located in the financial center above the IFC Mall, which contains City Super market and below that is the Lujiazui stop on the #2 line of the metro. The rooms are huge and fully equipped. Great views of the towering skyscrapers. You could live here and be totally at home, if only for a few days or even years. Very nice business hotel at central location, in connection with IFC mall many opportunities for dining and shopping. Direct access to subway. Rooms are spacious and cooking equipment and coffee machine are available. No need to book the breakfest, it is not worth the money.

Hotel und Pool super aber Frühstück nicht gut. Rührei und andere Speisen, die warm sein sollten, kalt. Geschmack aller Speisen nur mittelmäßig. Wetter wäre gut gewesen, um wenigstens einer der Terrassen am Nachmittag zu öffnen, das war aber nicht der Fall.
