Great location, 5 min walk to Powells and 10 min walk to Providence Park. Fun, funky hotel with bar and food vendors right below. Valet was expensive, and we were there for a concert weekend so all the public lots were full. Only 2 elevators for over 10 story building, of course one was broken, so hotel workers had to let us into stairs. Hotel had white noise machine and ear plugs in our room for all that city noise.

Property was really nice along with staff. I just didn’t know housekeeping do not come in at all throughout your stay. We also did not ask so that may just be on our part. Really loved everything else staff were amazing especially the guy running the bar Conan I believe. Sushi burritos here are also greattt!! Nice gym as well

Parking is pricy. But the hotel is beautiful and so lively/ fun! The rooms can get a bit noisy but they provide ears plugs and white noise machines! It’s so trendy and clean. The bed was comfy! There was no refrigerator Though. That was the only downside really. The bar is fun! Great price.

We really enjoyed our time at the Moxy. We came in to Portland to attend a concert at the Crystal Ball room. The Moxy is very close to the concert hall and it's easy to walk to and from. There is a parking lot next to the Moxy where you can park overnight for 35 dollars and that was handy. It's very hip and modern. We enjoyed getting takeout from both restaurants on site. There is a bar on the bottom level with cool artwork you can purchase and photo booths. The floors in the rooms are not carpeted which was fine for us. We liked they had a little fridge in the room and a sound machine to block out any outside city noise. It was functional and met our needs for our visit.

The Moxy Downtown was a vibe. Great employees and excellent customer services. I loved the art and the food court inside. The gym was fantastic and great to get one of my trainings done while traveling. The room was very cute and modern. I loved how Portland it all was. Would definitely stay here again.

There’s a large bar inside, and since it’s in the downtown area, there’s no free parking. We chose valet parking at $62 per night, which included in-and-out privileges. Still, we had a great overall experience.

I usually leave great reviews and have loved Moxy hotels. Only thing wrong this time around was not having clean sheets. Asked for cleaning and then ended up seeing they were the same sheets. I understand cleaning is optional but coming to the hotel, i expected the sheets to be fresh and clean originally.

Moxy Portland was okay, but just that. Some of the staff were friendly and polite, while some seemed disinterested and casual - our room was quite dusty and the air vents circulated dust within our room. Location was great, walking distance to most of Downtown Portland.

The check-in was fine but the clerk had a hard time hearing snce they share the check-in area with the bar and it was loud but she was nice. The bed was not comfortable and we were only given 1 big towel for the shower even though we checked in as 2 people staying in the room. There was a large clump of hair hanging from the wall hanging decoration in the bathroom.

We really enjoyed the Moxy. Employees at the front desk at check in did a great job. The room was on the 11 floor. We heard it can be noisy, but being up that high, I guess, we didn't experience it. Loved the corner room with ceiling to floor windows and a comfy bed. My only complaint is that there was no housekeeping in our room. We were out of the room all day and I had expected the bed to be made when we got back. This was not the case. I'm unsure if you have to request it. It says they provide daily housekeeping when I check the sight. Oh well, I'd still stay here again.

The Moxy is a quirky and trendy spot, smells fabulous as soon as you walk in. Great location to visit Powell's, Voodoo Donuts, and everything Downtown. However our room was smaller than anticipated. Limited on its amenities. The walls are extremely thin, we could hear our neighbors' conversations. Not a fan of the noise machine either. Our particular mattress sunk in the middle, it was not very comfortable. The only favorite part about the room was its cleanliness and the bathroom. I would not recommend staying for an extended visit but rather for a short stay.

Great small room, great amenities, clean Wi-Fi works well TV works well, good shower heat water pressure. The bathroom door is a sliding door that does not block.out any noise, if you happen to be staying there with on a new date lol. The room has a noise machine on the wall, it will definitely come in handy. It is a bit of a party hotel. And the noise in the streets, garbage trucks, sound of DJs music is substantial. So if you are a very light sleeper, pick your room wisely.

it's a nice modern hotel, in the downtown Portland area, which I liked. I was only there a few days but could walk to lots of restaurants and things to do. My room was clean if a little small, but I was traveling solo, so that's okay. I would say that the walls are a little thin. I got to overhear a loud and colorful phone conversation by someone in a nearby room. it was actually kind of amusing. I would recommend staying here.

Cute hotel in a super central spot. Terribly thin walls; think hearing every word your neighbours say like you would all be in the same room. Nothing to block out sun so you’re when the sun is. No door on shower, but there was no shower pressure anyway so at least it didn’t make a mess. Fine spot if you’re just trying to sleep and spending the day out

I didnt care for the frosted over windows. It felt claustrophobic. I would prefer to draw a blind if i wanted. Hotel wasn't full but they gave me one of the worst rooms in the hotel. Some sort of mechanical noise outside of the window i couldn't see out of. My guess was the heat pump units ( compressors). They gave you ear plugs and a white noise machine... but i would have rather had a quieter room. If you have trouble sleeping, you might keep this in mind. Smelled like paint in the hallway. There was a painting contractor there. No fridge or microwave... bring ironed clothes. There is no iron.

Moxy is lovely and so are the rooms. However, I could literally hear the person next to me texting! I could also hear people talking in a normal tone in their rooms and down the hall. The walls are so thin. The shower is also a little weird…has no door so water gets all over the bathroom

Checking in wasn’t seamless. I had booked through Expedia 2mo prior and requested 2 rooms and conjoined room for my family- associate’s response “well we don’t have conjoined rooms and you only booked one, so”- felt unappreciated and complete lack of service. He went on to say that because I didn’t book directly (because no one does that?!) he couldn’t warrant the second room. Provided my email confirmation and after being late to our event- was finally provided with a second room. Not one time did he apologize for any inconvenience and I especially felt he could have cared less that this was highly inconvenient - between the eye rolls I received when addressing concerns to lack of empathy to make the situation better- we will most certainly not be going back to moxy

Hotel is clean and conveniently located. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The walls are so thin it’ll be impossible to sleep if you have a loud guest next door. The sound canceling machine on the wall and ear plugs on the night stand let you know what to expect. Homeless people practically outnumber the residents in Downtown Portland, felt unsafe a few times as a female solo traveler.

The hotel itself was great. Our car got broken into parked right behind the hotel. We could see our car from our window and it still got broken into. Nothing of value inside. There are very limited parking options nearby. I would recommend finding a gated secure lot with an attendant. And walking the extra blocks.

We decided to book this property since it was close to our concert that we were going to. It was great and that it was clean close to our venue and the amenities were OK. I did not like the fact that they advertised 4 restaurants and when we were there, only one was available. We did eat at the one that was available and it was fine, except for the fact that they asked for a tip when we had to order from a kiosk and pick it up ourselves little strange… the hotel itself was cute and eclectic, and we found that fun.

Cool spot. Love the art, bar for a front desk, super clean all gender bathrooms…Moo Deng brick food truck inside is legit. Max or Streetcar within a block. Powell’s, Whole Foods a 5 minute walk. Had fun on a Lyft e-scooter but can add up if using frequently. Uber to east side was $10 in non peak times. Took Max to airport and back for $2 each way. Fun cocktail list, board games, love the mystery box vending machine, Photo Booth…place is fun. Mystery Box reminds me of a dive bar that I loved that had one when I lived in Laurelhurst. Got a great price for 6 nights with a free upgrade upon check-in from Queen standard room to King deluxe style with mini fridge and desk. Loved the bathrooms and pretty quiet on the 9th floor. 1 of 2 Elevators went down early in the week and a Mr. Fixit jammed it out in less than an hour. Will recommend to anyone that comes to PDX.
