Great property. We were able to easily and safely walk to our concert at the smoothie king center. We purchased the breakfast option and it did not disappoint!! The breakfast buffet was top notch. We opted for a corner room and the views were great. Also checked out the gym which was a perfect set up with amazing views of the dome and river. Valet parking was quick and easy. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The property is located within walking distance of Bourbon Street, casino and convention center. The breakfast buffet was worth the money, with excellent choices. My only complaint is that the pool was oily and cloudy, which seemed unsafe.

This hotel is HUGE and has many amenities. I felt the room was dirty and also the pool area. The pool needed to be filled up, too. The water was about a foot from the top - that always feels subpar.

I like the quiet, cool, and calm environment at this hotel. I have disliked the scent of old, dirty carpets or chairs. I'm unsure; it smelled like a cooking spice called cumin or sweat. Thank you for all the other great things about your hotel!

We always appreciate the personal welcome on the TV. The TV was easy to use; however, the remote in our room needed to be replaced. Our room on the 15th floor had a beautiful view of downtown. The view from the hall by the elevator was a gorgeous panorama of the Mississippi River bridge lit for night viewing. The elevators were clean and efficient and had a glass for viewing the lobby area below. The room was attractive, comfortable and clean, with the coffeemaker easy to use. My wife prefers the small set of bath products but those on the shower wall were ample and sufficient. We found the bed comfortable, but the selection of pillows could have included a variety instead of all being very firm. The bath was clean and the shower easy to operate. The two downsides were the low toilet and the only choice of bathroom lighting being shockingly bright. It was nice to find an emergency flashlight in the closet but it, too, was too bright. There was a variety of restaurants. The mandatory destination charge of $25 plus tax annoying, as the only thing we got from it was two glasses of wine. We could have applied the $15 food and beverage credit for some coffee and pastries at breakfast, but when we arrived at the breakfast restaurant we were informed that the only food or drink available was a buffet for $28.75 per person. The staff were all professional and friendly. We self-parked in the deck for less than $30. Overall, the hotel was attractive, well staffed, clean and enjoyable.

The hotel overall looked very nice. However, the room I was not very clean. The carpet in my room was filthy and my room had a bar of opened and used soap in the soap dish. I didn't feel like the room was properly cleaned before I came. My sister's room had a crab claw shell that someone had eaten on the floor by her bed and her toilet didn't work. We checked in late, so maintenance was in her room fixing a broken toilet at 11:30 p.m.

The convenience and walking distance to the Smoothie King were excellent. The beds are comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are smaller than expected but doable. The staff from the car service, bellhops, and check-in staff were phenomenal. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room was underwhelming - smaller than expected. There was a stain on our chaise lounge. Also, the hotel’s open corridor concept on the guest floors isn’t child friendly. Thankfully, it was only my wife and I on this trip, because the low partition walls that overlook and border the central atrium is very dangerous for younger children due to the risk of falling / climbing over the same. Also, the check-in process was a bit clumsy. There’s also a bit of a walk from reception with luggage to the escalators that take you to the 3rd floor where the guest room elevators are located. The elevators that lead to the guest room floors are really modern and high tech. Lastly, it’s not advisable to stay here with a rental car as the parking rates are very high.

We were there at 2:30 to check in so that we could be at the TS concert at 4:15 bc the door opened at 4:30 & we wanted to get merch. The lady at the front desk told me that we were checked in and that she would text/call us when the room was finished being cleaned. She told us the room we were waiting for was being cleaned at that very moment. We had to get ready for the concert in the 3rd floor sitting area and in the very small bathroom. We had to curl our hair from the 1 plug behind the door on the floor! That is unacceptable. Finally at 4:35 a man, not a worker, told my husband to go down there and stand there until a room pops open on the screen that shows it is cleaned and she would put him in right then because that it what they did after hours of waiting that morning. It was my husbands 3rd time down to the front desk. If your check in time is at 4:00 you should have ALL rooms cleaned by 4:00. No exceptions. You increase the prices for large events so, as a business, you should provide the service on time! 4:00 is a LATE check in time anyway!! You certainly didn't offer to extend our time on checkout. So we kept up our side of the contract but you did not. I will never stay at your hotel ever, ever again.

They lied and said there was a plumbing issue come to find out it was because they overbooked. They transferred us to a different hotel. At the different hotel I had a bathroom issue. Then we were locked out of our room and could not get into it for over 30 minutes waiting on security!!!!!!!

We had an amazing trip from start to finish. A friend and I came down for night one of the Eras Tour, the hotel staff were so organized and kept everything running smoothly. Our room was ready early, the shuttle and parking were easy to navigate. The entire environment was welcoming and embracing of the Swiftie universe! From friendship bracelets on arrival to the DJ and 360 Photo Booth, to the Photo Booth set up, to the flyer of all events and how to find them. We felt safe, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was AMAZING. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!

I stayed in room 2518 for 2 nights. Both evenings there was a terrible ruckus going on above me. Constant thumping and voices and laughter and someone playing a drum. And I mean all night. Past 3:00 in the morning. I called the front desk but they did not answer. I told the gentleman at checkout but honestly he was not concerned. This hotel cost me nearly $600 for my stay and it was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

Booked this trip FOUR months in advance as a getaway for me and my wife. I paid for a King bed, but when we checked in, we were given a room with 2 double beds instead of the king bed that I paid for. Spoke to staff about the mix up and they said there was nothing they could do. Imagine booking a getaway with you wife and you can’t even sleep in the same bed. Staff was unapologetic and did not care whatsoever. Absolute joke.

Excellent hotel with great restaurants! Hotel is across the street from the Superdome and Smoothie King Center convenient for concerts and Saints games. We chose this hotel mainly because it was walking distance to the Smoothie King center as we visited New Orleans for a concert. We will always choose the Hyatt Regency for future visits!

Front Desk is open for 24 hours unlike other hotels in the area. They are kind and attentive. It is in a convenient location within 30 minutes walks to French quarter and Jackson Square.

The breakfast was ordered from 601, it was cold.. The food from the Sports Bar inside the hotel was ok, but my steak was burnt and tasted like charcoal, other than that it was a very beautiful scenary and clean amd friendly environment

This is a massive hotel geared to conventions. The only breakfast choice in the hotel is a $27 buffet, which is hard to justify. There are other options a block or so away and there is a Starbucks that has some breakfast options in the hotel.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in a while. The customer service definitely is good and they are friendly. The hotel is clean inside and out. This is a good area if you like downtown and the convince of catching a car, bus, or even walk because everything is in close distance. The food at the restaurants are good and so are the restaurants outside of the hotel. The only reason I did not give the hotel a 5/5 is because the water pressure is so low and it also takes awhile for the water to get warm. We did have a quick power outage but the hotel did send out an apology for inconvenience which was considerate.

Jeff in parking and from Slidell! Super outstanding young man, remember us by our first name!!! He went above and beyond!!! Everyone in parking was so incredibly kind. Hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful. Rooms were super clean. Only hiccup was breakfast at 8 block. Line was extremely backed up!!!!!
