Hyatt Regency New Orleans

We enjoyed our stay on this property immensely. It was amazingly clean and the views of the city were beautiful. Having several restaurants on the property as well as a Starbucks and Dave and Buster's was definitely a plus.

Staff would not allow me to do late check out. I asked twice on 2 different dates. But then when I went to check out at 11:20, they charged me $50 for late check out even though I left the room at 11:00 and it took me 20 minutes to catch the elevator and put my things in the car. They refunded me the money but still charged me $67 even though Hotels.com said it would only be an extra $58. Lastly, it was difficult at times catching the elevators as they were packed and the bathrooms are really small

Cold eggs

Breakfast could use some help. We were the second set of people to be there,( we eat early) and our eggs were cold and so were the grits. Also we fought the mattress cover all night. The staff put a queen size on a king so it kept coming off. When we requested a change from the cleaning staff on our floor. it will be done and there was never done. I went down to request from the front desk because it was a very busy rodeo weekend. It was a very long line and I didn’t have time to wait but I would try to call her down to the front desk. I would get a busy signal so we dealt with it. we tried the front desk first, and then we tried the cleaning staff..

Th hotel was nice and the room was clean. You are walking distance to everything.
