They did not have hot water and did not let us know that on check in. Additionally the pool was out of order, no water. We checked out after the first night. The staff was gracious and provided a refund.

There is only 1 elevator. It has been out off & on for several months. Room we booked was not available. After much discussion with Expedia they moved us to a much better place.

We booked this place over memorial weekend and got our truck broken into and property stolen. As nice as this place is you think there would be cameras on the property but no. We had to cut our trip short and leave because it didn’t feel safe anymore.

The place was quiet,room had lots of appliances like microwave/silverware/toast/coffee maker ECT ect,staff were nice,the parking is kinda small,were doing renovations,and the elevator seem to take forever most of the time,other then that,the hotel was good.

First, as you drive up to the property, the weeds are almost as tall as the hotel in the property just in front of the Hotel, that it maid it look abandoned. Then we tried to check in only to find out KEY CARD system had been down for a 2nd day so no key card to issue. They had to personally let us in our rooms with a key card and advised that we not lock the doors if we were going to be going in and out. Then they also tell us the elevators are broken and no ETA of when they would be fixed. So we had to carry our luggage to the 4th floor and there were 10 of us with kids. Upon waking up the next morning, there was a large roach crawling on our bed! When I checked out and told the front desk her reply was 'OH'. Never again will we stay there.

First room, #411, took 3 trips/3 cards, door never opened. Moved to #413. Second day of our 2 night reservation, locked out. Had to get card re-keyed. Front desk clerk laying on her b/friend on the couch in the lobby about 8:30 pm. Asked for coffee for our room. Box was empty. Lukewarm shower. Front desk said 3 of 4 boilers were out and being worked on. No water in the pool, although website does not show that. Front parking lot was roped off to be painted. There is no other way to enter the parking lot… very inconvenient.

The Washer /Dryer Ma chines did not work, The Elevator quit working for the fourth floor, since I am semi disabled this did not go well for check out this morning, Its very difficult for me to do stairs to bring my luggage down, and when I looked on the web site it showed a breakfast but this one did not have a breakfast . other than that it was a quite stay

This was terrible! The elevators didn’t work, card keys worked sometimes on the doors, grass out front was tall as my car, people hanging out in the parking lot, and the staff wasn’t the best. We opted to leave

The elevators were broken. They gave us the 4th floor room. The whole hotel smelled like mildew. Tiles in the bathroom were broken. Coffee machine broken. The stairwell was also warm. We were only offered a snack for the inconvenience. And it was too late to get a full refund to go anywhere else.

Black Mold growing on the top of the shower. Shower fixtures have massive water spot build-up. The carpet in the hallway was nasty dirty. My curtains had rips down them. Other than that, the staff was amazing and helpful, room was a great size, bed was comfy, and for the most part it was quiet, however, I would stay as far away from the elevator as possible. Every time someone pressed the button, you could hear it ding in the room.

I am not sure where to begin, but this is the most disgusting hotel I have stayed in. The entire hotel smelled like weed. The sheets had stains on them. The curtains had what appeared to be blood stains on them. In the drawers of the bathroom Simone left pubic trimmers, dirty underwear and pajama pants. The staff did nothing to take care of the problems. The rewards program was a joke as well. There is little to no lighting in the parking lot so I was a bit surprised my car was still there in the morning. Took photos of all of these things and still the management did nothing. It seriously appeared to be a “pay by the hour hotel”. I do not recommend anything about this hotel other than leaving!

Nice front desk staff. Hotel seemed fairly clean but rooms are in serious need of updates. A/C did not maintain temp, had to adjust thermostat throughout the night between 65 & 75. Bathroom fixtures obviously rusted, shower head pressure so hard it was painful, like needles. Difficult to maintain hot water. Quality of room reminded me of a Motel 6.

The room was perfect for the price. I wish I had a longer stay to enjoy the kitchenette. There is a microwave and 2 burner elec stove. Also a large fridge. Plenty of room for 2 people.

Overall for a one night, it was pretty great! King size bed was really comfy and soft. The room was really clean and spacious, also loved that the pull out couch had its own lil private space in the room. The staff who helped us was really helpful, kind and patient with our last min check in room. Next time we plan a trip there, definitely gonna get a room there again!!

The ladies staff were very amicable and professional! During my stay, there was no toilet paper, the ice machine was down and l had a hard time sleeping due to excessive noise from AC units by my window. I did not sleep well there due to loud noise outside my bedroom window due to fans straining excessively and making a very loud noise that kept me up or woke me up abruptly due to loud sounds of AC fans!

Jada was great in helping me print my items due to business center printer being down. The room was an amazing; full-size fridge, fully equipped with real silverware and dinnerware, stove, micro, pots, coffee maker, and coffee. Plenty of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. You could comfortably stay here and have what you need if you wanted to purchase items to prepare your meals. The rooms did seem to be sound proof.

We did not get to stay at this hotel. We were not given the room we reserved which was a king bed suite. Instead we were given a suite with a queen. There were 3 of us. When questioned the receptionist about it she said Hotels.com did not send the correct room reservation. In addition, they were out of rooms. She gave me a copy of the reservation made by Hotels.com and it right but she handwrote that we reserved a queen suite! She lied and more than likely gave my room to someone else. We arrived there at 10:20 and because of this we weren’t able to find a room at another hotel until almost midnight! This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

No one at the front to check in, got to the room and the keys didn’t work. Went back downstairs and it took ten minutes to find front desk girl to get keys reprogrammed. Room was dirty and beds looked disheveled. Took a shower and not a single towel in the room. Dried off with paper towels. Lifted toilet seat and it had skid marks like someone had just gone the bathroom. Trash can still had trash in it from prior guest. Went back down to front desk and asked for a different room. Finally got keys to a different room and the keys didn’t work. Had to go back down to front desk and get them reprogrammed. Second room had a TV but no remote to turn it on. Finally got a remote from first room and turned on TV but still didn’t work. It was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Do not waste your time or money staying there.

They didn't have the room we reserved. We reserved a king suite and they put us in a regular much smaller room. The reason they gave was that they were overbooked. They didn't mention it when we checked in. They gave us the room key and sent us on our way. It wasn't until I came back down to let them know it was the wrong room that they tried to find us a room in the size we had reserved. They had none available. The best they would do was put us in a slightly bigger room than the tiny room they originally tried to stick us with. They said they would try to adjust the total but we haven't seen any credits come through. It was so disappointing to be stuck in a room we didn't reserve. Our room was confirmed when we made the reservation.

Bad staff, check in. The reception person gave us a room, when we went to that room and we tried to open the key didn’t work, came down and she gave me a new card- key, came back to the 4 th floor and open the door and it was occupied. I came down again with my family (wife and kids) and i asked them what is going on? She told me was a “system error “ and apologized. Then she told me that she was going to give me another room but only with 2 beds and we were 5 in total, that is why I paid for a room with a sofa. She told me “we don’t have any” and I said, then give my money back, and she replied “we don’t give money back “. So I got upset and asked her what is it that I am supposed to do??? Then she told me that there is a room with same specifications. So disappointed, all the lies over and over. The room had a terrible smell of humidity. I will Never come back to this hotel.

I called 0ct 11 to confirm my reservation. They confirmed. I called Friday Oct 13th in the afternoon to tell them we were going to arrive about 11pm. They said that was fine. We called about 9:00pm to tell them we were going to be even later. They said that was fine. Arrived at 3am and they said the reservation had been canceled 3 days prior. Huh? I was super annoyed.

Overall a nice place to stay although the front of property by highway is overgrown but I believe that would be the city’s responsibility. Clean, quiet and close to shopping.

Room was good, the hotel was under some remodeling? But not my room. Staff was very nice and helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, there was only one coffee to make in the room & the complimentary coffee in lobby was terrible, brown muddy color. Outside sitting areas in the back were good

Very disappointing. We had a 1 bedroom suite, the couch bed was dirty when we pulled it out. You could tell the sheets weren’t changed. The pillows that were provided for the couch bed had hair all over it. The “complementary” shampoo and conditioner had been used. Very loud in the building. The floors creaked. The smoke alarm went off for about 30 mins. Etc etc etc. and they don’t got breakfast .

The room was dirty and outdated. The tv was so little. Bathroom tubs have mold around them. Dirty floors. Coffee pots in rooom, 1 pack of coffee for 2 people and no water to make the coffee. They offer free coffee in the area up-front, but I may not be able to go get it. The food for purchsse is so expensive. So you have to go out of the building to get something. Too expensive hotel for what they offer. The outside of the building looks horrible.

First room, #411, took 3 trips/3 cards, door never opened. Moved to #413. Second day of our 2 night reservation, locked out. Had to get card re-keyed. Front desk clerk laying on her b/friend on the couch in the lobby about 8:30 pm. Asked for coffee for our room. Box was empty. Lukewarm shower. Front desk said 3 of 4 boilers were out and being worked on. No water in the pool, although website does not show that. Front parking lot was roped off to be painted. There is no other way to enter the parking lot… very inconvenient.

The Washer /Dryer Ma chines did not work, The Elevator quit working for the fourth floor, since I am semi disabled this did not go well for check out this morning, Its very difficult for me to do stairs to bring my luggage down, and when I looked on the web site it showed a breakfast but this one did not have a breakfast . other than that it was a quite stay

The shower had, great water, pressure, other than that I would not stay here again. It was dirty, and multiple items in the “gym” or broken or missing. There are many other hotels in San Marcos that are similarly priced, much cleaner, and in much better condition. Also, there’s no included breakfast, this is clear on the website, but other hotels at the same price point or lower include breakfast.

Pool was not working and my kids wanted to swim. One small ice machine for the whole hotel. Internet was in & out. The location was a little tricky to get to. Parking lot was very dark.
