Proximity to the Ferry is a big plus if you are touring the islands. The hotel would have a monopoly if it had a cafe, restaurant or bar - its 4 miles into town and nothing else in the area. Big opportunity.

Excellent location for ferries to San Juan Islands. Property has ample parking and great views of the harbor and water. Property is a bit dated and needs updates. Breakfast minimal no hot options. Property was not far from restaurants to drive to and location was quiet and felt safe.

Beautiful property within sight of the ferry dock. Exceptional views, nice sitting areas, working electric car charger, convenient parking, well-kept grounds. Our room had a hot tub with a view of the water. We would definitely stay again!

Stayed here one night in July 2025 as we had an early ferry to catch the next morning. The hotel is on beautiful grounds overlooking the bay. It was a nice sunny day so that may have helped our experience, but the view was amazing. We had a balcony , and we also used the common area patio with fireplace to enjoy a self-made cocktail to watch the sunset. Definitely give this place a shot, it's great.

Beautiful view of the water. Nice big room with comfy king bed, fridge and spa tub. Had to get the king suite for a pet. Breakfast average. Walkable/easy drive to the ferry. Front desk staff are fantastic! Helped make the room change on the phone, even though I booked through Expedia, and when there the front desk person came to the room to help with the fireplace, and the heat.

This is such a beautiful property and just overall an amazing place to stay. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it certainly won’t be my last. The staff is kind and accommodating and we were able to walk to the ferry. Such a good experience.

Big room, nice people. Very basic breakfast and no restaurants close by (you have to drive) so bring food! Super close to the ferry, they even offer for people to park at the inn for a small fee.

Unfortunately, my second separate 3 day stay within a week was once again marred by the room not cleaned properly. This time a dirty towel was left hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom. The two hide-a-bed chairs again had debris left from previous guests, seemingly numerous. Crumbs and food wrappers were under the chair cushions and one of them actually had a dog biscuit under it! Unacceptable! I told the housekeeper who seemed to push the blame off onto a different housekeeper, and asked her to clean the room. She said she would, but when we returned to our room again that night, it was still unclean. I complained to the front desk and the next day it was finally cleaned. I really enjoyed this property even though the furnishings are old, but it has a beautiful view and is convenient to my reason for visiting the area. However, the lack of cleanliness on my last two stayd makes me reluctant to stay there again.

The floor had not been vacuumed, found popcorn hull in bathroom, large spider web under edge of bed, debris on floor in general. Quiet area, lots of deer, rabbits, and birds. Noisy water system when other guests showered. Flooring above was very noisy.

Appeared at first glance it looked cozy, but we found pubic hairs in the bathroom, woman's hair on the shower handle, scum film in the bathtub and to top it off a bug on the bed. Other than that pretty good.

The room was remodeled and had a very comfortable bed, but the walls were so thin we could hear every footstep and every noise from the room above us and beside us. The room was mostly clean but the toilet was not. There was no hair dryer, the coffee machine was gross and the breakfast was not good. Very overpriced for what they offer. The view was beautiful though.

The hotel is convenient to the ferry. That’s the positive. This hotel needs some updates. My review is specifically for room 45. It’s quite noisy - the pipes, the adjoining rooms, the heater recycles all night. The mattress is super uncomfortable. The curtains let in the outside hallway light and it’s impossible to get it dark in the room. I essentially didn’t sleep due to these factors.

I enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of the property. There is a lovely view of the water from the rooms and plenty of outdoor spaces for sitting and watching the ferries come and go and for enjoying the local deer population. The only downside for me was that I couldn't get a wifi connection in my cabin, and I needed that for work. Management kindly tried to resolve the issue by moving me to a different room. Unfortunately, I faced the same situation in the second room. Both rooms were far from the lobby. Thankfully, I discovered that I was able to get a wifi connection in the breakfast room (open 7-10 AM) and in the outdoor seating area closest to the lobby.

Staff was friendly, King suite had a cozy vibe, cute community area, very quiet, jetted tub was enjoyable, two headed shower was cool and continental breakfast was normal BUT the bed was hard as a rock! We could not sleep at all and left early to head home since we could not sleep on our get away unfortunately… We could not get comfortable at all, even with the multiple pillows they provide :(

Room was nice and big, king sized bed and two comfy living room type chairs and coffee table. Nice bathroom with good towels. Coffee in the room. Breakfast was "continental" so cereal, breads, jam, yogurt, coffee, juice, good enough.nice covered small patio/deck with two chairs.

Room was not comfortable, Bed was too soft. So many lights on the property that the room never got dark, couldn't sit on the deck and watch the sunset over the bay due to the lights. We asked the staff about it and were informed they were on a timer but they came on at 5pm and stayed on all night. Because of the lights we couldn't get any ventilation. There is no air conditioning so the room was hot because of closing the curtains and bathroom door due to THE OUTSIDE LIGHTS! Breakfast was late and average. We were very disappointed.

She went so far out of her way to help me find the office and she even helped me with connecting to the Wi-Fi. came to my door because she left to check on me because, I was having issues with the Wi-Fi, she went above and beyond she’s fantastic, great personality. Would not let us check in until 4pm. Says 3pm on Expedia/ website. Staff in the evening were very nice. Staff who did breakfast/ worked desk in the morning was very rude and not nice. Breakfast very very basic. King suite very nice and clean. Very nice location. Would not stay again for the price- 330/ night. We did stay during busy season.

The property was even better than advertised when we showed up there was outdoor seating, a view of the Ocean and the ferry terminal from every angle. The man who checked us in was very calm and friendly. The place was very clean and we would 10/10 stay here again!

We booked a pet friendly room through hotels.com. We were charged almost a full $100 more than the site quoted for the room. Upon arrival, there was no pet friendly room available for us. Further, we were told there is a $50 USD fee for pets, which the booking app made no mention of. The solution to our problem was a non pet friendly room but being charged a $75 USD fee instead of the $50 USD that we were already not aware of. Thankfully, we were able to get that extra $25 waved due to the size of our dog but it took multiple conversations with various staff members. Staff were pleasant but put all the blame on the booking site. We attempted to phone after our stay to address the higher charge than we were quoted however, this did not resolve anything. Disappointing lack of accountability. The hotel itself was cute but just ok and very overpriced even before we got overcharged. Overpriced, overcharged and underwhelmed.

Nice property, convenient for the ferry. Very pretty views. Not very much of a staff presence; ferry was late and called but were not texted our lockbox code as promised. Called again and got it okay but a bit of a hassle. No one around this morning to check out. Room a little tired. Breakfast had decent continental options. We have stayed here many times. The rooms are always cold to start, which is logical to save electricity, so we immediately turn on the wall controller or fireplace or both as need may be. WiFi works well. Our rooms have always been very clean and neat and they are very accommodating. There have been Keurigs in every room where we have roomed. The personnel are always friendly. We generally aim for the upper rooms or king with a FP where we can have a dog. There has never been a time when the room smelled of pets. The breakfast is small and smaller in the middle winter but presented well and the breads are fresh. The area is one of the nicest in Anacortes with ample parking, lawns, and views of the ferry and the sound.

Lots of areas that could be easily spruced up to make a big improvement. Towels from previous guest were still hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Bed was comfortable and clean. View was excellent and that's what you're paying for. Breakfast was lackluster. Staff were great. Crazy what you get for $200+ a night these days.
