Myself and 2 cousins stayed here for one night when we went to San Juan Island. Our room was on the second floor and had 2 queen beds. The mattresses were comfortable but the sheets were a bit stiff and scratchy. The room and all the common areas were very clean. The bathroom was very small, just enough room for the toilet and shower, with the sink actually in the room. (I’ve never understood this arrangement. It’s inconvenient in my opinion.) There were lots of Knick knacks in the lobby area giving the place a kitschy, homey vibe. There was also a cookie jar with chocolate chip cookies for the taking near the front desk; a nice touch. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The continental breakfast was adequate. There’s no elevator in the building so if you have trouble with stairs be sure to request a first floor room.

Very nice staff. The breakfast offerings were monitored closely and topped off many times. I used the small fitness room, which had a nice weight rack and mirrors, along with a few pieces of cardio equipment and water dispenser. Appreciated the eco conscious non toxic sprays to sanitize the equipment. I didn’t use the laundry facilities but it’s so helpful to have that when traveling with kids.

Hotel is nicer than it looks in photos. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was yummy! Convenient location to everything we wanted to see and do. Only concern, the housekeeping staff somehow skipped over our room. And no elevator. Climbing stairs with luggage on a broken foot wasn’t easy.

THE SERVICE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Allowed to check in 4 hours early, which we would never expect. We were given 2 great restaurant recommendations, which were amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff. Laundry services convenient. Free parking. Very comfortable beds. Clean. Loved the motion activated nightlight in the bathroom. Thank you!

Very homey, comfortable stay. Everyone is very respectful, accommodating, and helpful. Breakfast is continental, so nothing hot other than making your own toast or oatmeal. Cookies baked daily warm from the oven every evening! (sometimes morning too). New clean guest laundry room was very handy. Only criticism is pillows go flat instead of holding their shape, bathroom fan and heater rattled. But we would stay here again.

Very pleasant stay. Breakfast was good, staff were very friendly and the front desk always seemed staffed. We could hear the person upstairs walking around so would recommend top floor. Only complaint was that our room wasn't made up during two night stay, not sure why.

This property is very deceiving from the outside! Thought it would be an older motel, but it was updated and extremely clean. Probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The only issue we had was one of the staff humiliated my daughter when she told her my 4 month old grandson had a small accident on the bed and we needed to change the sheets in the room. She asked her in front of everyone sitting in the breakfast area eating if it was a number two and if she had washed them out or not. We thought that was in bad taste and my daughter and I were both extremely embarrassed. The staff we had on check in day were super sweet and so accommodating. Other than that, the hotel was great.

Very clean. Very quiet, even though the hotel is on the main road through town. Comfortable bed. Staff was super nice. They let me check in two hours early then called the room to make sure everything was fine. On the main strip so there are lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Had a great stay at The Marina Inn. Rooms are fully renovated, same as lobby and breakfast area. Staff super friendly, great location with easy access in and out of Anacortes, close enough to the ferry terminal and historic downtown.

Excellent rooms - clean and modern. Location is excellent. Felt safe to take a walk by myself to get more steps in. Had homemade cookies in lobby that were yummy. Only thing I can think that can be improved is breakfast. Could use more of a selection — less carbs.

Its a nice motel, but a little odd all rooms are on the interior. Only thing I didn't care for was tge sink on the outside of the bathroom. I realize there was no other configuration due to the rooms being on the interior.

We have family here and come up often. We have stayed at the nicest, most expensive, hotel in town. We have also stayed at the newest built hotel with similar pricing. This one is hands down the best place you will stay and always has the best prices for what you get. The front desk staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The fresh baked cookies and breakfast are perfect. The rooms are always clean. We even got an adorable Christmas card from the front desk. You won’t regret this one.

We left the property @ 5:00am to take a 6:15 ferry for San Juan Island. Although breakfast didn’t start until later, the front desk attendant went out if his way to pack muffins & fruit for us to take with us! Service above & beyond! Location was great - less than 10 min to ferry.

The lady who checked us in plus the other lady there were wonderful . So cheerful, efficient and helpful. The hotel is very convenient to drive to the ferry. Very clean. Comfortable beds. We stayed here the night before we caught the ferry and again when we came back. The price was very reasonable.

What can I even say at this point? We have been to this hotel several times in the last year and each time is consistently wonderful. There are other options in Anacortes: Ignore them! Seriously, this place has the best staff, updated rooms, and free cookies/breakfast included. You can’t go wrong here.

For over 20 years this was the place I would stay when we had to spend the night after missing the ferry or for doctors appointments. Its not updated but the people had always been nice and the rooms were clean. It felt like family. Over the last few years there was small changes in warmth. I recently had a medical emergency and had to stay near the hospital after a surgery. There was a mix up about parking and the manager just started screaming at my mom and I. She was screaming at my mom! Had no desire to hear anything I might say. I will never go back to be subject to her wild assumptions. She was abusive. I would reccomend avoiding this place now.

A great little gem in Anacortes. The room was very clean and comfortable, front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, the property felt safe, and the breakfast felt substantial. Beyond that, the little touches were also appreciated - like the cookie jar in the lobby and the small selection of books in the hallway. They are not a super quick walk to all the main restaurants, they are ~1.5 mi away (be it walking or driving) but there are restaurants around and a convenient market across the street which we appreciated having close by.

Don’t pass up on the opportunity to stay at this hotel. We stayed here for two nights with our son. It’s right by a large park with a big playground in splash pad close to everything you need and nothing you don’t. 10 out of 10 would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a very nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room was well appointed with nice features. The shower was hot quickly with one of the nicest shower heads I’ve ever seen. The breakfast was more than adequate. The price was high, but was a “deal” compared to other local options.

We went on a whale watching tour in Anacortes and wanted to stay somewhere close by. We LOVED our stay, the continental breakfast was probably the best I’ve had and the workers were constantly cleaning tables/restocking. It was the best stay.

The room was super comfy.. something weird was going on with the dryer, they did eventually fix it but i ended up spending hours trying to get my laundry done.. When I choose a hotel I always choose based on if they provide breakfast . This hotel should not say they offer breakfast . Setting bagels and toast on a counter and calling it breakfast is not breakfast. We were so utterly disappointed and had a whale watching tour right after breakfast and didn't have time to go anywhere to get real breakfast .. it really set us up for a poor day ahead.
