Excellent facilities, from the room and shared areas to the gym, bars, concierge, general service, pool and overall vibe. It was like a little metropolis. Some issues with traffic build-up at rush hour, hampering taxi access, but that's a Dubai issue everywhere. I'll probably stay there again on my next trip.

The Room was fantastic, however on the 40th floor you cannot use the balcony. Great facilities and very comfortable. The check in was frustrating as we had conversation with the hotel prior to what we would like and at check-in had to go through this all again. Breakfast was brilliant with almost anything you could imagine. Overall excellent hotel with excellent pool and facilities. Traffic outside at night was very congested so if going into town allow 30 minutes more time.

Just left Dubai! This property and staff were world class! Very very nice hotel and the staff even nicer! You can't lose here! Rooms are very spacious as well! A nice lounge on floors 71&72. With one of the best nice clubs in Dubai on the first floor! Happy hour at the pool from 3-6. If i go to Dubai i defentilley would start her again. 8 min drive to mail off Duba and Burj.

Overall i was happy with my stay..room was cleaned regularly. The breakfast was exceptional,The only problem was the bathroom toilet had a heavy urine smell. Ths carpet on the 30th floor outside the elevator smells very bad. Needs shampooing.

The room was always well kept and cleaned twice daily, with free supplies of bottled water and 2 chocolates accompanied by a note wishing you well every night, nice touch. Sunbathing area is vast, during November uninterrupted sun from other buildings 12-3pm. All the staff were courteous and respectful.

This Marriott is close enough to some key sites in Dubai. However, it has the busiest and most chaotic lobby and driveway at all times of day. There are plenty of staff on hand to manage as best as they can, but it felt overwhelming. The hotel room was dated and not at the level of cleanliness I’d expect for a Marriott property. An easy update would be to put in different bedside tables and to update the lighting control. Additionally, at one point the hot water did not work in our room and the hairdryer inconsistently worked. Staff at the pool and French bakery were friendly, but got confused easily and moved slowly.

We stayed on the 44th floor and it was like the ac was broken. They said it was just hot up there because hot air rises, but that just seems silly. I’ve been in high rises before with proper air conditioning on even higher floors. They switched our room and there was a poo stain on the toilet. The staff was very nice and understanding and accommodating, but ew. We slept sweaty each night until they switched our room.

The service is excellent and the staff are exceptional. The property is old and definitely needs maintenance. There was mould in my shower. Also, the location is not ideal. Traffic is crazy and sometimes can take up to 20 minutes to get a taxi.

We had a beautifully large room that had a lovely water view; I took advantage of the gym during my stay - clean and new machines, fridge cold free water at all times; friendly staff and doormen; located close to the Dubai mall / burj. Would recommend and return again!

Have to say overall our stay was very good. The only thing to complain about is that when we asked at the front for a regular taxi we were told by a staff member that there is a lot of traffic and best price is the car in front of hotel. This is a scam as they charged us three times the price. Do not listen to them and get a regular taxi. Very disappointed that a hotel member would be in on a scam like that. Other than that our stay was very good

Upon check-in the hotel staff assured me there were not any king beds available although my reservation was for a king bed non smoking room. They offered me a twin bed instead which I refused. Then they offered me a king bed in the smoking section which I did not want. After all this which last a better part of 20 minutes after I had just got off a plane and was tired they finally said that they have the room that I booked. This room was available the entire time which I'm not sure why they didn't just give me my room and allow me to go up initially instead of lie and try to change me to something I didn't want. The room was not cheap as I paid $600 dollars per night for it and they put me through the ringer trying to preserve the room I paid for through expedia for a walk in on their end which they can up charge and sell for more money. I will not be staying here again as I don't like to feel being taken advantage of or lied to.Will not recommend staying here

Fantastic and very helpful staff. Special appreciation to Alina who served at the bar. Very fast and service oriented and made us feel welcomed during the whole stay. Only setback during my stay was that breakfast rooms were a bit too crowded during rush hours. Second breakfast room could open earlier to prevent this.

Had an excellent stay at the JW Marriott Marquis. The staff, front desk, housekeeping and concierge are exceptional! I felt welcomed and so well taken care of since day 1. Scheduled an airport transfer, used the complimentary mall shuttle bus, tried a few on-site restaurants as well as the rooftop iftar (which was amazing) - everything went wonderful! Will be back to Dubai in December and staying at the JW again. Thank you so much for this experience and making my vacation exceptional.

This is the BEST hotel experience I’ve had in my life! The staff is the best. We met James on arrival who helped open the taxi door, helped with our bags, assisted us to the room. Our entire stay he was always available to help with anything we needed. He advised us about attractions and everything we needed to know. Sylvia at the front desk was warm and inviting. She made sure we got a very good room with views to die for. She was able to answer questions we had. I got a Spa gift for my birthday which was a nice offer. Every single staff member had a smile and always offered help even when we didn’t need it. Dining room staff were nice as well. JW Marriott Marquis Dubai owes us nothing except a trip back.

Its a great hotel. The service of the staff was really great. The pool area and fitness were nice. Its a big place but its not unpleasant. Lot of restaurants in the hotel. Metro is 10 min walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

Great property. The only downsize is the location for getting in and out by vehicle. Not many public transportation options other than Uber, Careem or taxi. However, very bad traffic due to the volume created by the hotel and how narrow the exits are. Took my Uber driver 45 minutes to just get out of the hotel entrance and travel two blocks.

The hotel is nice, the staff offered Kombucha Tea upon arrival. The breakfast at Kitchen 6 had a variety of foods and it was delicious; the brisket burger was outstanding, and chicken tenders were also very good (Lush Burger).

Excellent hotel, a huge range of eating options, everything was very high quality. My only recommendation would be to add a more casual eating option. Not all guests will want to have a fancy meal each night. They did have a burger place, and a sport bar, but I mean something like a deli style option.
