Boa localização, mas falta eleveador no local , e o checkin em outro local dificulta muito a vida do hóspede

Amazing location! Only a few minutes walk from Doge's palace, St Marks, and the water bus stop. The room itself was just okay. A part of the shower door is missing so it doesn't fully enclose?! Water then splashes out on to the bath mat and floor. There is no daily housekeeping but luckily all towels dried overnight. The lighting in the room and bathroom is very dim as well. The check in point was able to store our bags after we checked out as we had an early evening flight. Just beware that there isn't much of a system to this as the holding room is on the ground floor right by the entry and unmanned. You put your bags in there and collect yourself, so feels a bit unsafe as anyone could grab your belongings. Overall an okay stay if you're mainly going to be out and about exploring Venice.

Very hard to find the rooms - it’s a maze. The photos online, whilst technically accurate, don’t entirely reflect the actual result. They are renovating the lobby so access is not the best and almost no space in the lift for people and luggage. Great staff who were very helpful

Ubicación perfecta, buen estado, baño reformado. Tranquilo. Los servicios de entrada, salida y desayuno se realizan en otro hotel muy cercano.

Neu renoviertes Zimmer, wie es scheint in einem normalen Wohnhaus, der Flur war teilweise noch nicht fertig. Es war zwar ein Safe im Zimmer, jedoch war dieser verschlossen und auch nicht im Schrank oder an der Wand verschraubt - somit sinnbefreit. Die Matratzen waren Top, auch neue Fenster. Der TV war aus irgendwelchen Gründen über die Fernbedienung nicht abschaltbar, aber egal,man ist ja nicht zum Fernsehen in Venedig. Super zentrale Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten zum Markusplatz. Check In war im Hotel Lux, 77m entfert - grundsätzlich kein Problem, wenn die Rezeption besetzt gewesen wäre (Ankunft 17 Uhr).

Good hotel, the decor was a bit gaudy. Very comfortable, No kettle for tea making and no iron. Lift bit small.

We had a very nice stay here. Fantastic location just a few minutes walk from St Mark's Square but in a lovely quiet location away from hustle and bustle. The hotel staff were very helpful and our room was comfortable and clean. Use of mini fridge and the lift was also useful. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Venice.

Experiência muito ruim com esse hotel. Inicialmente a recepção era em outro hotel, simplesmente havia uma porta fechada com a indicação do local do check in. Essa forma de check in deveria ter sido informada na reserva para reduzir o tempo de busca e espera. O ar condicionado nao estava funcionando e após o questionamento foi informado q era questões ecológicas e que deveria abrir as janelas para melhorar a temperatura. Veneza estava bem quente e abrimos a Janela porém entrou muitos mosquitos a nos proporcionou um péssima noite de sono. Todas essas informações sobre o não fundamento do ar condicionado deve estar explícita no momento da reserva, pois o valor da diária foi elevada em relação a outros hotéis q ofereciam as mesmas condições Nao recomendo o hotel, pois as informações passadas na reserva não são as que ocorrem no momento da hospedagem

The hotel is quiet with cleanliness, and the breakfast is good. However, a receptionist does it at the hotel of several neighbors not the entrance of the hotel. As there was a poster, there was not the problem.

Floor was wet with a towel laid down from a roof or balcony leak. This caused floor to be peeling with chunks laying around

The hotel scored particularly well with its cleanliness, the extremely friendly and helpful staff and the great location in the immediate vicinity of St Mark's Square - perfect for exploring Venice. However, a few points could be improved: The thin doors and walls make the hotel very noisy, making it easy to hear noise from neighbours. The furnishings are slightly old-fashioned, but still have a certain charm. As there were no vegan breakfast options, we didn't book breakfast. Overall a nice stay - especially recommended for travellers who value a central location and friendly service.

Nice attentive staff, good breakfast. Clean but spartan rooms .... typical small European rooms, tiny difficult shower. Very good location. This was our only trip to Venice so it is difficult to compare. Felt very safe in the area. Location and helpful staff made up for other shortcomings.

The area / location was great! Close to water taxi and walkable to all attractions. Bed is comfy and bathroom is remodeled. The staff was helpful. The rooms do not look like the pictures at all. It says they have air conditioning but they do not , staff stated it had been broken for 60 days. We did ask at booking and they stated they did have A/C. No screens so couldn't open windows. No coffee maker In room or in the lobby of the sister hotel. Would not stay there again.

Très bon séjour Un peu déçu par le côté un peu vétuste de l’hôtel - lourdes tentures dans les chambres tapisserie vieillote meubles de style rococo Bref l’établissement aurait besoin d’un coup de jeunr

Kein Zimmer Service, der mal die Handtücher oder mülleimer gewechselt hat. Das große Bett besteht aus zwei Matratzen, die sich immer verschieben. Zum einchecken muss man zu einem anderen Hotel. Die Lage ist hervorragend, aber man könnte so viel mehr aus den Zimmern rausholen, was schade ist.

Great location but had a few down sides. Air conditioning really wasn’t good, room was constantly hot even with windows open on a cool day of 70 F degrees only at night did it get cold and that’s because the windows were open and it being in the low 60s F. Which in fairness doesn’t really matter because we are out all day. 4/10 The bed basically a brick and it was two twin beds put together to be a queen/full so in the middle of the night the beds would split apart and that was annoying. Blankets were low quality and made of that material that makes you itch. Contrary to beliefs there is a night life in Venice and people are loud walking down the street pretty much until 12-1 AM (not the hotels fault but new windows to help that out) 1/10 Bathroom The shower gets hot you just need to let water run for a bit, very clean. Not too spacious but it gets the job done! 7/10 Fridge Didn’t really work, it took forever to cool. 5/10 Location The most important thing this hotel has going for it is the location. 5 mins from the piazza, downstairs is all the food you could need and if not it’s all within a 10 min walk to anything you need. 10/10 Overall I rate the hotel around high 5 Low 6. The location is the saving factor of this hotel by all means. I would recommend if you are staying for a few days but we stayed 4 nights and thought it was perfect amount given the conditions anymore and your back might be hurting.

The hotel is in a good location as far as convenient, the staff was very accommodating. It is in a courtyard which connects the main strip to an alley and it is heavily used by people. It’s is extremely noisy 24/7. The hotel is in major need of updating. Although beds are ok and comfortable, room is clean and have AC which is great, all the furniture are very old, The balcony iron rod fence was rusted and peeling couldn’t touch it. I would rather stay somewhere else next time.

Rummet var mycket mindre än de lovade 20 kvm. Rummet fint men saknade uttag till att ladda telefoner och annat. Badrummet inte helt fräscht. Sängen för hård och gardinerna inte mörka, blev för ljust på morgonen. Svårt för oss att veta att vi skulle checka in i en annan byggnad, det framgick ingenstans. Luftkonditionering fungerade bra. Fin liten uteterassen. Jätte trevlig och bra personal, superbra frukost! Jätte bra läge.

Staffs are excellent

The hotel is completely shut down, I didn’t received any feedback or response from them. We were outside completely dark during 2 hours, until we were relocated to an appartment which has no lights in the common areas. Worst experience ever, although customer service in Hotels.com helped a lot to solve the situation.

Location was good. Few issues with room, 2 singles beds pushed together as double very uncomfortable. No shower door on shower leaving floor soaking & no room service for fresh towels, difficulty in communicating our issues with staff. Despite this we enjoyed our vacation.

I would give Ca’ San Zaccaria zero stars if I could. My experience with this establishment was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. Despite having paid for two nights in advance, I was denied my stay without a clear explanation or any effort to resolve the situation. As a result, I was left stranded in Venice, forced to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. The customer service was nonexistent, and the lack of professionalism was astonishing. Taking my payment and then refusing me entry—without even an apology—is simply inexcusable. Having stayed at numerous hotels around the world, I have never encountered such disregard for a paying guest. I strongly advise avoiding Ca’ San Zaccaria. There are many other hotels in Venice that offer genuine hospitality and respect for their guests.

We had a couple of issues checking in, but the staff was very attentive and corrected the problem.

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica a due passi da piazza San Marco e dai traghetti, ottima. Camere non tanto grandi ma pulite ..se si vuole segnalare qualcosa mancano le prese di corrente vicino ai comodini. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. zona anche se è centrale molto silenziosa. Da consigliare sicuramente.

Great stay and amazing location on a quiet plaza close to the main attractions. A nice break from the chaos of San Marco. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend and stay here again.

We found the room and bed comfortable. The hotel was wonderfully located near St. Marks, the Grand Canal, and other sites. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Hôtel très bien placé, à 5 minutes de la place st marc. Arrêt bateau juste à côté. Personnel souriant, à l'écoute, parlant français. Propreté impeccable. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Parapluie à disposition si besoin.

Très facile d’accès, à 2 minutes de la place Saint Marc et d’une station de Vaporetto Personnel très chaleureux Petit dej continental très complet Bagagerie gratuite qui nous a permis de profiter de notre dernière journée

Property was in an excellent location on a quiet street, staff was knoweledgablw and very helpful. Rooms could use some updating.( small damge to walls etc...) inluded breakfast that we were carged for and not allowed to decline left something to be desired. All this aside i would recommend this location .

We had a great stay right opposite the Chiesa di San Zaccaria. The front of house staff we’re brilliant and the breakfast buffet was great. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a nice view. The rooms don’t have much additional features, ie iron, kettle etc. but very clean and tidy. Handy location to many great sights.
