Excellent walk to everything and the price was super reasonable. Includes a boutique breakfast and beach towels! There is no early check-in or late-check out and the check-in process was a bit of a hassel, but overall great for the money :-)

Solo trip so wasn't being overly picky. Terrace Room looked just like pictures, except for the terrace. The cozy couch with cushions and drapes, as seen in pictures, doesn't exist. You get a couple wooden chairs with small table and a couple dingy loungers. No sun shade. No privacy on the patio whatsoever, including from the neighboring rooms. Room was fairly quiet. Valet was terrible. $40/day and parked it 4 blocks away, took up to 20 minutes to bring it. Extra miles on the car as well. Staff was friendly. Tea room is TINY! Nice continental breakfast though. Great location to the beach, and a few blocks away from the busy part of Ocean Dr.

Everything was excellent. We were able to safely leave our bags when waiting for check in on day of and flights on our last day. The breakfast room is not only adorable, but offers a perfect start to the morning. The staff was all great and the location was close to the beach and tons of restaurants and the art deco district. Would definitely stay again.

The bed was comfortable, a good location, clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was European continental style (quaint, simple/enough but can get crowded in there quickly), plenty of street parking nearby and overnight parking easily available at 7th street garage. (10 min walk and pretty inexpensive)

Very modern and sleek. Huge room, and felt like an Apt. Had a full kitchen, fridge and dinning table that I never used. Elevator was slower than hell. Kind helpers at the front desk. Would def go back for the price.

Well, the elevator wasn’t working and we were on the third floor. Taking the luggage upstairs was not fun, especially considering our trek from the outside. The room was fine but the note about the dishes not being up to sanitation code was a little alarming. We washed anything before we used it and I’m glad they provided soap. The valet was fine but it takes 15-20 minutes for it to arrive. That’s not really a complaint, more an FYI because it was ultimately more convenient. The pillows for the bed were terrible and gave me an awful neck pain. The location is ideal, very close to beautiful beaches. Didn’t bother with the complimentary breakfast as it was yogurt cups and fruit cocktail. Maybe more, but I didn’t do much more than pop in for a moment. It’s a fine hotel, but bring your own pillows, pack light, and enjoy the outside. It was nice to have a small kitchen available and if we were staying longer would have probably utilized it.

This property was disappointing can I say the least. The front desk person in the morning was rude told us that we could have a hour late check out then called @ 10:50 and changed their mind (another guest service worker in the AM) was not friendly at all…stayed from Friday to Monday in a room with broken air conditioning was reported to front desk 3 days! Dealt with cockroaches a couple of nights in the room! Elevator certification expired 8/2022 and I have a picture of that as well will be calling the city to work on that now…overall I will never stay at this hotel or refer any of my family to this hotel again…

Wonderful staff, easy check in and out. The room was nice in an awesome area. The attentions to detail were lacking, the bathroom was worn and dust in the wall above the sofa. Not to nitpick but it wouldn’t be hard to fix up the room to make it another star.

The property is old with a lot of maintenance issues that should be fixed such as: loose plugs, sink tap loose, paint coming off in the bathroom etc. During your stay they only clean it once. If you want more, you have to pay for it. Inside the fridge was dirty as well. The breakfast is basic and the same every day. Comfortable bed and very close to the beach

We didn't know what to expect when we booked our room. We are so glad we did. The hotel and room was very clean. The staff was very accomodating. We arrived three hours before check in time and they were so nice and gave us an available room right away. They certainly didn't have to do that, but they did it anyways. The whole decor of the hotel is beautiful. The breakfast area is beautifully decorated and the staff was very good. Overall, we had a great experience and will continue to stay at the Blanc Kara every time we visit Miami. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Basically problems I had were that for rate charged facility wasn't anywhere near worth the value. Breakfast was very minimal with no variety or fruit available. They had cereal, milk, coffee, cold meat, bread and toaster. Small pancakes you needed to put in toaster and hard boiled eggs and 1 small yogurt on tables. On second night our A/C leaked from ceiling in bathroom and I requested it to be fixed. They said they fixed and the next night same issue again. We had to change rooms and luckily we had no A/C issues. We did have roach we saw in kitchen in our second room. In general I won't ever stay here again.

Not only was the hotel clean and conveniently located, the customer service was outstanding. I was coming back from Key West and was stranded on US-1/Sound Card Rd area for 5 hours due to a wildfire. The hotel was extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in an hour after their check in time ends. The actual hotel is clean, within walking distance of everything you’d want to do or need in south beach - food, drinks, entertainment, the beach, CVS for essentials, etc. Could not recommend a better place to stay.

What a great place to stay in South Beach! For starters, it was quiet. The room was spacious, the hotel was clean and friendly and well-kept. Easy walk to many places to eat and drink. And a quick walk to the beach. And definitely spring for the private balcony room. I'll be planning my next stay at Blanc Kara.

It’s a nice, quiet hotel in a good location. We stayed in a spacious studio. I did not like the lack of privacy of a ground floor room. Not the best value for the price. But the breakfast is a very good added value to it.

Gorgeous room which was a great size with a huge bed, sofa, kitchenette and bathroom. We opted for one on the second floor with a terrace so it was great to have the opportunity to sit/lay outside. I’ve knocked a point off because breakfast wasn’t served until 08.30 and we like to be up and out early. Also, a very popular bar, Teds, is across the road and whilst the hotel is in a quieter part of South Beach, we were kept awake by revellers on both nights making a lot of noise outside the bar.

The front desk staff was wonderful throughout, and the room was very clean. The bed was ok but coming to the end of life but the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and there was a good volume of coffee, tea and cream/sugar when we arrived and when more was needed the front desk was happy to provide more. The only 2 things that could have improved our experience would have been to have an articulated arm TV mount ass it was not a great angle for watching either from the couch or bed, and to have maybe added a shelf in the bathroom for personal toiletries. On a scale of one to five as high 4.

This property was excellent! It was so unique and so much character, and very much fits the Miami vibe. The room and bathroom was spotless!! It was roomy, had a full kitchenette, and a very comfortable memory foam mattress! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. And as a very special touch they provide a very fancy Victorian style dining experience for the continental breakfast. I normally don’t rate rooms, but this place was top notch! 5 star experience.

Overall, this hotel is good. Nice sized room, great quiet location. Easy walk to the beach or ocean drive. The only complaint is the room central air did not work properly. The air was not blowing out cold air even after adjusting the thermostat. When trying to explain to the front desk about the problem, the excuse told to me 2 different times was that its hot in miami and it takes time to cool. I was there 3days and the room temperature dropped only 3 degrees from 74 to 71 even though I set it at 60. Luckily it was only low 80°out in miami so i was able to deal with that room temperature but if it was really hot out, it wouldve been a big problem. I was put off by the staff's excuse because its obvious the ac just isnt working properly but they dont seem to care to fix it. I found an old review for the same complaint for the same room (110) also, so its clearly not just me.

Did not like the bed whatsoever. Very hard foam style bed. Pillows were very flat and stiff. My body hurt after the first night and ended up sleeping on the couch the second night. Clerk that checked us in wasn't very interested in our questions about the area and simply told us good luck. But it is in a great area and we walked to everything easily.

Great stay. Quiet, clean, and friendly staff. The full kitchen was wonderful to have if you want to do some basic cooking and save some money. The location is wonderful. Stayed for a full week any staff was communicative and responsive. Room was large with a little sofa.

Where do I begin? Our flight landed at 9:00 am, so I called Blanc Kara to see if my mother and I could check in early. Robolso answered the phone and explained that check-out was at 11:00 am, so no rooms were available yet. The front desk person on Sunday morning was not helpful, we felt pressured to leave the hotel as soon as possible, check out time is at 11 early already, could not extend any longer, did not even do a proper check out, not even said goodbye.

I rarely leave a negative review. However, in this case I have to share that my check-in process was extremely flawed. I will not mention names, but the agent continued to enter the cc information provided through an authorization form incorrectly. He continued to tell me “It is not going through”. This situation delayed us significantly with our plans. I personally had to ask if he could read back the cc info but he couldn’t. Therefore, I asked politely for the cc auth form so that I can read back the info to him. Of course, voila cc processed, the agent was not only entering the info wrong but was also charging me for another guest. He did not realize he was accessing a different reservation and not mine. 2 hours later, we enter our room, all seemed worth the hiccup earlier. Here comes the kicker, AC did not work throughout the night. At that point, I decide to stay up all night and just wait to check out in the morning.

Not only was the hotel clean and conveniently located, the customer service was outstanding. I was coming back from Key West and was stranded on US-1/Sound Card Rd area for 5 hours due to a wildfire. The hotel was extremely accommodating and allowed me to check in an hour after their check in time ends. The actual hotel is clean, within walking distance of everything you’d want to do or need in south beach - food, drinks, entertainment, the beach, CVS for essentials, etc. Could not recommend a better place to stay.

What an amazing staff! There are three persons at the reception and they were all so nice and helpful. Always with a nice word and they make your stay extra nice. I couldn't recommend Kara Blanc enough it was great. The place is very cute, not too big but yet it has everything you need. Close to the beach and Ocean Drive which is a plus for those evening walks.

Solo trip so wasn't being overly picky. Terrace Room looked just like pictures, except for the terrace. The cozy couch with cushions and drapes, as seen in pictures, doesn't exist. You get a couple wooden chairs with small table and a couple dingy loungers. No sun shade. No privacy on the patio whatsoever, including from the neighboring rooms. Room was fairly quiet. Valet was terrible. $40/day and parked it 4 blocks away, took up to 20 minutes to bring it. Extra miles on the car as well. Staff was friendly. Tea room is TINY! Nice continental breakfast though. Great location to the beach, and a few blocks away from the busy part of Ocean Dr.

Gorgeous room which was a great size with a huge bed, sofa, kitchenette and bathroom. We opted for one on the second floor with a terrace so it was great to have the opportunity to sit/lay outside. I’ve knocked a point off because breakfast wasn’t served until 08.30 and we like to be up and out early. Also, a very popular bar, Teds, is across the road and whilst the hotel is in a quieter part of South Beach, we were kept awake by revellers on both nights making a lot of noise outside the bar.

Loved the hotel. But messages I sent to the hotel through the Hotels.com website never reached them. So... Blanc Kara is lovely (great location too) but Hotels.com is a problem! The included breakfast, BTW, is really really nice!

A great hotel, well situated. My only minor negative comment would be the small size of the breakfast area which a little cramped. The directors could use part of the reception area during breakfast time. Their choice of course!

I have stayed here before and will be back. This is a special property and staff. There are small details that could be worked on like better breakfast, some amenities, better towels, better air conditioning, and better water pressure - but for the price, size of rooms, and location those details were minor issues.

The staff is wonderful from the front desk to the valet and breakfast workers too. So close to everything. We loved walking. Breakfast is preset. Had all you need but the egg was only cooked hard boiled. Not my choice but I'm sure it works for some. It was def a bonus to have breakfast everyday though. Very satisfied regardless! Our stay was fantastic and we would for sure stay again!

The rooms were nice and I love the fact they had a microwave for someone who never eats all of their food. They do have a stove and supplies if would like to cook and a full fridge. Beds were comfy. Plenty of dining in the area. It is quiet and off the strip. The walk to the main strip is about 5-7 minutes. I will definitely go back again.
