Hotel location was convenient if you are there to be a tourist and explore the area. There is no parking available, which was never stated before I booked hotel and we were charged 50 dollars a day to park at hotel. Over all staff was very friendly. Pool was super gross, merky and had a green tint to it. Also elevators were super sketchy.

Clean room, friendly staff, location is very walkable to lots of other restaurants, bars & attractions. Only downside was one of the elevators was out of order which caused longer than normal wait times when coming & going, but that’s minor in the grand scheme of things.

Staff here were great. Elevators didn’t work and they overcharged us for parking. Location is nice during the week, but some of the nearby businesses will limit hours on the weekend because it’s a business center area. Free breakfast was nice. Workout area is big enough for only a few people at a time.

We stayed at the hotel during six days and during the whole time one of th elevators were closed. Unbelievable that it could not be repaired. The environmental work is low because the use of disposable items e.g. at the breakfast.

Great location 3 minutes bike ride from the whitehouse, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good breakfast 24 hr coffee and evening fresh baked cookies! The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because it’s valet parking only, and it’s terribly expensive with tax $66 nightly.

The good: The hotel is very conveniently located near the White House and not far from the Mall and Metro stop. The free breakfast was great. Staff was nice enough. Room was clean when we got there. Bed was OK. I think the price was good for the area. The not so good: The AC kept stopping. We had to reset it once or twice a day/night when temp would get close to 80 in the room. Told management the first day. Housekeeping only came once during our 5 night stay. The day before we left. They did bring us towels, tp... when needed. Went to the pool once. Nothing fancy. Had it all to ourselves. It was a bit discolored around the sides so a little concerning. We really needed a fridge for the room but couldn't get one. It was noisy outside our window esp the first night and early morning with the garbage trucks, etc. The view out the window was not a good one...dumpsters and building next door. I guess that's the city for you. If we go back it would be because of the location, free breakfast and price. But would try to secure a fridge before arriving.

This property lacked a lot in comparison to other Hampton’s. The bed was rock hard and squeaky. The bathroom walls were splattered and stained. Overall, as someone who stays at Hamptons often, I was not pleased with the room at this particular location. The front desk and valet were very nice and pleasant. The breakfast was horrible. The location was very convenient and easily walkable to most attractions.

The staff were wonderful. Our main issues was the A/C. Our first morning we woke up to A/C not working and we were all sweating. We reported it and they said they would have someone look at it. When we returned that evening, it appeared to be working but then we woke up the next morning sweating again and the room at 79 degrees. Reported it again and they offered to send up the engineer however I asked for another room. The staff moved us immediately which we appreciated. The next room worked fine but that was our last night. The pillows are very flat and mattresses aren’t very comfortable The location is wonderful and access to sightseeing so easy with the metro

Convenient location easy access to buses and metro. Walking distance to the White House. The rooms could do with some updating though, couldn’t locate a mini fridge in the room. The Airconditioner was also quite loud at night. Free breakfast had a variety of choices and was convenient to start the day.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good with easy access to the metro and the mall, but a number of restaurants in the area immediately around the hotel were closed. The elevator was in bad shape and in serious need of repair. It would make loud banging noises during operation and the door would repeatedly refuse to close, making for a long journey from the top floor and long wait for the elevator during busy times. Our room was next to the elevator on the top floor and the banging noises from it woke us up multiple times during the night.

We arrived at 3:00pm, assumed our room would be ready for check in. Our room was NOT ready. Luckily, we had other family we could sit in their room. Our room was not ready until 4:16pm. We had a 6:00pm dinner reservation. One of the elevators was not in service. That made getting up and down extra time. The breakfast was nice and the seating was nice as well. The hotel was nice. The beds are VERY comfortable. It was a nice stay for the price, but could have been alot better.

I was in DC for 3 reasons. The first was to attend the play called Mr Lincoln at Ford' s Theatre. The second was to attend the South Lawn open house at the White House and the third was to visit the newly opened White House Interactive exhibit This hotel was very conveniently located by walking and Metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I accomplished all of this from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. Great trip!

WHILE VISITING DC WITH MY FAMILY I GOT TO THE HOTEL AROUND 3:30PM AND WAS TOLD MY ROOM WAS NOT READY AND I WAS OK WITH THAT , AFTER GOING TO THE COUNTER MULTIPLE TIMES, THEY KEPT TELLING ME THAT THE ROOM WAS STILL NOT READY AND THEY HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH LATE C/O,HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM I DONT KNOW. I WAITED AND AT 5:30 PM I GOT MY KEYS AND ONCE UP TO THE ROOM THE HOUSEKEEPER WAS IN ANOTHER ROOM AND WHEN SHE SAW ME SHE THEN RAN AND FINISH CLEANING THE ROOM.... WILL NOT BOOK AGAIN, (SHOUT OUT TO THE VALET GUYS)

The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Our hairdryer was broken and they immediately replaced it with a new one. Amber, the receptionist, helped us in printing our boarding pass. She was very friendly. The free breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel was very accessible to the tourist spots and public commute. No need to rent a car.

Was not informed that there is no parking. Had to pay 50 dollars for valet parking. I figured it would be free especially since I was a club member Also I was asked if I was a member and did not receive points for staying there. I had ordered food because I had been walking all day site seeing so giving my age I was too tired to go anywhere to eat. the staff did not allow the person delivering my food to drop off at my door so I had to go downstairs to pick it up. I was upset and tired. The next morning after check out. The gentleman checked me out and I was left standing there while he was going through some papers thinking it was my receipt but he ended asking me if I needed something. This whole time I thought I was waiting for him. Instead he made me feel unwanted there. He could have said thank you or do I need a receipt instead I felt like I was an inconvenience.

Have stayed at this property several times and without fail the staff always rolls out a warm welcome and is incredibly helpful. Location is very convenient to metro and major sights. Rooms are clean and comfortable. For the price, you can't beat it.

Can’t beat the location, very close to the White House, the Mall, George Washington University and DuPont Circle. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere. The hotel is starting to show some age and they only clean your room every 4th nite unless you ask (we didn’t). Free breakfast is a great perk, making the price even better. We would def stay again.

Great location for a great price. Staff were all helpful and friendly. They are pet friendly so we got to bring our fur baby with us and they have the Edward R Murrow park just across the street with a sculpture making it a convenient and interesting spot for her am and pm break. We kept her at a nearby daycare when we wanted to go into the museums. Highly recommend them!

This Hampton hotel in the middle of downtown DC was a wonderful choice for my wife and me to stay two nights. The location is perfect for so many reasons. Whether exploring the sites or finding restaurants and shopping, this is the place. The hotel itself is really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. (As far as parking, I recommend you bite the bullet and pay $50/day for the valet. It worked well for us.) The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Good enough to save a few bucks and tide you over till lunch. The only reason I am rating it a four is for two reasons. First, one elevator of the two was out for both our nights stay. This wouldn't be a huge issue if they weren't so necessary. They are necessary because there is a lot of foot traffic and the layout of the floors requires you to use them. Second, the AC was wonky. We went at the end of summer and it was relatively hot, so AC was vital. Well, we woke up both nights sweating because the temp in our room was near 80 degrees. We told the staff and they mentioned something about the AC being motion activated?!? Who knows, but it wasn't convenient having to get up at 2 AM sweating to turn it back on. All things considered, it was a good stay and we will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved our stay. As soon as you walk in you realize you’re in a wonderful hotel. Great customer service from every employee. Clean and Very comfortable room. I asked for a baby crib and although they were put they did provide me with a pack and play. Vallet parking is $50 but super convenient and worth it. Free breakfast was actually good. Lots of variety and flavorful. I highly recommend this hotel. 100 out of 10

It’s a quiet neighbourhood close to the White House. Like much of DC it’s very much a business oriented place and there’s not many shops around. Close to Western Market for quick bite eateries and also easy access to Farragut West and North Metro stations. Small pool but fine for an aqua stretch! Breakfast like many others rather carb heavy. I’d like to see less use of plastic cutlery and also their commitment to reducing single use plastics. Overall I’d be happy to stay again. Very friendly reception staff
