This was just a pit stop for us for the night on our way out to Illinois. Plenty of parking, a gas station next door for easy access to top off the tank before hitting the road again. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. A nice continental breakfast was available by 630a, pastries and coffe is a great way to start the day afterwll. A variety of gas stations, restaurants and stores are available within minutes of the hotel, so that is very convenient too.
This was just a pit stop for us for the night on our way out to Illinois. Plenty of parking, a gas station next door for easy access to top off the tank before hitting the road again. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. A nice continental breakfast was available by 630a, pastries and coffe is a great way to start the day afterwll. A variety of gas stations, restaurants and stores are available within minutes of the hotel, so that is very convenient too.

Clean and comfortable room, bathroom on the small size. Friendly staff and nice cafe in the parking lot. Had to climb 4 stairs to get to our room and we had specifically asked for no stairs because my elderly mother was traveling with us with a walker, no ramp available

It was clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was what one would expect at a budget motel. The one thing people should be aware of -- it is NOT handicapped accessible. There are steps to the front entrance and to/from the parking lot. The staff were very friendly.

People that own this are very nice. It’s a very old property. Needs updating.Slightly musty. All rugs should be ripped out and replaced with LVP. Bed was hard. Not enough pillows. I mean you get what you pay for. It was fine for a one night stay over. Somewhere to rest my head and take a shower. We ate at the restaurant in the same parking lot. The restaurant is very musty and smells like a bathroom but there weren’t a lot options.

Our actual hotel room was fine for the price. The problem was there was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. You had to take a wooden stairway up to room. This was hard for my sister and I (in our 60's with back issues and having to carry luggage up and down)The stairway itself, looked like it needed upkeep. Paint peeling all around exterior of building. The breakfast was meager, so we didn't bother with it. Motel fine for an overnight, but I wouldn't stay there again, myself.

This is a nice, clean budget motel. I LOVE how the stairs and upstairs walkway are enclosed -- this protected us from the extreme wind when we arrived! Basic, but tasty continental breakfast. We got a good nights' sleep - just what we needed. Thank you!

While the room was dated, everything functioned as it should and was comfortable. The check in and check out were quick and interactions with staff were pleasant. There are multiple restaurants and stores in the immediate area. The motel is just off the interstate but far enough that the noise off traffic wasn't an issue.We highly recommended the Yorkshire Motel and won't hesitate to visit again when next in the area and in need of a room.

The people were nice. However, you should be aware this hotel is not just dated. It was very dirty. Trash and stains on carpet, greasy upholstery, stains on towels and mattress, bag over smoke detector in “nonsmoking” room, peeling caulk and mildew, broken faucet, no maid service on 3-night stay. I slept in the bed which seemed clean sheets and bug free, but other than that I tried not to touch anything in there. I’m not sure what rooms other guests are calling clean but they didn’t stay where I stayed. I did not feel safe at night.

The positives: the staff were super friendly. The room was clean. The towels were fluffy. The room was fairly quiet. The negatives: When we opened the door, we were overwhelmed with a damp, musty basement smell. The carpet was damp. A fairly large area of carpet under the air conditioning unit was wet. The beds were not great (but one was better than the other). The bedding on one of the beds was incredibly thin and needed replacement. There was quite a bit of water damage in the bathroom. The bathroom is very cramped. We were startled by squeaking and clanking pipes as someone upstairs took a shower at 11pm. While we had stayed there in the past and had a pleasant experience, we will skip this location in the future.

This hotel was disgusting! There were cigarette holes burned into the mattress pad protector. The mattress pad protector was aged and torn around the edges. There were are so gross yellow stains all over it. Underneath the mattress pad for protector were crumbs of some source. Couldn't tell if it was food crumbs or debris from people's dirty bodies. The room smelled horrible. The bathroom mirror had smears on it from previous occupants. It had not been cleaned. This was the most disgusting hotel room I have been in in a very very long time. We are immediately went back to the front desk and requested a refund. They did give us a refund.

This was a quaint but lovely motel. I spent a single night as I traveled cross country. The gentleman who checked me was able to give me a large room. Check in was easy. The room was large, well decorated, and all of it was functional. The bed was incredibly soft and easy to sleep in. The couch was firm and great for lounging. The only reason i cant give the Yorkshire full marks is due to the strong smell of cigar smoke in my room. If i had been staying longer than a night, i wouldnt have been able to stay in that lovely room. Other than that, it was a great stop and the people in York might be the friendliest i met in all of Nebraska. Would definitely stay again!

We were unable to make it for our stay ............ family problems. When we called, we were afraid they would still charge us for the room because it was later then normal to cancel. The motel did allow us to cancel .............. and we are very thankful for their kindness.

The sheets on my daughters bed were stained with semen so immediately we swapped to sheets we brought from home. The bathroom reeks like mildew and mold. The door to the room was flimsy and appeared to have been kicked in at some point and screwed backed together. The lady at the front desk was rude and treated us like garbage and argued that although the sheets were stained they were clean. Do not stay here. The reviews I read made me think this would be an enjoyable stay and IT WAS NOT!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Our checkin was great! The associate reserves the first floor for seniors, which he had done for us! A couple of steps up, our room was clean & comfortable! AC worked great, shower was hot and relaxing, nice fridge, microwave and ample furniture! Well lit room and very comfortable beds! Great location to a lot of “extras”, businesses and other food options or shopping! Kinda light on continental breakfast, no fruit offered, nothing sugar free, including juice or yogurt!

It was just a less than expected stay. The "breakfast" was bagels from a grocer in a ziplock bag. Seriously, an 18 inch plexiglass box with bagels, and bags of instant oatmeal. The shower had water spraying from the lower spigot. The tv was maybe 24 inches. Just meh.

This was just a pit stop for us for the night on our way out to Illinois. Plenty of parking, a gas station next door for easy access to top off the tank before hitting the road again. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. A nice continental breakfast was available by 630a, pastries and coffe is a great way to start the day afterwll. A variety of gas stations, restaurants and stores are available within minutes of the hotel, so that is very convenient too.

Clean and comfortable room, bathroom on the small size. Friendly staff and nice cafe in the parking lot. Had to climb 4 stairs to get to our room and we had specifically asked for no stairs because my elderly mother was traveling with us with a walker, no ramp available

Moderately priced motel with everything that you need. It’s not a fancy hotel chain—you are paying for the basics, which this motel does well. Room was clean and comfortable, with a fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast had more choices than I expected, with some nicely packaged for “grab and go”. I’d stay here again.

The stellar thing was the staff. Helpful, accommodating, attentive. Bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was reasonable. Room was functional but in need of minor upkeep.
