Overall the room and the hotel and surrounding areas are very nice. You have to pay for parking which is ridiculous with the high price of the room it should be included. The elevator is scary and probably needs some service.

The unreliability of the shuttle service nearly caused us to miss our bus to the Carnival Port. The driver went to Home Depot, even though we had already asked about the shuttle schedule that morning. We ended up having to call both Uber and Lyft (we had a large party). So, instead of receiving the free shuttle service to the airport, that was included in the price of the rooms, we had to pay out of pocket. This was a stressful, unexpected expense and inconvenience.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our bartender, Ari was the sweetest girl, super friendly and attentive. The front desk woman who was on when we first arrived was friendly and helpful as we asked if we could do an early check in and she found us a room. The pool was closed and there was a note on the door explaining that it was closed for maintenance, which was fine and understandable, but it did also say that the hot tub was open. However, when we went in the pool area we found that it was empty so that was closed as well. I really wish it had been open as that was a big aspect that I looked for when booking. But besides that everything else was great, clean rooms and common areas and staff that we felt went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Thank you.

Very nice hotel in walking distance to dinning, shopping and a grocery store. Shuttle to the airport was great. Plenty of seating in the lobby and outside and a nice bar. There is a nice, big, clean, shaded area for smokers also. There is lots of food and drinks that can be purchased in the lobby store, even some Ben & Jerrys ice-cream! Big clean pool and spa. Great safe place to stay and very close to the airport. Comfy beds and pillows. I would stay here again.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the accomodations were clean and comfortable. On-site food options were great - loved the Bistro menu and the bar. Walking distance to a really great public market was perfect for our group. Only tiny frustrations were there was no bathroom fan and the thermostat/AC wasn't steady and required frequent adjustment.Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

I am a bit disappointed. Check in was super easy and the front desk staff was very nice. But when I got to the room, the TV/Wifi connections where broken. The agent that came to the room to try to fix it, was unsuccessful. So we couldn’t connect the tv to wifi so we had to watch basin local channels. The room had ants in the bathroom and around the bed areas. I called down to front desk to report, no one answered the phone. We gave up. So we continued our stay only because we were tired from our trip from Disneyland. The pool and jacuzzi had sand in it. Didn’t look clean at all. Sunday night someone’s car alarm kept going off from late night to early Monday morning when we finally checked out. I normally stay at the hotel every other month. The conditions have gone down. I’m a bit disappointed.

Pluses: Comfortable bed, clean room, new carpet in hall. Close to many restaurants. Minuses: airport noise, neighbor noise and parking charge that was not immediately apparent. A sign is there, but it's easy to miss, and the clerk never said anything. I wouldn't stay here again for those reasons.

This hotel is very conveniently located and we had a generally comfortable stay. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The room was lovely but the thin walls meant an early morning wake up from the kids next door. It would be nice if the restaurant opened before 5:00 but when we did get food it was very good. My biggest problem was that the cell service was spotty and although they offered streaming services on the TV it was impossible to connect. We tried multiple times during our stay and could never get anything to work. So if you're looking to disconnect, this is the place for you.

We were in town for the Indycar Grand Prix and picked this hotel because everything else was booked up. I’ll start by saying the property location was extremely convenient - super close to the airport and walking distance to good food options and retailers. Staff was friendly and accommodating. However, this getting a lower rating because of a few things: 1. We were woken up at 5M on our first night to the sound of dripping. Turns out the ceiling was leaking. We called the front desk and at first they made it seem like they might not able to get us into a new room until I pressed harder for them to. They blamed it on the system being slow and the fact that they were fully booked. After some back and forth, they were able to get us into a new room soon after we got off the phone. 2. The walls are paper thin. We heard everything in the rooms next to us. On our last night the people in the room next to us has their TV blaring past 11PM. Had to complain to the front desk just because it was keeping us up. For as much as we paid for the rooms (close to $400/night) I was really hoping to just have an easy, hassle free stay. Unfortunately, it was not.

I was given a room at the very end. Across from the pool. Exhausted from delayed and a long flight! I just want to rest. Read the room: A room closer to the front or ask if you mind being near the pool.The pool folks finally went on about 10pm. Just as I was finally dosing the folks next door talked intil 2am. Someone was running upstairs, a few times people were in the hallway talking on their phone. The wi fi reception was awful!! You only had 1 bar and that kept going out. The walls are super thin so every sounds is amplified. Looks nice from the outside but....

The lounge was about two minutes from closing and the two servers tried to turn us away, even though we only wanted a glass of wine. They did turn away the couple behind us. These servers weren’t about serving customers; they were about clocking out. It was pretty awful. There was no one else there; it would only have taken them a few minutes to be kind.

The staff was very rude. Didn’t provide us with the room we paid for and said it was what I get for booking through a third party. Finally they gave me a new room which ended up being the room I paid for. If Marriott has an agreement with Expedia their customers shouldn’t have to go through a run around to get what they paid for. I contacted Expedia and got no where. I’m very disappointed with the lack of customer service I received through Marriott and Expedia. Still waiting for some sort of compensation! By the way, this was our first stay at Marriott and our last. Not impressed at all.

Great stay! I generally stay at a different hotel, but was arriving later than normal and was solo. This hotel offered a shuttle from the airport until 10:00 pm. My flight was arriving at 9:30, so I needed that service. I loved this hotel! Every single employee I interacted with was personable and went above and beyond. I’m ditching my other hotel and will be staying here going forward. I visit the area 4 x’s each year. A definite yes for me. I will not hesitate to book here again.

We showed up and they said they “overbooked” the hotel And did not have a room For us, we had to drive all the way back home from LA without a room. The front clerk was non chalant and did not show any care or concern for us . The front door of the lobby was locked with chairs in the way with a sign that said we are full. Had to get their attention to even see us to try to check in for a room we pre paid for

The property was in a great location, right next to the airport with a shuttle to get you to and from the property. With this in mind it was a bit noisy, as we heard the planes take off and land. Although it was a bit noisy, it didn't effect our sleep as the rooms are sound proof. The staff was very nice, and allow us to check in early. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance as well.

I have nothing but phenomenal things to say about this hotel. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was amazing. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect. We could walk to many restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Long Beach area!

It was very clean and looks like recently upgraded. Many dining options across the parking lot within 1 minute walking distance. Large shopping center called the LBX within walking distance with everything you might need. Good for a stop flying in or out of LB but not for easy access to beach and sight seeing.

This property is worth the stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and bar were just what was needed. The Chicken Wings and the Grill Cheese sandwich were excellent. I have never had a better Grilled cheese sandwich. I only wish they had had Chips and a Pickle. Will most definitely stay here again when I am sailing for the Long Beach Port.

My stay and the hotel were fine. Not the most modern but clean and well-situated. I was a little disappointed by the limited hours the cafe was open but there were several eateries across the parking lot which would' ve made up for that had it not been xmas eve/xmas during my stay. The purpose was served for me and i appreciated the kind staff who worked on the holiday.

We enjoyed the location. Lots of restaurants close enough to walk to and several different types. We were hoping for free breakfast but food was offered for a cost. We were not expecting to have to also pay daily for parking. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
