Hotel Petaluma, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The room can’t open window to get fresh air sometimes so stuffy we get headache

Beautiful!!! After flying several hours from Pensacola into San Fransisco, renting a car at the airport, 2.5 hours of horrible stop and go traffic driving to the USCG TRACEN Petaluma unable to take in all of the beautiful wildflowers, flowering shrubs and massive succulents along the way because the traffic sucked that bad, checking into Hotel Petaluma was an absolute breath of fresh air!!! The reception ladies were so sweet and helpful. The attached restaurant The Shuckery was perfect! My Coastie kid was graduating Culinary A-School the next morning. It was nice to see and hear about and experience the importance of Farm-to-Table in the local area. Quick easy drive from the hotel to base. Super cute older historic building in an historic area. Very pretty! No hotel parking but I parked right across the street with no issues at all, very safe area. Very quiet and comfortable nights rest. Elevator stops at thr 4th floor, walking the 10 steps up a cute stairwell to the 5th floor does not bother me whatsoever. But if stairs could be an issue, just make sure to let them know in advance. Easy breezy and beautiful!

Other than the fan not working in the bathroom, everything else was very nice, Staff was pleasant and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the water pressure in the shower was hot and plentiful. The Lobby was very inviting and was a comfortable place to sit in front of the fireplace and enjoy either a drink from the bar or a cup of coffee from the French bakery! Parking further up the street was not an issue at all, they also have valet parking if needed. Check in and checkout were quick and easy. As a Solo female, I felt very welcomed, safe and comfortable! I would stay here again.

The staff at check in are happy and reveals a welcoming stay lies ahead. The great room also offers lots of seating for which guests can have private conversations.

Room was small but clean, coffee in room was nice.
