We enjoyed our stay at El Moro. We enjoyed our spacious suite and the pool area. Pool water was cold. We had 2 meals at the on site restaurant and they both were delicious. We liked being on the Malecon but not in the central zone. We were still able to walk to many places. We also liked the little patio area we had outside of our room.

We love this hotel! The architecture and gardens are beautiful and the staff is friendly. Many hotels especially in the US have become lax with cleaning services and hospitality. It was refreshing to find that the property here was well cared for by kind employees. We were impressed with how well the staff cleaned our room each day, it made our trip comfortable.

This is a lovely property with a small pool with lounge chairs. Our loft suite had a nice view of the bay. The property is walled but you do hear street noise when out of the balcony which is inevitable on the malecon in La Paz. Walkable to town and restaurants with a nice attached restaurant and bakery serving good food. Suite has large fridge, microwave, cook top and all the necessary cookware. Room is provided with 2 1.5 L bottles of water per day. They loaned us beach towels, a cooler and beach umbrella for the week at no charge. Quiet at night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel is very clean. Our room was very small. There was nowhere to unpack your suitcase-nowhere to put clothes. A dresser would be nice, but seriously the room was too small for one. If I had known I wouldn’t have stayed here. It’s pretty far to the main Melecon if you don’t have a car and hard to find a spot down there if you do. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

A small dark cave-like room with no view (window looked out into a common walkway so if you wanted any privacy, you had to keep the curtains closed) and no patio/outdoor seating area. Completely indifferent staff on the reception desk. Pool was murky and green. The icing on the cake: I forgot some very sentimental jewelry in the room, but magically the staff 'never found it.' The best parts of the stay were the cleanliness of the room and the 250-peso drink credit. Otherwise, a dud.

It did not have a mini fridge nor safety lock box which is very inconvenient. The shower head didn’t have any pressure and made the water pour straight down almost running against the wall which made it very difficult to shower. It felt very muggy inside the room There is also no phone in the room to call reception and you only get 1 bag of coffee as courtesy and thereafter there is a charge. even if you’re staying longer than 1 night. We stayed for 5 nights. Will not be coming back nor would I recommend this hotel.

El hotel esta muy bien y bonito, lo unico que no tiene elevador para las personas que tenemos algun impedimento, al llegar hacer check in, le pedi al empleado que si por favor me podia dar una habitacion en el primer piso que que estoy con problemas de rodilla y me cuesta trabajo subir escaleras, a lo cual el empleado se rehuso y me dijo que el hotel estaba a su maxima capacidad y no habia cuartos abajo, lo cual nos dimos cuenta que era totalmente falso.

El Morro is probably my favorite hotel in La Paz. Always a pleasure staying there. Hotel staff are very polite. Pool is nice to relax in after a day at the beach. The malecón walkway is just in front of the hotel. It is about a 3/4 mile walk to where the action is and is very safe walk even late night.

This property exceeded our expectations. The design is unique with a meandering pool which we wished we had more time to enjoy. The staff was helpful and provided us with umbrellas and chairs to take to the beach. Everything was well maintained. We had a kitchen but didn't really use it although we would had we stayed longer.The location is perfect right across from the malecon but it is still quiet. There is a lot to see in La Paz and this hotel is right near it all.

Stayed at El Moro for four nights, our deluxe suit had great AC in the bedroom and living room. Beds were comfortable with plenty pillows and clean sheets. Plenty of hot water in the shower, no delay in getting it to warm up. Friendly staff to help out with any concerns. The hotel is right by the beach boardwalk close to restaurants and 10 minutes away from the city’s downtown area. Would definitely recommend booking your stay here.

Very spacious and quiet room, with nice patio right near pool. Pool was large and luxurious, though shade was a little sparse during the day. Service was great, staff friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants, shopping, etc, though we elected to use taxis a few times when the sun and heat were peaking. Overall a great value and enjoyable stay with zero complaints.
