Hotel is amazing. Staff was extremely helpful in making it memorable, service was very attentive and it was easy being there. Loved the beach access and beach club available to guests. Breakfast was great in the mornings. Will definitely return on our next trip and HIGHLY recommend.

Es un hotel hermoso, con una playita muy cómoda, una alberca limpia y suficiente. El único detalle que nos incomodó (y mucho) fue que el día que bajamos al club de playa no nos dejaron ocupar una tumbona que porque estaba reservada para un grupo de 8 personas, había 2 disponibles. Si eran 8 personas evidentemente no eran huéspedes del hotel, estuvimos una hora en el mar y nunca llegó la supuesta reservación. También tengo que comentar que las bebidas en la alberca eran muy pequeñas, pedimos una cuba libre y el vaso era como de 300 ml. Todo lo demás excelente, encantador y el personal amabilísimo.

Pros: quiet boutique hotel, swimmable beach, spacious suite, free parking Cons: - This was not a 5 star hotel - service was cold and at times it felt like we were annoying the staff if we asked for breakfast or any general questions. When we checked out, instead of asking how our stay was, the front desk clerk told us to wait while they did a security and housekeeping check on our room - I’ve never experienced this and it was an annoying inconvenience. - We had an ocean view suite for $480/night and several things were broken in the room - the steam shower, the ceiling fan, and the ac unit in the bedroom (they had a wall unit in the living room area but it wasn’t powerful enough to sufficiently cool the bedroom on the other side, which meant we had to sleep in a warm room (temps were 74-99). No apologies or offers to make it right, just a text reply to confirm that yes these items are broken. The toilet flush panel broke as well but at least they fixed this. Overall it seems that they’ve let things go over the years. - Beach club was an exaggeration - they had about 8 teepees and it was open to the public as well. Luckily we were there during a quiet week, but I imagine these would fill up quickly during busy season. - No shaded seating by the pool - Included breakfast was a bit of fruit, tiny store-bought stale muffins and a small scoop of yogurt with a teaspoon of granola. We had a car so didn’t spend all day there, but they need to make service and amenity improvements.

La propiedad tiene privacidad y calidad, el personal del hotel es muy atento. Al club de playa le falta ser majorado en instalaciones y servicios, especialmente al cliente, los camastros estaban ocupados con clientes de day pass y nosotros pagamos muy bien como para tener preferencia y exclusividad y tuvimos que esperar varias horas y ni siquiera nos avisaron hasta que seguimos insistiendo.

Amazing hotel to stay in! Location was perfect. The most beautiful beach right on the property. Great food, free continental breakfast everyday, large sized rooms, AC, and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone staying in La Paz!

Es dificil escoger un Hotel en la paz. Tines distintas opciones según la ubicación que prefieras. Creo que esta fue una opcion perfecta si quieres desconectar y huir de la vida nocturna que hay ahora en el Malecon. Estuvimos ahi la Primera noche y se oia fiesta y gente todo el Tpo. Aca estas mas lejos pero en Paz. Tienes vista y acceso directo al mar. Una linda alberca y distintas areas para descanzar y comer. Las camas son excelentes. La TV incluye Netflix y la comida es muy rica. Es limpio y el servicio es excelente. Que mas necesitas? :)

Stunning hotel with a really chill vibe, was a great place for our honeymoon. In La Paz is less touristy than most other areas and we found that not many spoke English, which was cool to experience but hard to navigate… most of the staff were bilingual and excited to help. Room was spotless with an amazing view and cleaned every time we left. Food and drinks were great, best part was how helpful front desk was, just text them on WhatsApp and they’ll help you with literally anything in a few minutes. Overall it is a bit pricey but way better value than a mega resort. Couldn’t recommend enough!

La peor experiencia de mi vida... Nos quedamos en uno de los bungalows, el aire acondicionado goteaba agua sobre la cama en gran cantidad. Desde las 7 AM UN RUIDAJAL por que se ponen a limpiar afuera y NO ESTAN AISLADOS. Todos los alrededores, tenían un tiradero de la obra (andamios, bolsas de cemento, tubos, pintura, botes... etc). Servicio, pésimo, tardaban de 20 a 30 mins. en llevarte una bebida, mala actitud, poca disposición, mala administración, se les perdió un ticket mío de alberca y me pidieron apoyo para volverlo a cubrir, por que se lo cobrarían a la mesera (mismo que pagué, para evitar tal situación). 15 minutos antes de que cerrara el club de playa, ya nos estaban sacando. Tuve una conversación con el gerente para hacer de su conocimiento toda la situación y le mostré fotografías, así mismo otro huesped escuchó y manifestó lo mismo muy molesto. Pedí la devolución de mi saldo a favor para cambiarnos de hotel y me dijeron que por ningún punto se podía ya que había reservado por expedia... me ofrecieron cambiarnos a otra habitación (supuesto mayor nivel) sin embargo, no dejaba de parecer una oficina con ventanas al estacionamiento, con un estilo que no tenía nada que ver con lo que buscábamos (pero no había opción). Su ineficiencia en mi cambio de habitación nos hizo perder una reserva en Azotea y me hicieron un cargo. Hoy casi un mes después me están hostigando con mails y msgs. con que se les olvidó cobrarme no se que cosa cuando yo deje todo liquidado...

The resort is beautiful. It is clean and nice. The rooms are big and very clean. Stuff are not friendly they are rude. The service is very slow. They have no one in the Weather reception or taking care of the facility at night time. So if you have an emergency you will have to figure it out on your own.

Everything about our recent stay here was wonderful. The views, the hospitality, the continental breakfast !YUM! We can’t wait to go back, seriously having withdrawals and we just got back home. We stayed five days, the best! Being able to wake up and walk straight to the beach was lovely.

No apologies or offers to make it right, just a text reply to confirm that yes these items are broken. The toilet flush panel broke as well but at least they fixed this. Overall it seems that they’ve let things go over the years. - Beach club was an exaggeration - they had about 8 teepees and it was open to the public as well. We splurged and booked the presidential suite, it was absolutely gorgeous with incredible panoramic views, it was clean and comfortable. However, apart from that, it’s hard to imagine the staff managing to make our experience worse. The service was slow and we were continuously made to feel like we were an inconvenience to them. I could go into detail on every interaction but there were too many to get into, our friend who was also staying had an identical experience. The property itself is quite pretty. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. The bar and kitchen staff were very friendly and accommodating. BUT...that is where the service quality ends. We went to the bar one evening at 9:30, only to be told that they were closed. The lobby is only staffed starting after 7am, so we weren't able to do a proper checkout. There is no restroom close to the pool or beach club. You have to walk to the lobby or across the parking lot. There does not seem to be any concierge or other service available to book tours or other activities. The rooms do not have irons, so you have to request one from housekeeping. But, the thing that REALLY annoyed me, was that they charged me 600 pesos in "damages" because one of the bath towels was dirty. I found this to be ridiculous. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel. I found that for the price, the services were minimal. I expected better.

En general es un buen hotel, las habitaciones son lindas y las vistas valen mucho la pena. El personal de recepcion es amable. Los meseros son un poco lentos en atender, y a veces confunden ordenes. El bar de playa es un poco lento de igual manera. Pueden mejorar su equipo de gimnasio, mantener el aire acondicionado prendido seria de gran ayuda tambien. El servicio de taxi que ofrece el hotel es caro, ya que se llevan una comision por servicio. Si tienen la opcion, usen indrive o didi, que es lo que mas se usa en este lugar. A menos que esten cortos de tiempo. El menu del restaurante es limitado pero es rico.

Stunning hotel with a really chill vibe, was a great place for our honeymoon. In La Paz is less touristy than most other areas and we found that not many spoke English, which was cool to experience but hard to navigate… most of the staff were bilingual and excited to help. Room was spotless with an amazing view and cleaned every time we left. Food and drinks were great, best part was how helpful front desk was, just text them on WhatsApp and they’ll help you with literally anything in a few minutes. Overall it is a bit pricey but way better value than a mega resort. Couldn’t recommend enough!

El hotel es lindo, las habitaciones limpias, pero el servicio de verdad es TERRIBLE, muy lento, te llevan las cosas por partes, nos teníamos que levantar de la mesa por cucharas, servilletas, etc, terminaban de comer mis amigos y apenas les iban llevando el platillo al resto. En general, su servicio del restaurante tanto en hotel, alberca y playa es sumamente malo. Adicional a eso, me hicieron un cargo duplicado que solucione directamente con mi banco.

The resort is beautiful. It is clean and nice. The rooms are big and very clean. Stuff are not friendly they are rude. The service is very slow. They have no one in the Weather reception or taking care of the facility at night time. So if you have an emergency you will have to figure it out on your own.

Es dificil escoger un Hotel en la paz. Tines distintas opciones según la ubicación que prefieras. Creo que esta fue una opcion perfecta si quieres desconectar y huir de la vida nocturna que hay ahora en el Malecon. Estuvimos ahi la Primera noche y se oia fiesta y gente todo el Tpo. Aca estas mas lejos pero en Paz. Tienes vista y acceso directo al mar. Una linda alberca y distintas areas para descanzar y comer. Las camas son excelentes. La TV incluye Netflix y la comida es muy rica. Es limpio y el servicio es excelente. Que mas necesitas? :)

ok- I put walkable- it is 2 miles into town. But it is a very nice walk. The town has done an unbelievable job creating this long path into town. The property was great. They know how to make good cocktails! Lastly, this could be the best town I have ever been too... not in Mexico... anywhere. Safe, clean, laid back. Truly a wonderful place with great people!

Everything about our recent stay here was wonderful. The views, the hospitality, the continental breakfast !YUM! We can’t wait to go back, seriously having withdrawals and we just got back home. We stayed five days, the best! Being able to wake up and walk straight to the beach was lovely.

Es un hotel caro y el servicio no es acorde. El personal, aunque muy amable, parece poco capacitado, distraído. En varias ocasiones tuvimos que pasar por recepción a firmar cuentas de cosas que habíamos consumido y no nos pudieron cobrar a tiempo por diferentes razones atribuibles al hotel. Se les termina el café a la hora del desayuno, por ejemplo. En cuanto a alimentos, el desayuno es apenas correcto, lo único que comimos en el beach club no estaba muy bueno tampoco. Los muebles son incómodos (enormes mesas y sillas en la terraza común, sillas de la terraza privada de la habitación), el agua de la regadera era muy difícil de regular. Pedimos hacer un early check in y nos sorprendió su nula flexibilidad, indicando que tendríamos que pagar 400 pesos por hora. Eso no es de un hotel del precio que tiene Orchid House. Por último, no es muy cómodo que el hotel esté lleno de personas que lo usan con day passes, justamente una de las ventajas de quedarse en un hotel de alta gama es el sentido de la privacidad que no tuvimos.

Es un hotel hermoso, con una playita muy cómoda, una alberca limpia y suficiente. El único detalle que nos incomodó (y mucho) fue que el día que bajamos al club de playa no nos dejaron ocupar una tumbona que porque estaba reservada para un grupo de 8 personas, había 2 disponibles. Si eran 8 personas evidentemente no eran huéspedes del hotel, estuvimos una hora en el mar y nunca llegó la supuesta reservación. También tengo que comentar que las bebidas en la alberca eran muy pequeñas, pedimos una cuba libre y el vaso era como de 300 ml. Todo lo demás excelente, encantador y el personal amabilísimo.

When we checked out, instead of asking how our stay was, the front desk clerk told us to wait while they did a security and housekeeping check on our room - I’ve never experienced this and it was an annoying inconvenience. - We had an ocean view suite for $480/night and several things were broken in the room - the steam shower, the ceiling fan, and the ac unit in the bedroom (they had a wall unit in the living room area but it wasn’t powerful enough to sufficiently cool the bedroom on the other side, which meant we had to sleep in a warm room (temps were 74-99). No apologies or offers to make it right, just a text reply to confirm that yes these items are broken. The toilet flush panel broke as well but at least they fixed this. Overall it seems that they’ve let things go over the years. - Beach club was an exaggeration - they had about 8 teepees and it was open to the public as well. Luckily we were there during a quiet week, but I imagine these would fill up quickly during busy season. - No shaded seating by the pool - Included breakfast was a bit of fruit, tiny store-bought stale muffins and a small scoop of yogurt with a teaspoon of granola. We had a car so didn’t spend all day there, but they need to make service and amenity improvements.

Amazing hotel to stay in! Location was perfect. The most beautiful beach right on the property. Great food, free continental breakfast everyday, large sized rooms, AC, and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone staying in La Paz!

We stayed in the bungalow which was better than the pictures however, it is very close to the road meaning you can hear the trailers and cars all night. Also housekeeping didn’t come in at all. Staff is very kind and helpful. The food/ drinks were okay but, pricey. The room also included a stocked mini fridge that we enjoyed.
