We booked this hotel to use the pool and restaurant while awaiting an early morning flight home. However, upon arrival we were informed that the pool and amenities were closed for a private party. They initially advised us to go to the mall, which was closed, meaning we had to stay in our room which was filthy. After we asked for compensation we were upgraded to a nicer cleaner room with a complimentary fruit tray and dinner. Front desk staff were very apologetic and professional.

Location to airport great but by no means is the hotel 5 star!!! Barely 2-3 maximum. Very dated. Dirty. Carpets in rooms not cleaned in a while. BEDS…. Hard as a rock and worst sleep ever. Roof top pool pictures you see where probably from when it first opened…. Now it’s awful and very dirty. The adjoining mall closed down after Covid so nothing is open apart from a movie theater and a cafe.

It's a very dated hotel and I fail to see how it received more than 2 stars. I wouldn't not recommend this place at all. Firstly the signage is virtually non existent and although it's close to the airport as the crow flies, it's a long drive through some pretty rough places. The service at the restaurant is shocking and the rooftop terrace is the worst I've ever seen. They must have employed a very creative photographer. I asked about an airport shuttle and was told to book a cab. There are much better and safer airport hotels nearby who offer a shuttle service.

The room was dirty, carpet & bathroom. Had to call the front desk 5 times before they decided we were right the air conditioning not working. Had to check out at 3am and it took them till 11pm to switch us to a room with working air.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful, going the extra mile in helping my husband get around in his wheelchair. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room was spotless and quite lovely. What a wonderful introduction to Egypt!

The hotel is dated and the area around it looks like a bomb site with stray dogs and closed or half finished buildings. The hotel did what I wanted which was to offer a clean room and the breakfast was very good.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel despite being skeptical at first. The rooms are big, spacious and most importantly very clean. The beds and bedsheets are super comfortable so that was a plus! While the hotel is old it seems to be properly maintained and the staff are very very friendly. Breakfast choices are limited but they offer different types to basically suit all customers. If you are looking for a hotel close by to the airport this is in my opinion the best option in terms of value by far I've previously stayed at the Novotel hotel next to the airport and the rooms were depressing, dirty and smelled like an ashtray. Also the amenities provided are fantastic! Loofahs, body lotion, conditioner, slippers, blow dryer - you name it!

The staff were very pleasant and accommdating. However, this was far from a 4 star hotel. Room was very dated/old and also quite dirty. Even after doing my check for bed bugs, I noticed that under the bedd had not been cleaned in awhile. Also the chairs in the room were VERY dusty.

Room was not clean after being told to wait an hour while they cleaned our room. Bathtub had hair in the tub, asked them to clean it while we went out to lunch. Came back and the hair was still not cleaned. The carpet had paper on the floor, did not appear like it had been vacuumed. Things look fancy on the outside, then you see dust, lint and fingerprints on every surface. One guy came barging in to our room unannounced bc we didn’t have water, after we just had water delivered. You are also in a secluded area with the mall attached but nothing in the mall was opened. The restaurant in the hotel was not great. They have limited options and it’s very inconsistent. Two exact meals tasted completely different.

this hotel is fine for an overnight stay if all you need is a bed before catching an early morning flight. the rooms are large and clean with good air con. as others have notes, the surrounding area is pretty grim (incl a defunct mall by the highway). the breakfast offerings are also not great - we walked 15 mins to the closest shop to grab a bun/bagel instead. take it for what it is - a cheap bed close to the airport before catching a flight.

Mostly everything was great, EXCEPT: I planned breakfast to be sent to at 6:30am as they said they could, 6:55am arrived and I was being picked up at 7am still no breakfast. Called to cancel it as I no longer had time. Went to reception to check out and at 7:05 whilst I was waiting for my tour, they bring me breakfast at reception!! The worst part is that I managed to have a sip of coffee and a pastry and they charged me for the whole thing. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

The hotel is very small, yet the service isn't great, they also hire their restaurant hall for private events where all staff are busy serving that. the breakfast was very low quality and not enough staff were present to handle the orders from the guests. They had only one staff, taking orders, making coffee, delivering food to rooms, and taking calls, so to get coffee and breakfast you would wait at least 40 minutes. Generally, it is not a good value for money to stay there so I would avoid staying there in the future.

You get what you pay for, I paid $88 CAD a night. Considering the price being cheaper than most hotels in the area this was a good stay however if I had paid $150 CAD a night I would expect a little more cleanliness in the room as in sheets and pillows and such and a working air conditioner/heater. However there is security and for the most part the hotel can be considered safe, and the service good but the surrounding area is torn buildings and an abandoned mall. There is nothing nearby but it is close to the airport if that’s something you value.

Early check-in was $40 usd even though the property looked pretty vacant. Reception was nice enough to keep our luggage though, very friendly staff. Not much to do in the area , we just wanted to spend the night so was pretty convenient as it's very close to the airport.

I stayed here this Week. A FABULOUS Hotel! The Staff are AMAZING!!!! I can not remember all the names, but Mohammed, Ali, Mahmood, and I think Marian (The Lady on Reception)- all come to Mind! ALL of the Staff here are AMAZING! They can not do enough for you! The food is EXCELLENT! As is the Service! I would stay here again TOMORROW- it is that good! I absolutely LOVED IT HERE!
