Great location in the Latin Quarter. On a small street, which actually got kind of noisy in the evening, so a room on a higher floor may be quieter. The room itself was a very nice size, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great, lots of hot water. There was nice carafe of water in the room when I checked in, along with a couple of nice chocolates on the pillow! There is an elevator in the hotel, but it does require you to go up a couple of steps to get to it but it's not too bad. Everyone that I had dealings with there was very pleasant and helpful. If you take the RER to or from the airport, you can access it a half a block away, Rue Xavier Privas (I think is the street) and this entry has an elevator that makes it easier to transport luggage up and down to the train. I can totally recommend this hotel, a lovely spot for a reasonable price.

Lovely small hotel within spitting distance of the Saint Michel fountain but on a pedestrian side street so lovely and quiet. Really nice room, air con (c.34° when we were in Paris) was fabulous and nicely appointed bathroom. Perfect for our 1 night layover

This hotel was difficult to find with our Uber since it’s in a pedestrian only street. At first they gave is the tiniest room ever although we paid $375 for one night, and there were narrow winding stairs to go up to get to the elevator and our room. We travel to EU a lot, but this was by far the smallest room. They gave us a slightly better room, but it was still tiny. The night manager was sweet and brought fresh croissants and made us coffee, but the breakfast was very minimal. This was our last night in Paris after spending 5 nights near the Eiffel Tower and 5 in Nice, so it was disappointing

If you are looking for a perfect location in the Latin Quarter, this is it. The restaurant next door is great and so close. Very quiet Now as to why I only chose 3 stars. Staff was very welcoming and accomodating. However, I booked 5 identical rooms for multiple family members. Besides being a couple all the other 4 rooms were single adults. The reason I say this is that the room I was given was tight for 2 people versus the one for my sister with added seating area space. It was a crazy busy trip and only stayed here 2 days. TV's did not work in 2 rooms and 1 for my brother did not have one. Banister on stairway loose, almost fell. Key cards quite working. Blow dryer barely worked on cool setting, niece requested one from the front desk. I mention these things, as all minor and we weren't in our rooms long enough to matter. But all of these things start to add up and are really an easy fix. Family was satisfied, I being the tour guide was not. felt it reflected on me for choosing. would I stay again, absolutely, but would not take the small room knowing there are larger ones for a couple.

Spent 6 nights at Le Clos de Notre-Dame, and really enjoyed it. It is a small boutique hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Close to major attractions and the metro. For the location and what you get I found it great value for money. The room was cute, a bit on the smaller side, but I have stayed in much smaller rooms in other cities. The room was comfortable, but you are staying here more to enjoy and explore the city, and the hotel delivers on that.

We were assigned the room in the very first floor. It was advertised as being the biggest room they have which we appreciated. However, we were a little concerned about the noise in the lobby, late night check ins or noise from the queer bar right across the small alley. Our window was facing the bar. Thankfully, my husband and I slept with a white noise machine to block any potential noise. The carpet could’ve used some vacuuming. Although the bathroom was huge, it is a handicap bathroom so no shower. The whole bathroom was wet. From outside the hotel looks nice but very plain when you walk in. The pros, plenty of nearby restaurants, they arranged taxi service for me, we only stayed one night, and they had a wonderful seasonal market steps away from the hotel.

Le positif: Hotel situé dans un très beau quartier. L’hôtel est propre, le personnel est accueillant et le lit est confortable. Le petit déjeuner est correct au vu du prix. Le négatif: Le bureau est assez petit donc un peu compliqué de travailler. Il y avait également une mauvaise odeur d’égout qui viens de la douche.

Besides been in a good location , having many places to eat and a clean , but small rooms expected for Paris , friendly staff, the rooms in this hotel have a Pub right in front of the rooms so is very loud , people smoking outside screaming .. horrible … just for this I would not recommend this hotel, besides that very well located, metro near by .

Such a lovely hotel, in a brilliant location. The service was exceptional from start to finish, with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms, and the beds in particular, were extremely comfortable, offering a perfect retreat after a busy day in Paris. Being so centrally located, it was easy to walk to many of Paris’ iconic sights and to a great selection of restaurants, yet the hotel itself remained a peaceful and relaxing haven. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely hotel, in a brilliant location. The service was exceptional from start to finish, with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms, and the beds in particular, were extremely comfortable, offering a perfect retreat after a busy day in Paris. Being so centrally located, it was easy to walk to many of Paris’ iconic sights and to a great selection of restaurants, yet the hotel itself remained a peaceful and relaxing haven. Highly recommended.

Great location. A bit rich to offer to charge us £38 to check into the room before 2pm, even though the room was ready when we arrived early. This felt like exploiting the situation to make more money from hot, weary tourists

Great location in the Latin Quarter. On a small street, which actually got kind of noisy in the evening, so a room on a higher floor may be quieter. The room itself was a very nice size, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great, lots of hot water. There was nice carafe of water in the room when I checked in, along with a couple of nice chocolates on the pillow! There is an elevator in the hotel, but it does require you to go up a couple of steps to get to it but it's not too bad. Everyone that I had dealings with there was very pleasant and helpful. If you take the RER to or from the airport, you can access it a half a block away, Rue Xavier Privas (I think is the street) and this entry has an elevator that makes it easier to transport luggage up and down to the train. I can totally recommend this hotel, a lovely spot for a reasonable price.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — very central and convenient for exploring Paris. The rooms and the overall cleanliness was truly impressive. This hotel was difficult to find with our Uber since it’s in a pedestrian only street. At first they gave is the tiniest room ever although we paid $375 for one night, and there were narrow winding stairs to go up to get to the elevator and our room. We travel to EU a lot, but this was by far the smallest room. They gave us a slightly better room, but it was still tiny. The night manager was sweet and brought fresh croissants and made us coffee, but the breakfast was very minimal. This was our last night in Paris after spending 5 nights near the Eiffel Tower and 5 in Nice, so it was disappointing

Small but lovely hotel. This is a great spot to stay. Close to the subway (Metro) and easy access to all the wonders of Paris. Short walk to the Louvre and Notre Dam. Great Italian restaurant next to the hotel and great restaurants in the area. We would recommend this hotel! Lovely staff.

Det var et super hyggligt hotel, små værelser, men alt hvad vi havde brug for. Måske den mest centrale beliggenhed i Paris, men i en lille sidegade, så der var ingen larm Vi tilkøbte morgenmad, og der var meget at vælge mellem på buffetten, men det kneb for personalet at supplere, når der manglede noget. Mælken til kaffen blev sur af at stå ude, og der var kun grøn te, ikke almindelig te (een af morgenerne). Så de skal lige hanke lidt op i morgenmadsrutinerne.

Love this hotel. Its in a brilliant location close to the Seine and Notre Dame. Loads of lovely places around to find nice eats and drinks. The street itself is super quite and the hotel is lovely. The staff are supper helpful and the rooms are unique. Would stay again and again!

The Italian restaurant right next door is fabulous. Hotel is priced well, some interesting history (find the well and secret passage way)! Cons: loud from street below at night, lobby is very small and not comfortable, the rooms were the smallest I’ve experienced yet but some good storage options on windows sills and closet. THE STAFFF WAS VERY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY. THE STREET WAS FULL OF TRASH EVEN AFTER THE PILES OF TRASH AT THE END OF THE STREET WERE PICKED UP ON WEDNESDAY. THE BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME! I WOULD HAVE LIKED THE ROOM BETTER IF THE KLEENEX WAS STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BATHRROM SHELF. DID NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH SPACE FOR 2 GUEST'S TOILETRIES. i WILL STAY HERE AGAIN.

An amazing location. Rooms small but that’s Paris. Had a very nice full size bed and modern bathroom. I found the property looked a little tired and not just because it’s in a 500 year old building. Carpet dirty etc. Had breakfast 1 day out of 5 and it is reasonable but with so many restaurants and bakery’s at your doorstep why would you. Overlooked cleaning our room 1 day and few little things that I would rate it 3/4 not 5

We had a great stay at the Hotel Clos de Notre Dame. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The decor was tasteful. The hotel is in a great location. Shops, restaurants and metro within 2 mins walk. Notre Dame is 5 mins.walk. Will stay here again.
