Perfect for our one night stay as we were able to walk to the Jervois Road Wine Bar where we wanted to go. Recommend checking out their live music. Such a vibe. Plus it’s easy to walk home from the other nightlife of Ponsonby Road. Very nice room. Small but ideal for two. Clean with a small kitchenette which we never used. Good shower. Comfy bed. Off street parking. And cheap!

Great location. This hotel is right in the middle of the Ponsoby neighborhood so there are plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants within a quick walk and the inner loop bus stop is only steps away. Downtown is a quick scooter ride away. Some rooms have a great view of the down town skyline. Check in and check out were a super quick and easy. Rooms are well-equipped. Inclusive parking is a huge bonus in this neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean, comfortable and well equipt. Comfy bed and lovely shower. Sky tv that actually works and gives you a good selection! Can be a bit trivky getting in and out of the car park on such a busy road. Was surprised just how quiet tge room was.

There are two restaurants right across the street, a convenience store attached to a gas station close by. We ate at an amazing Thai place Onzon de 5 mins walk away. (Highly recommend) free parking off street was fantastic. Check in and check out super simple. Air conditioner was great and quiet. Loved that there was a microwave and fridge and dishes ect. The room is a bit worn but super clean and the bed was comfortable. I have no complaints! The price was perfect. The shower was fantastic. I’d come again.

We liked the neighborhood Ponsonby a lot, full of cafes shops and restos and lovely views. The room was small but sufficient, and set up as a longer term rental with dishes and cutlery, small fridge and microwave, bathroom toiletries, etc. Large tv as well with Netflix and other media. However, not so clean dark brown carpet and no other colour or design made the room look a little dowdy. Needs a refresh and a better mattress. But the sheets were clean, towels fresh and a decent price for a more upscale neighborhood.

Very clean and tidy, easy check-in and comfortable room, not huge but well set up. Surprisingly quiet, given the location on a fairly busy road. Access to shops, restaurants and everything you need is extremely close, easy walk to eateries and coffee shops. A very pleasant stay.

Really nice, modern, apartment within walking distance to the city centre. Lots of options nearby for food/drinks/shopping etc. Staff are attentive and happy to provide anything you need. Good wifi and smart tv services. Would definitely stay again.

Rummet var litet men väl disponerat och uppfyllde absolut våra förväntningar. Det var perfekt för att stanna en kortare period (tre nätter) som vi gjorde. Sheryl i receptionen var väldigt hjälpsam när vi inväntade våra väskor som varit försenade, hon gjorde verkligen det lilla extra för oss. Det uppskattades.

Very friendly helpful staff. Our upstairs room was light and airy and it was good to be able to open the windows. The view was great and the sun poured in early morning. A friend had a health incident while trying to visit my husband and the staff were very helpful in msnaging a crisis.

Turned up to check in and was previously told if i was a bit late the key would be left at reception. I arrived at 2pm and took the key as discussed as noone was in the office. I parked outside my room and was approached by maybe the maintenance man. He asked if i was Teresa and i said yes he then said i need to pay first. I had already paid but he said thats not what he was told and made me feel really uncomfirtable as he kept saying öh yea"i then showed him my payment on my banking app to prove i had paid and he said i got it too cheap. There was no milk in the fridge as i thought there may be as usually motels supply the bare essentials. It was a nice room and i would stay again just a first bad experience. Didnt see anyone else working there so dropped key in pocket when we checked out.

We had a wonderful stay at Abaco on Jervois. Sheryl helped us arrange an early check-in, which was so nice after a long flight. The room had everything we needed and we loved the energy saving features. Parking was so convenient and we could easily walk to Ponsonby to get dinner. Highly recommend!

Always come back to Abaco when staying in Auckland. Sheryl and the team are beyond friendly, the are fabulous. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and the location cannot be beaten - easy walk to shopping, cafes and restaurants , or onsite parking if you have a car. Great stay as always. Our two night stay at Abaco on Jervois was easy and comfortable. The Ponsonby location was ideal - free parking for our rental car with many dining and shopping options within short walking distance. We’ll book again on our next visit to Auckland.

Check in was a breeze. The hotel is in a fantastic location, a short walk to everything Ponsonby has to offer. The room itself was small but had everything the 4 of us required. The only issue we had was a front door that was very hard to open, so much so our 13 year old couldn’t open it. Gotta love free parking and the 1 min drive to get on the motorway north. We will be back!

Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, eine Renovierung wäre dringend nötig, sofern der vier Sterne Standard weiter ausgewiesen werden soll. Aufgrund des verwohnten Zustand und des fehlenden Frühstückangebotes würde ich maximal zwei Sterne vergeben. Maximal einen Dritten, für die Badewanne mit Whirlpool.
