It was a fall weekend, but we got to enjoy the pool (the owners even cleaned the leaves and brought out fresh towels). The outdoor seating was great to hang out in between walking downtown. Rooms were clean and upkept.

The Admiral is a top-tier Lake George motel. It's conveniently located, quite well-kept and the staff is very friendly and attentive. For the most part, very neat and clean all around. Convenient to most things in Lake George village, good walk to nearly everything. A nice room, comfortable beds. Is across the street from the lake so no Lake access. Also no breakfast, restaurant, fitness center, or any of those kind of things on site.

We always stay at the Admiral when we go to Lake George. We have always found it to be clean and comfortable. This time the bedspread was stained when we arrived,( It got replaced) and the room was so musty that I had to keep my clothes in the car. (I noticed that my jacket picked up the musty odor). We know the units are shut up over the winter, so the smell was understandable, we got some air freshener at the store to help. We will stay there again though.

Exceeded expectations! We were greeted at the front by the most kind staff, and when we got to our room it was clear that the place is professionally maintained and very clean. We really loved our stay and it’s in the perfect location so we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Will definitely come back here again!

Needs serious updating, mosquitoes in the room, humid and smelly. Black mold on ceiling in bathroom. Hardly enough parking. No shampoo, only conditioner. Found a dog hair on my pillow. No one in the office.

Although a little dated, beds were comfortable, linens clean. The clothes rack was inconvenient as we could not hang things because the refrigerator was beneath it and blocked vertical space. There was some noise coming from trucks delivering to buildings behind us. Also we did not get a chance to try the pool as the weather was not cooperating when we were there. But definitely worth the cost.

The place was quaint and the owner friendly. I went to go to my room and was surprised to see my door open and a painter outside doing the edging around the doors. (Strange to give me a room that is being worked on.) First impressions: floor was pretty stain ridden, Wi-Fi is extremely intermittent, TV is extremely slow to change a channel. I needed to get some sleep in order to get up early the next morning. No such luck. The walls are pretty thin, and I had a group next to me with only one volume setting…LOUD. After repeated pounding on the wall, I finally got them to shut up around 2:30. Needless to say, I was pretty tired the next morning.

Cute place, clean, good location. Took several minutes of running the water to get warm/hot water and the shower water pressure was terrible, room #22. I didn’t bother washing my hair because I don’t think there was enough water pressure to rinse the shampoo out! Other than that everything was fine.

We had a wonderful stay at The Admiral Motel and really appreciated how walkable the town of Lake George was from the location. Very nice, clean, modern, however I enjoy having a microwave and an Iron to make things easier, also small closet with few hangers for clothes, no food or drink available. Having a freezer above fridge is great, also fantastic having a decent tv with a guide and free on demand, for shoes and movies, Upon checking in the office and lobby smelt great, got that comfortable home vibe.

I was very pleased with my short stay at Admiral Motel. The location is excellent, and I was able to walk to several restaurants in under 10 minutes. The lake is also right across the street, and you can enjoy beautiful views at the park nearby. My favorite amenity was the pool-- it is large, goes to 8 ft deep, and I had it all to myself this morning. I met the manager poolside and he was very gracious. I highly recommend this property for a convenient and simple stay.

Absolutely loved the place. It’s very clean. Room is a bit dated but super clean and very cute. Parking was easy. Staff is friendly. Location is perfect for a trip to Lake George.
