I would definitely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn when visiting Duke University! The staff was kind, our room was upgraded to a suite, breakfast was yummy and there were dining places nearby. We were happily surprised that they offered free shuttle within a 5 mile radius and we did not bring a car!

We just a one night stay, we attended a show at DPAC and chose to get a room relatively closeby. The amenities we did use, fitness room and pool, were decent. The digital key system was down for access to the room so check-in was more difficult than it could have been. It was not an issue that affected the enjoyment of our stay.

Clean. Quiet, convenient to Duke University Hospital. Unfortunately the shuttle was unavailable during my stay. The restaurant staff was great and the food was very good. Would recommend

Walking distance from at least one good restaurant. Quiet area, easy parking, restaurant in the lobby which is so convenient and the food is so good. Bed is comfortable but they didn't provide a floor bath mat and the iron board cover was just fabric with absolutely no foam or cushion. smh

The staff was very nice and accommodating; all pleasure! Made our stay enjoyable. The shower was old and bathroom could have been a little cleaner. One of the beds squeaked anytime you moved so at night when it was really quiet it was really annoying and uncomfortable bc felt like couldn’t move . The food was really good for breakfast and dinner. We’d stay again bc overall hotel was nice and the staff was great.

This hotel is clean, but very dated. From carpets that feel like they have been cleaned so many times that the carpet fibers are coated in plastic to the mattress with uneven support, serious upgrades are warranted. In addition the walls provide a minimal barrier to sound.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights while moving our son into an apartment before he started grad school. The location was perfect for us right near his apartment. The staff were friendly and competent. The room was clean, well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. Great shopping/restaurants all in walking distance.

The property was very tired. Needing a complete refurbishment. Shortage of staff in dining room which resulted at breakfast of tables being left dirty with dirty crockery and food left on them. Only one waitress who was excellent but could not cope
