We stayed here for our family Christmas. We got a room with a king sized bed and a living room with an extra area with fridge, microwave, and sink. It worked absolutely perfect for us all to congregate in our room. Very comfortable for our small family of 9. I saved some money on meals as I was able to bring food that we could store and prepare in the room. The pool and hot tub were clean and we had a blast down there. Very good breakfast, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was kept clean and tidy. We were very happy with our stay here.

In Grand Forks for business. Hotel has basic amenities that I needed like a basic gym and free breakfast and all day coffee. Staff was super kind, efficient and genuine. Anytime I purchased anything from the front desk, the staff was so nice. Even at check out and check in. Honestly, the staff was the best part of my stay. I didn’t have a car, but there was a lot of parking available in the lot and well lit. Everything was clean and clearly maintained. I’ll definitely come back here if I find myself in Grand Forks again.

Clean except the shower could use a deep clean inside and out. The shower head needs repair as well as the sink faucet needs to be fixed or replaced the hot water is a trickle. When you try to shut the water off hot or cold you have to make sure the handle is just in the right spot otherwise it drips. RM 407

My family stayed for one night and aside from a few issues we were happy with our stay. It’s conveniently located close to shopping and dining and also nearby the UND campus if you are in town for an event. We arrived shortly after checkin time, but were told our room wasn’t ready and to come back in 20 minutes. When we returned the person at the front desk was having difficulties locating our reservation which substantially lengthened checking in. She was very kind and apologetic, but there seemed to be some issue with the reservation system. After providing her a copy of our reservation confirmation she was able to get us into a room. The room was adequate for our needs and relatively clean, my only complaint is that the carpets were in desperate need of a deep clean. The bottoms of our feet/socks were black by bedtime. Other than that the room was clean and everything in good working order. The TVs are not set up for streaming, so be sure to bring an HDMI cable and adapter if that is something you are wanting to do. The common areas were clean and updated. We left before breakfast, but I appreciate that it is offered. Checkout was easy. Although it wouldn’t be my first choice, I would stay there again.

Hotel is kept clean! You can tell it is maintained well. The fact that they carry clean products (shampoo/hand soap/lotion) is a big reason to come back! Breakfast is the best we’ve had at any hotel as well. The small details sets this apart from any hotel we’ve stayed at in grand forks!!!

The staff is usually the biggest asset--although on this checkout, I had two sleepy girls dressed in sloppy sweatshirts--looked like they just rolled out of bed. Housekeeping gal was very pleasant, friendly and efficient. Rooms could use a little updating--can't stream on tv, etc. Bed was super comfy. I've stayed before and I'll stay again

We had a room with king sized bed and sofa bed. The pillows were small, the sofa bed was very springy- not comfortable at all to sleep. Otherwise, would have been a good stay.

The staff at check in were very rude and while there were several people waiting to speak to the front desk the 2 ladies sat in the back then one came out and said “don’t talk to me”. I will never stay here again

We were coming in from a wedding reception and arrived at 12:30am tired from the drive. During check-in when the front desk clerk tried to run my card for incidentals, it was declined. We ran it 3 times and the same issue. We tried a different card and the same issue. It ended up being an computer connection issue with their system. Finally, after about 15 minutes, the clerk just checked us in without running a card for the incidentals. It was frustrating to have that hassle that late at night after such a long trip. Other than that small issue, the rest of the stay was great. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the other areas of the hotel looked clean and well cared for.

We Did not have any shower towels in our room to shower. We called down. She brought up 1 towel. "THATS ALL THAT IS CLEAN IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL NOT IN ROOMS. THAT THE BEST I CAN DO. GUESS IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MANY ARE IN OUR ROOM. I then called down and she told me she was the only one at the front desk, she has 74 check outs and cant leave the front desk. No manager on site to help. Not her fault. She\'s very over worked. Absolutely not acceptable!! This is a hotel. Towels in rooms are a necessity. I still have not heard from the manager staff that I left a message for.

This is our hotel of choice in Grand Forks but it did disappoint this trip. The first night the phone rang in our room at 3:30 in the morning. It was the the front desk saying that so and so would not be in until 8 o’clock what do they do? When I stated I did not know what they were talking about they hung up. No sorry, just hung up. Then there was the towel situation. Each night we went to the pool and hot tub. There were no towels in the area. When I went to the front desk to ask for towels, I was rudely told they were in the dryer and then door closed on me. Next night we were given towels from the front desk, third day, finally were told that people were bringing them to their room so they only had fitness towels and gave us some of those. Buy more towels!

The staff was friendly, attentive and so courteous. I truly appreciated the service and the breakfast provided in the morning. The guests do not need to leave the hotel and there is variety in the available options. Also, the location is close to the shopping centers. Thank you for making my first visit to North Dakota memorable. I will surely book my stay again at this hotel.

I'm starting to really like Hampton Inns. Wherever we book into one of these, I find it easily accessible from whichever highway we are on, the place is invariably clean and the parking is convenient. Also the breakfasts have been excellent. All this and the best part is that the price is not unreasonable.

On day of checkout, went down for breakfast and the doors were already closed at 9am. My husband is also 6’3 and felt the toilets were made for midgets. Staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival.

After a few other bad experiences at other properties in the area, our stay was a relief. The rooms are clean, which was our primary concern. The only disappointment was breakfast - certain foods running out and the juice was completely gone. There was no one manning the breakfast area to let them know.

Always enjoy our stay at Hampton Inn. Only complaint is their breakfast used to be much better. No biscuits & gravy. No sausage or bacon, only fried KUB both days. Fruit selection used to be over the top. The breakfast has definitely gone downhill since before Covid. Acceptable but not excellent.
