Homewood Suites Victoria, TX

Well lit at night and easy parking.

Clean room, excellent breakfast, beautiful pool, Kind staff, and the amenities were good. The only issue was the bed was a bit hard and it was difficult to sleep on that mattress.

Stayed there before. Great location for of needs and excellent staff. When we arrived this time drive-up canopy blocked with piles of new furniture and remodeling materials. Lobby full with old furniture. 1st floor rooms and hallway in disarray. We could live with all that. BUT they left the outside doors unlocked either purposefully or were unable to repair them.(after calling to their attention) I stay in hotels for at least the idea of higher security. VERY dissatisfied with this stay. Hope they finish the remodeling soon and take their security more seriously.

Hotel was great …nice and clean. Had a bar and barbecue pits outside by swimming pool…basket ball court outside also . Front desk was amazing Anna and Gina were great..definitely be back again…

Hotel was in beginning stages of renovation. Old and dirty. From the entry way to room, cluttered with materials for renovation. Room carpet was dirty and bedding was old. Room was spacious. Some guests were given renovated rooms but not us.

Stayed over the weekend. Cons: Pool had leaves/debris in it, green tint to water, with the heat it does not take long for algae to form, and was not cleaned until the following Monday when we saw someone doing maintenance. Carpet in room although vacuum, needed shampooed. Floor grout needed a deep cleaning. We bought a tub mat for the shower due to the tub flooring being slippery when wet. No way to charge phones unless you bring a wall charger with you or purchased one. We collected our bath towel replacements from the laundry ourselves Pros: Personnel seem to be nice. Breakfast area in the morning was very good. I, myself loved having a kitchen, living, bedroom, and bath areas in the room. Bed was comfortable. Location was good. Price seem to be the same around the town for all the Hilton locations. Would I use this place again, maybe. I was expecting much better cleanliness, and tech updates from such a high end company I guess.

Wonderful hotel with free shuttle service.

The suite rooms were large and the staff was very accommodating, including the shuttle that picked and dropped us off at multiple locations.

Overall a very nice property. The outside is well maintained and this includes the outdoor pool area and grills. Check in was easy and customer service is very good. My stay was for 4 full days. The condition of the room was very good for a hotel a little over 5 years old. Very clean. My only concern is that a lot of construction workers and oilfield workers stay at this hotel and they are tough on the rooms and it is evident. This is not the fault of the hotel. Nicks on walls and furniture. My only concerns were the heating at first was not working but they sent someone u; within 5 minutes and the issue was immediately corrected to my pleasure. The cardio machines do not work in the gym ( Maybe this has been corrected since my stay ). The mirror in the restroom that slides open was broke at the bottom. Again, this is not the hotels fault but the types of people who stay in these rooms I guess they are very hard on the rooms. The glass was not broke but the sliding mechanism was. To finish amazing customer service, great evening socials with free food, beer, and wine. This is only Monday - Wed. Very clean all over the property. I would recommend this if you need a full kitchen and amenities that offers and I would 200% stay again.

The room was sparkling clean, and the handicapped suite we had was very well furnished. We were three adults, so the sofa-sleeper was used, and it was very very comfortable. We plan to use this facility again.

I stayed here for one night while seeing my sister and her family. This is my second time staying here. The GOOD: The lobby and breakfast room were very nice. The front counter person was super friendly, professional and helpful. I called ahead to see if a room was available for me to check in early, and it was! They were very nice on the phone. Upon check in, they put a $10 hold on your credit card in case I made any purchases during my stay like incidentals, snacks, etc. They have TONS of snacks beside the front desk if you’re hungry late at night. The towels seemed really clean. The bed was made beautifully. The BAD: Unfortunately, only one of my room keys worked (I just used the working one). My room was on the third floor (Rm. 303) I had to call down to get a chair for the desk/dining table (they came right up with it). The bathroom wasn’t very clean. It looked as though housekeeping just hasn’t been doing a thorough job. There was very noticeable dust accumulation on the floor around the bathroom sink. Toothpaste spatter on the mirror. The shower stall had mildew and hair in it. While trying to rinse the hair off the wall with the shower stream, a plastic part of the shower head fell off. Low water pressure and a shower head clogged from hard water made my shower sad and disappointing.The mugs and cups are very tiny. Bring your own. I might stay here again if the price is right.

We didn't spend much time at the hotel this time as we were out with family the whole time and really just slept and left But the room was clean .

Walked into the room and found half-eaten chips, a vape, other trash on the nightstand. Then a females shirt, and a bottle of shampoo hiding behind a curtain. Food items in the refrigerator (chicken salad) The room appeared clean otherwise.

The value found at this property is very good. Your room is a suite which is roomy. You also receive an evening reception, free dinner on certain days, and a full breakfast. I’ve tried almost all the hotels in Victoria, TX and this one is the best by far!

Everything was good. And the staff was very professional. The only problem we had was the 2 nights we stayed, there was a lot of running and screaming from people across from our room. Smh. Which we had a hard time falling asleep. We mentioned it to the front desk about. The second thing was on the second day a weird tapping noise will come on while the ac was on a would not stop. We so we did not get enough sleep/ rest. We did mention it to the front desk too.

There were 2 problems. There was no microwave. Looks like it must have been removed for painting and not replaced. Also the sliding closet doors were jammed… probably from recent painting. Otherwise the suite was very nice and we enjoyed the pool. Oh, and breakfast was enjoyable, especially having real plates, glasses and silverware! Nice touch 😊

Clean hotel and very welcoming but the two queen beds in our suite were of poor quality. We felt like they belonged in a motel rather than a hotel. Our sleep was awful. We have stayed in a lot of Homewood Suites in the past but was disappointed by the quality of beds in this one..

The hotel was nice, clean and smelled great. I believe the hotel had recently had some remodeling done. Good location and decent breakfast. Employees were nice and helpful but the bed was absolutely terrible! Felt like sleeping on the rock hard floor. Had to take off mega points for the discomfort during trying to sleep.

Excellent breakfast. Plenty of lights and seating. Cooktop, dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator, dishes, pots & pans in room would make a long-term stay convenient and comfortable.

Room was clean and staff was very friendly. The TV was not HD and the cable channels did not match up to the guide. That’s the complaint. Great overall.

My wife and I travel professionally and live on the road full time. We booked a 1 bedroom king suite several weeks before staying here. When we arrived we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and we were moved into a smaller room that was not a suite despite the fact when I booked, there were many available. Of course, there were lots of excuses as to why it happened, and no answer was given as to why we were pushed out into a smaller room, despite booking weeks in advance. This is the third time in the last 6 months we have had this happen at a Hilton property. It has not been an issue in any of the other hotel chains we have stayed at. Only Hiltons. Oh, and of course, excuses were given as to why we couldn't be refunded the difference in price. So we payed a premium price for the cheapest room. Additionally, the hotel is being renovated so it's torn up and trashed everywhere with lots of noise due to the work being done. If we had known this was happening, we would have NOT booked here. But of course, they don't note this at the time of booking. So they charged the normal price for a subpar stay. My perception of Hilton is that it's being poorly run overall, including this hotel. I can not recommend staying here, and we've given up on Hiltons. We will not stay at one again.

Stayed 2 nights for my sons graduation left some bags in the kitchen we used 2 glasses in the kitchen and when we were gone during the day room service put the glasses and started dish washer. Came back to the room soap and water everywhere and on my bags. Went and told the employee in the front Nd he said what do you want me to do about it he said he would give me towels so I can clean it up! I asked to speak to a manager and it has been 6 days now and no one has contacted me yet

The check in staff when I arrived were excellent!

Hotel was lovely although room wasn’t ready.So they gave us our key anyway .Thank God we had family in other rooms so we could get dressed and leave our luggage in there room to go to the graduation.when returning we used our key to go in our room not knowing they had given it to someone else.So at 11:30 at night they told us we no longer have any 2 bed rooms .We stayed in a king.Finally at almost midnight we could finally put our luggage in our own room. Also, they said check in is an estimated time! So is check out an estimated time also?

My first stay here was stellar, so I booked again. This time I have a dirty room and was told that booking third party is not good because I’m not valued as a Hilton rewards member and my room is not guaranteed. Definitely didn’t feel welcomed.

Was in town due to loss in my family. That alone was stressful and had to drive 6 hrs. We arrived early to the hotel and front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The staff was able to get my family and i checked in early. Would definitely recommend this facility.

Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful when assistance was needed. I will def stay again.

Room and pool were great! Room was very spacious and clean. Was disappointed in the breakfast. By 9am most of the food was gone and not refilled.

Our suite was clean. Continental breakfast was delicious and quickly replenished at each wave of diners. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Poor Breakfast.!! No lunch neither dinner options!! But the stay, the suite was excellent!!!

Breakfast was very good

Spacious bedroom and nice living & kitchen. They fixed the bath sink plug by removing it. The breakfast was sausage, sausage and sausage and eggs. . The time they served Chorizo and eggs, they ran out quickly. Then, they told me they were not going to make any more even if it’s one hour before breakfast ending period but they still had plenty of link sausages. Mgr didn’t care either.

A great option with a good included breakfast as well as a social hour in the evening with dinner, wine and beer also included. Really made my stay easy. Rooms were great, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.
