Great hotel, we would go back again. Breakfast was great, music at night was awesome, good size rooms, playroom was fun for the kids, pool was nice. Very nice stay, for a great price. 10 min walk to lift, or 3 min walk to free bus.

We thought this was the perfect hotel in Zermatt. Walkable to train station, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, sauna, and breakfast was fantastic. We wish we had been able to stay many days longer.

The staff are very friendly and give me a pleasant surprise of free upgrade to Alpen Resort and Spa. There are lots of facilities including gym, swimming pool and whirlpool. They are clean and well maintained.

The budget rooms wildly exceeded our expectations - the rooms were huge! The pool was great, there's a game room right outside the door, breakfast was fantastic and the price was really good for Zermatt. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Zermatt!

Fantastic hotel! I would even call it a resort! Clean. Quiet. Beds were comfortable and rooms are very spacious! We were very happy with our stay. I do wish they had explained how awesome their amenities are upon check in. We didn’t realize they had a whole spa experience for their guests. Hot saunas, dry saunas, 3 hot pools in addition to the regular pools. You name it. They have it. They also have fantastic breakfasts for their guests included with the stay. We would definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend this place!

The room was really large with a massive bathroom which had both a huge walk-in shower and bath. The breakfast buffet was lovely and varied, and very tasty way to start our day. Good location only 5-10 minute walk from the Zermat train station / centre of town. Staff at check-in were nice and the free processco/orange juice was a nice touch. The spa was brilliant, with various baths and rooms, perfect to help heal my pulled back muscle after some sledging that day.

The hotel is lovely. The room was clean and enormous. The spa and pool area were fantastic. The breakfast was very good. Appreciated the shuttle from the train station during the snow storm. The only downside is the area where the rooms are located. They really feel like a basement, including having to walk by an open storage of old dusty furniture to get to the room. That placed grossed me out every time. I don’t understand the decision to keep that in the middle of such a nice hotel.

a family room located between ground floor and basement was very spacious which should fit for a group of 4-6 for relatively a long stay like a week. Unfortunately this time we only stayed a night but would have been great with a few more nights. The hotel has been renovated recently and facility wise everything is neat and clean.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Although hotel is not far from train station, we were offered to and from complementary shuttle. The shuttle drivers were very nice. The basement room we stayed in was very spacious with a huge washroom and a kitchenette. House keeping was very tidy. The pool and hot tub was refreshing after a long day of hiking. Breakfast had a good variety. We really enjoyed the menu and service at onsite DUDE pub. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again.

Fantastisk ophold, der var sket noget fejl med vores værelse, en misforståelse så vi skulle vente i et par timer, for at få vores værelse. Så de gav os en super værelses upgradering med udsigt til Matterhorn, virkelig fornem måde at rette op på en fejl🤗 Virkelig sødt personale, og rigtig pænt hotel, med meget flotte og virkelig rene værelser.

We checked into a renovated room in Zermatt Budget Rooms, which is the basement level of Alpine Resorts and Spa. The triple room is very spacious with the beds on one side of the room, sitting area on the other, and the bathroom on a lower level accessible by stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was plentiful. The spa was fabulous—I particularly enjoyed the onsen. The only constructive criticism I have is that the fans in the bathroom were very loud and there was no was to turn them off. Eventually we got used to the noise, but it is quite noticeable. All in all, I highly recommend Zermatt Budget Rooms and I would absolutely stay here again if I were ever back in Zermatt.

Our two-floor room was at the basement. It was huge in size with the bathroom at lower floor. It needed only five mins walking to the city centre where located shops and restaurant. There was a supermarket nearby. Just that one reception lady behaved not very welcoming.

We stayed in Switzerland for 9 days, each night in a different location, and this one was by far our favorite. Started out by being met by the most courteous staff. We opted for the budget rooms, expecting the norm, but got a spacious clean room with a patio. Had a nightcap at the bar with the sweetest bartender. The breakfast the next day offered so much variety and was so good. I can’t not say enough good things about this hotel:

Nice size room with a huge full room size bathroom in the basement. Convenient location though 10-12 minutes from train station so if you have heavy luggage ask for hotel shuttle. My kids loved the bathroom and its size.

Depois que percebemos quando estávamos lá que tinha uma Van do Hotel, mas que não foi comunicado pra gente. Quando chegamos a recepcionista foi muito grossa porque não conseguia encontrar nossa reserva. Ficamos bem desconfotável com a situação. Depois, apesar da pouca paciência da mesma, ela encontrou, mas não foi em nenhum momento gentil naquele momento. O hotel é muito bom, moderno o quarto, reformado ou novo. Tudo muito confortável. Fantastic hotel! I would even call it a resort! Clean. Quiet. Beds were comfortable and rooms are very spacious! We were very happy with our stay. I do wish they had explained how awesome their amenities are upon check in. We didn’t realize they had a whole spa experience for their guests. Hot saunas, dry saunas, 3 hot pools in addition to the regular pools. You name it. They have it. They also have fantastic breakfasts for their guests included with the stay. We would definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend this place!

We opted for the budget rooms, expecting the norm, but got a spacious clean room with a patio. Had a nightcap at the bar with the sweetest bartender. The breakfast the next day offered so much variety and was so good. I can’t not say enough good things about this hotel:

Fantastisk ophold, der var sket noget fejl med vores værelse, en misforståelse så vi skulle vente i et par timer, for at få vores værelse. Så de gav os en super værelses upgradering med udsigt til Matterhorn, virkelig fornem måde at rette op på en fejl🤗 Virkelig sødt personale, og rigtig pænt hotel, med meget flotte og virkelig rene værelser.

Our two-floor room was at the basement. It was huge in size with the bathroom at lower floor. It needed only five mins walking to the city centre where located shops and restaurant. There was a supermarket nearby. Just that one reception lady behaved not very welcoming.

The room was really large with a massive bathroom which had both a huge walk-in shower and bath. The breakfast buffet was lovely and varied, and very tasty way to start our day. Good location only 5-10 minute walk from the Zermat train station / centre of town. Staff at check-in were nice and the free processco/orange juice was a nice touch. The spa was brilliant, with various baths and rooms, perfect to help heal my pulled back muscle after some sledging that day.

Nice size room with a huge full room size bathroom in the basement. Convenient location though 10-12 minutes from train station so if you have heavy luggage ask for hotel shuttle. My kids loved the bathroom and its size.

Simplemente hermoso lugar! Sobrepasó mis expectativas por mucho. Totalmente recomendable. Las habitaciones se encuentran dentro de un Resort & Spa y cuentan con todas las amenidades del mismo. Nuestra habitación contaba con terraza. El desayuno buffet que ofrecen está muy completo y rico, vale la pena.

We loved our Budget room - very spacious with huge bathroom with rain shower and lovely tub. Very comfortable beds in large room. Nice little spot to sit outside. When we heard ‘budget room’ in the basement we wondered how nice it would be but it was excellent. We would definitely stay there happily again. Also, has a fabulous dinner with a wonderful waiter, Dennis, in the hotel. The meal was delicious. The breakfast was fabulous, too!

The hotel is lovely. The room was clean and enormous. The spa and pool area were fantastic. The breakfast was very good. Appreciated the shuttle from the train station during the snow storm. The only downside is the area where the rooms are located. They really feel like a basement, including having to walk by an open storage of old dusty furniture to get to the room. That placed grossed me out every time. I don’t understand the decision to keep that in the middle of such a nice hotel.
