Hotel Sabana

Habitacion con aire aconficionada, limpia y agradable. La piscina estaba fuera de servicio, no habia desayuno porque el restaurante pertenecia a otra administracion. El personal del hotel es muy amable y servicial.

Staff was unhelpful during our stay. It was noisy during the night. My family went into the pool and they all came out with a terrible rash. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

It had it's own pool. Great view of the lake. Close to restaurants and fun.

This place is a 2 star at best. Light was broken, no hot water, bathroom was poor. No wifi, no purified water even the coffee was bad. Poor service. The only redeeming feature was the small pool. If you can go somewhere else there are plenty of other places with better rates and much better service and rooms.

We are a couple and we personally went to the hotel a few days prior to request a specific room, and the front desk agent agreed and confirmed it. Upon arrival we were given a different room that did not even have a Queen bed, but two single beds. We asked for a late check out for the inconvenience and even that was hard to negotiate with the front desk agent who was not empathetic or flexible. On the plus side, it does have a pool and a good view from the pool. I would not stay here again.

This place is noisy and run down with a moldy pool. Only good point is it is on the lake but for the price there are many better. Staff are very noisy talking loudly early. I woud not stay there again.

The pool was not open due to construction which was Never mentioned and very disappointed with not being able to take a dip. This place has amazing potential but poorly managed and maintained. The view spectacular.

Pésimo, teníamos reservacion para 2 días, desde el check in, molestia por parte de la recepción, bichos muertos en el cuarto y el baño, en la mañana preguntamos si tenían desayunos y nos dijeron que ya estaban atendiendo a un grupo de 20 así que no podían. En resumen… preferimos perder el dinero, entregamos el cuarto al día siguiente en la mañana y buscamos otro lugar.

It was OK, if you take into account the relationship between price and quality. Even though, property could be cleaner

The room is spacious. Hot water and water draining in the bathroom work perfectly . Staff are helpful. Air conditioning works great. The view on the 4th floor is very nice. They also have a large porch on the 5th floor which I didn’t go but I believe it’s a place where you can see sunrise and sunset.

I thoght i had pay for a room with view to the lake but they only use the pics to advertise the hotel and they were exchanging the usd to 9 quetzales for each usd so that was not very honest because in the guatemalan bank exchange rate is 7.8 to one.

There seemed to be a mixup with our booking as we had booked for 3 people online and were told in person that that wasn't possible. Given that it was late, we decided to stay and were charged more for the room. The room was clean, the AC worked, and it met our needs for the stay.

The hotel has a great view of the lake, we stayed in one of the lake view rooms. Facility wifi was down, only working in the lobby on the ground floor. Cable was very statiky.

Top endroit avec 1 belle vue sur l’eau. La literie est bonne et la douche chaude si on attend suffisamment qu’elle arrive est 1 vrai must!

Everything is so good the rooms the hotel the staff is so friendly and the hotel have a good food service

Attention owner of the hotel: Overall good. But needs some polishing. The hotel is nice but has some issues. First of all, the checkin was smooth, staff courteous. But there was no-one to help with bags and settle us into our room. This is strange for a nice hotel, or any hotel. The restaurant is fine. The food was very good. The staff was attentive and courteous. The rooms are nice enough. Very boutique hotel. I love the private balcony overlooking the lake. The rooms do the basics well. The water was hot and the shower was spacious and nice. The rooms are strange. We decided they must have been designed by men with no architect. They are have a chic look, but man they lack comforts. For example, the beds are advertised as queens. They are not queens. They are doubles. There's little storage or surfaces for your items. Fortunately, there are 2 small closets which is a plus. Coffee pods in the room are only provided on the first day. Nice touch, but we stayed 3 nights. We requested refill on pods. We were denied. Coffee only for check-in. Towel racks don't hold towels, wash basin is awkwardly situated and wood base is a poor material choice because it will stay wet. There's not enough counter space in the "bathroom". There's no changing area, so people traveling together will not have privacy. The toilet lacks a fan and the toilet chamber is super-echoey. The glass on the balcony should be 1-way so that people on the deck below can't see you on your balcony.
