The hotel and the service is very neat , helpfull and anytime the want to help , and give recommendations. The only thing they where doing some repairs at 8 am and they wake me up, how come the do reparations at moose in the same hotel at such early time. Also the decoration and appliances are suite nice and trendy but if you look in detail they look worn out. The rest is very good the best asset the good personal service

The property has definitely aged compared to the photos. The hotel could probably use some repairs or renovations but overall it wasn’t bad. The aged facility probably adds some Vietnam rustic feel to the place. Just my expectations were higher because of the photos. The room size was good for a family of 4 and the staff were excellent and so helpful. The hotel answered so many of my questions prior to arrival and helped book transportation and tours for us. The worker even walked us across the street one night to help make reservations at a restaurant and even recommended some local food spots for us. The breakfast at the hotel was also good and had omelettes and French toast made to order. Would definitely return.

There is no bar or room service, spa is limited and layout is uncomfortable and message therapist need more training. They recommend horrible tour packages. The lobby is nicest stop in the whole hotel but not by much. Floors and restrooms are not cleaned in room upon arrival and they charge you extra if you dirty a towel. went during rain season and when I wiped mud off my leg I incurred a stain fee. Most staff members are extremely nice. Other upper staff are not

From the minute you walk into the lobby, it's so transquil and relaxing with a beautiful koi pond. The Staff are all so friendly and speak English very well. The buffet breakfast was great including made to order American dishes. Every time we had questions about the area, they easily provided directions. Lastly, they arranged rides to and from the airport which was so convenient. It was walking distance from Hoan Kiem Lake as well as the Cathedral. We will definitely return and stay here again.

Excellent location, good size and very comfortable rooms. Short walk to Train Street, the Note Coffee and the Hoan Kiem lake, as well as lots of shops and restaurants. What makes this hotel great is its staff. They are friendly, helpful and create a great atmosphere as soon as you arrive. The lobby is beautiful with plants and fish. If back in Hanoi, will stay here again :)

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel’s location in the heart of the old town is unbeatable – it’s just a short walk to many major attractions, making it super convenient for exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. One highlight was the coffee from the café at the front of the hotel – hands down some of the best we had during our trip to Vietnam! We also tried the massage service, which was professional and very relaxing. While it was pricier compared to other places, the quality and overall experience made it worth it. Accommodation-wise, the family room was large, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. However, the deluxe room felt a bit small in comparison, so keep that in mind when booking. Stayed at this location to be close to the lake but still be in Old Quarter. This location is excellent, close to everything but not the crazy Beer Street vibe. Perfect location for someone who wants to be close to all the action but not in the middle of all the crazies, lol. They also have a massage place and it was heavenly!!

My wife and I, and her friend visited this property--and Hanoi--for the first time. Here are my observations: STRENGTHS: - STAFF: The hotel staff are EXTRAORDINARY. They were always available, helpful, polite, and answered my many questions. - LOCATION: The location was perfect! We're were within walking distance of all the important sites and restaurants (everything else) was literally steps from the hotel. - HOTEL SERVICES: The hotel offered massages, facials, tours, and included breakfast (which was amazing), and we enjoyed all of them and they did not disappoint. WEAKNESSES: - CLEANLINESS: The hotel was clean, but the the bathrooms and shower had mold and mildew. Also, it appeared that staff didn't clean the floor so we cleaned it ourselves. - ROOM RESERVATIONS: We had a reserved/purchased a room with a balcony to the front of the hotel, but when we arrived they said they didn't have one for us, but they could check later in during the week. We just decided to stay in a different room, which was cheaper so we could've saved money at the outset. Overall, this was a great hotel notwithstanding the weaknesses. I would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous stay, the hotel was beautiful and atmosphere very relaxing. The staff were very helpful and we were able to book a massage workshop in the spa whilst we were there, the workshop was excellent and included a massage as well. There is a discount for the spa if youre staying at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day, there was also a cook to order menu. The bed was very comfy. My only complaint was that there were hairs left in the bathroom from the previous occupants.

The staff were exceptionally professional and polite. The hotel itself is cute and a great location. I made the mistake of booking an interior room with no outside window. My room was spacious, clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. But there was a musty mildew smell that would not go away. I don’t know if it was because it’s an interior room and has very little ventilation or if it was coming from the AC vents, but it was there constantly. I would recommend the hotel - just avoid an interior room with no window.

The staffs were very friendly. We had to leave at 4:30am and they would call us to see if we need to have breakfast to go. What service! Only complain was the WiFi was soooooooooooooo slow. At times it didn’t work. Other than that, we had a great time.

Good location in old town. Rooms without a window are an option that I didn't think I would like, but it was incredibly quiet and fine for two nights since I was rarely in the room. The pillowtop bed was comfortable - supportive yet enough cushion for the hips and shoulders. Staff were attentive and friendly. A good breakfast on the 9th floor with a view. A good value for the price and location.

We had a wonderful three-night stay here. The location is absolutely perfect in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The staff were truly amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The staff was remarkable! Extremely friendly and helpful. I am Vietnamese but live in the US since I was 4. I had a blast practicing my Vietnamese with the staff and shop owners! Not great but everyone was patient and encouraging. What stood out was the kitchen made me a sandwich for my early morning flight out. They wanted to make sure I had something at the airport. What wonderful service!!

The issue is the hotel facilities being worn out and in urgent need of updating: rooms, bathrooms and restaurant where the breakfast is served. Breakfast could improve a lot in variety and quality. Cleanliness is compromised because of the age of the facilities and furniture. I would not recommend this hotel as is.

The staff at Hanoi Brilliant are simply amazing and do everything they can to ensure you have an incredible stay, they even arranged a take out breakfast for our last day when we had a 5am start. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk to all of the main sites from here. You are in the middle of everything and still very quiet for sleeping The massages are very good!

Really enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging tours and transport. It was nice that they took a genuine interest in us enjoying our time in Hanoi. The location is fantastic, being right in the heart of the old quarter with endless food and drink options on your doorstep. Loved the beautiful reception area which creates a strong first impression and the family room we stated in was huge. Although the balcony is a little too small to be a usable space, we did enjoy the views of the city that it gave us. Breakfast was nice with a good range, considering the size of the hotel, and the dining room was small and quiet making a nice change to the larger hotels. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

They kept our luggage for us a day after we had checked out while we were waiting for our trip to the airport. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend.

You can’t beat the staff at this hotel, Rosie and Mymy at front desk are fantastic and will help you with anything and speak pretty good English which makes it easier for us.All the boys at front door are great with their big smiles. We booked with them to go to Halong Bay overnight, was great. Great spot in old quarter to go for walks, restaurants, sightseeing, catch on and hop off bus etc. I really enjoyed our stay in in family suite which is big, Brekky good, older style boutique hotel but love it. I’ll miss you guys❤️

Yes, the room was spotless. The hotel is closed to everything like shops, street foods/resto/ historical sites. Pillows were all soft and fluffy... Staff were wonderful esp. Max who works in the dining area during breakfast hours. Breakfast was perfect for us, so many choices like hot pho, eggs, fruits..etc. Max was so attentive to the customers. He's always checking if theres anything else we need. Max, offered me a tiny spoon when i was about to eat my yogurt. I highly appreciated that. Max is an excellent worker, hardly speaks English but action speaks louder than words. Reception staff were also helpful/caring/very inf ormative esp. in booking our taxi grab, theyre aware that we got scammed 2x using taxis when we booked it ourselves. They used umbrella on us when it was raining while we were waiting for our rides. Love that. Stayed in Room 302, their shampoo,conditioner and body wash in the shower room should all be changed, my hubby's skin smells like sewer after using it. We bought our own after that. Bath mat should also be provided for safety, i slipped x1 after having a shower. I was ok though after.

Great service, they have thought of everything. Location is spot on and easy walk to everything. We had the windowless room which was ok. Very low beds and small room but it did the job. Breakfast would be helpful if the food was labelled but highly recommend this hotel for a great stay and service. I would return :)

Easy walking distance to shops, street food and locations for cooking class/tours etc. Breakfast was small, only 4-5 bainmaries, a 2 bread toaster (the one you’d have at home) and a selection of juice, sweets, dairy, fruit and eggs cooked your way.
