Hampton Inn Indianapolis NW/Zionsville

We use the training room and it’s very nice.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. However, when we got there one elevator was out of service and overnight the second elevator broke, they had no signage on it and we waited for 5 min for it. When I told the front desk, he basically rolled his eyes and smirked- and never put a sign on it. We were in a handicap accessible room (not by our request) on the 4th floor, but if I had someone in a wheel chair I’m not sure how I would have gotten them down 4 flights of stairs.

Very clean property with a good breakfast and comfortable beds. Walls are a bit thin....and wish there was a hot tub.

Staff was rude, didn’t want to help and was annoyed that we approached them. Including the manager on duty. There were not any luggage cart. Morning staff was making rude comments about guests. Most importantly the American flag is torn and needs to be replaced. I spoke with the manager about how disrespectful it was to our military men and women that service. He didn’t seem to care and just argued with me on why it was staying up. I will never stay here again nor will I support any establishment that is connected to Hamilton. Management and staff need to be retrained in customer service!

Hotel was clean,the staff was top notch. My only complaint the elevators…..yes the elevators. Car 1 was noisy, loud,rough riding,and appeared to hang up. Car 2 was slightly better but rarely ever opened for guests. We saw many guests opt for the stairs.

The facilities seem to be fairly new and in generally in good shape and the staff was helpful.

Hotel is great! Big rooms and bathrooms are decent size. Mattress was comfortable. Everything was really clean. Kids enjoyed the pool. The only complain I have is about breakfast. Coffee tasted like water. When we got there at 8am the waffle mix was gone. Some lady asked the staff for more mix and was told loudly well someone spilled it all and I don’t have time to make more. That was completely uncalled for. She clearly wasn’t too busy to bring more out. Frontdesk staff was really nice and respectful. Definitely would go back.

If you like a clean room, this is not the place to stay. We checked into our room and noticed the bedding had little hairs all over it and it did not appear clean. There was also hair in our bathroom sink. We asked to be moved to a different room and the person at the desk was nice about moving us. When we got into our replacement room, the beds looked clean which was nice. However, we noticed there were crumbs and food all over the carpet. We had been traveling for 12 hours so decided since the beds seemed clean, we would just sleep and leave. Unfortunately, we did not notice until later that on the side of the bed, there was a used condom wrapper along with hand sanitizing wipes. Obviously, the floors had not been cleaned at all. There were also ants all over the heating-A/C unit. We were so disgusted by this place and would definitely not recommend it. We let the front desk know, however, they stated they couldn't refund us anything due to us booking through a third party (Expedia) vs going directly through them when booking. The front desk people were friendly but this was definitely a very poor experience.

Got a room with a sofa sleeper opened it up and the mattress look like someone had dragged it through the mud. It was so nasty. Took pictures showed the front desk they told me they would let housekeeping know. Well housekeeping did nothing.

When we arrive the two ladies checking us in were very rude and we seemed to be bothering them. I’m not sure if one of the women was training, but I could not understand or hear her. I asked her to repeat what she was saying and she stared at me uncomfortably and then pointed to my key packet. I said, “what does that mean?”. She looked at other lady, rolled her eyes and said, “it’s all in there?”. I assume she was referring to WI-FI and room number…but I asked where I should park? I asked again, “where is the best place to park for this room?”. She replied, “how would I know, that is up to you”. I then asked when breakfast was served and she just looked at me again and did not say anything. I will be honest, we arrived late - 11:00PM, and I’m sure she was tired, but we did not expect this confrontation. I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year…but never again at this one. Our room had a bad smell and it was dirty in the shower and one of our desks was not cleaned. There was no way I was going to go and ask for a different room because of initial experience, but I did ask my wife if she wanted to just get back in the car and drive further towards our destination. She would not let me, but I was extremely dissatisfied. I will say, the morning gentleman who checked us out was at least pleasant. If Hampton wants me to continue to stay at their properties I would like a personal contact from someone in regards to this terrible experience.

This place did the job. You can hear your neighbors stomping around so if you are a light sleeper that would be something to keep in mind. The staff was great and gave us complementary water and cookies. The beds were a little soft but the place was clean and safe. Breakfast was lacking but there are plenty of restaurants near by.

Excellent relaxing stay!! First class service!!

The property was very nice. I did call the front deskat 11 pm and asked for security to come up and talk to some teens/young adults regarding the noise. That didn't happen and we didn't get a very good night's sleep.

Easy check in, easy parking, friendly front desk staff

I rarely review any hotel, restaurant or any service in general. I only review if it is super excellent and someone definitely deserve a praise or on the other spectrum. Unfortunately, I have to this time. First and foremost, I don\'t want that employee in trouble. I hope she still has her job and all of the benefit that she is deserve. I just want to say a smile and a greetings will go far. I get to the facility very late around 11:40pm, still disoriented after the long flight, no "hi", "hello" or "how can I help you", she kept eating and give me a look (I don\'t know what that look meant). I didn\'t know what to do but fished out my driver license and give to her so she can check my booking. she said "you can tell me your name" and I did. she asked me for my credit card. I said "oh but i paid for my stay already". she said " This is for the damage if any and I saw a $404 charge on the screen. At this point, I just wanted to get over with so I can go to my room and rest, I decided that i believed whatever she said. I haven\'t checked my credit card yet. I will check in couple days if the charge is still there as she said "for damage if any". She gave me key card, tell me the direction to the elevator and walk away from the reception desk. I hope that I had this treatment just because she had a bad day on that day, not because of who I am. My night already ruined. Not a good first impression of Indianapolis.

Grocery store across the street List of suggested places to order food from locally right at the front desk! The man working the front desk was so pleasant. It worked perfectly to stay here before going into Indy for Children's Museum.

comfortable good breakfast

The staff was friendly. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Clean and nice breakfast. Love that they don't change the breakfast hours just because it Saturday or Sunday. The entire hotel need upkeep! Over all we plan on coming back next year.
