Had a wonderful long weekend (3 night) stay here. It's a short, easy walk from the main tourist strip so simple to get around Florence by foot. It's also easy to get to from the airport with tram and bus to just a few blocks away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room (single room) was spacious with comfortable bed, good shower and all you need for a short break. I ate in the restaurant the first night - it's not the best space, but the food was AMAZING (beef that melted in your mouth) and the cocktail even more so. The bartender is fabulous - the service, knowledge and chat you expect from a five-star hotel in the middle of London or New York. The last night I ate at a nearby local restaurant - there are plenty of choices if you're willing to be adventurous and not looking for a 'tourist trap' restaurant but something more authentic and traditional. If you're looking for fancy luxury hotel, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a comfortable stay, in a clean hotel with friendly staff, and in an area that is away from the chaos of too many tourists but still easy to get around from, at a great price, this is a wonderful choice. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s a small hotel, family-operated and owned who were all magnificent. We checked in really late and who I believe was the head of the family was very helpful and even saved me money on parking. The room was small, but very cozy and clean. It also had all the major amenities that most been g hotel have. We missed breakfast time the following, but the lady still let us have a small breakfast and a few capuchinos.

Great little bar and bar area with an amazing bar tender who will give a master class on Italian alcohol. Breakfast was good. Staff was all very friendly. Street parking in the blue lines is the only parking, which we found a spot a few blocks down. Not a lot of retail or restaurants in the immediate area, which we were fine with as we had a car. Quiet at night. A good night of sleep.

POSIZIONE: Struttura situata a 15 minuti a piedi dalla Stazione di Firenze Campo di Marte. La zona delle Cure è piuttosto tranquilla e non si percepisce il traffico. Di fronte e nelle vicinanze ci sono posti per le automobili o comunque è possibile parcheggiare all’interno della struttura pagando una quota. CAMERA: La mia stanza era situata nella dépendance, piccola ma ben organizzata negli spazi. Letto matrimoniale abbastanza comodo con la possibilità di scelta tra cuscino morbido/duro. Ho trovato il tutto ben pulito e ordinato. Unica pecca che la stanza non è ben insonorizzata, quindi si sentono i passi degli ospiti sovrastanti e il passaggio nel corridoio. SERVIZI: Staff gentile e disponibile, check in/out veloce. Ho usufruito della colazione, abbondante e variegata. Ottima per il prezzo richiesto. A pochi passi dalla struttura è presente un supermercato, a mio avviso utile.

Wir waren vier Nächte im Hotel Astro Mediceo und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Insbesondere möchten wir das außerordentlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Team hervorheben! Beim Check-in wurden uns z. B. viele Tipps für Aktivitäten in und um Florenz gegeben. Vielen Dank! Das Frühstück war gut und typisch italienisch, d. h. eher viele Süßspeisen, statt Brot, was wir persönlich völlig in Ordnung finden- auf Reisen kann man sich ruhig ein wenig an die örtlichen Gegebenheiten anpassen. Parkplätze gibt es ein paar direkt hinter dem Haus, ggf. muss man den Schlüssel abgeben, falls man in zweiter Reihe parkt. Unser Zimmer war schön, schlicht und sauber. Gefallen hat uns die harte Matratze und die Kissen. In der näheren Umgebung hatten einige Geschäfte und Restaurants geschlossen Mitte August, was aber ok war, da man in ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß am Dom war. Ums Eck gab es einen Supermarkt und wenige Straßen weiter eine Bushaltestelle der Linie 13, mit der man zum piazzale Michelangiolo fahren kann. Wir hatten eine super Zeit in diesem bodenständigen Hotel und würden es wieder buchen!

Bonjour, Sejour convenable. Chambre propre mais malheureusement sans entretien. Concernant la salle de bains, cuvette de wc fixée de travers, robinetterie de la vasque posée et non fixée, etc. Ce veux être une adresse relevée mais au final décevant. My friend and I were quite underwhelmed when we first entered our room. I had booked a triple room but there were no sheets or pillows on the twin bed, only two pillows on the queen bed. There were no batteries in the safe and the plug on the electric kettle did not match the outlet on the wall. There were also a few stains on the duvet and mattress cover. Of course all these issues were resolved when I brought them to the front desk person’s attention the next morning, however, they did cause a bad first impression.

Dirty in bed, with other peoples hair. We woke up with bits from insects all over our body, and I killed 3 tiny spiders and threw them away. They were rude and didn’t believe us when we informed them about it.

Fica um pouco afastado do centro, mas é uma ótima opção para quem quer explorar mais da cidade, com acesso fácil e tranquilo. O custo-benefício é bom, o café da manhã é excelente e a acomodação cumpre bem o que promete. A limpeza do chão do quarto deixou um pouco a desejar, assim como o banheiro, que é um pouco apertado. No geral, considerando o valor e a estadia foi super válido.

The hotel is very clean and well kept. Their rooms are big and bathroom is very clean. The location is very close to Galleria but you might need to walk a bit if you want to reach the other parts like Uffizi and Boboli Gardens. But that was okay for us as there were quiet a few bus services and nearby stops. The staff is nice and helpful too. Some issues we had which led me to give lower rating - There were mosquitoes in the room, luckily they were only one or too and we kept pur windows shut so we were able to deal with it. The room has no means of ventilation, the AC was in heat mode and there was ni control when it was too hot for us we couldn’t open windows as it would have led to more mosquitoes entering the room. But its overall a good place if you want to spend a night or too

This hotel was a dissapointment. Its more of an B&B than a proper hotel. There was no proper airconditioning and when we said so they just gave us a small fan. The worst aspect by far was how noisy our room was. In the evening/night, we could barely sleep because of our upstairs neighbours. Just banging noises all the time. I also feel they could have given way more explanation about things. When the towels get cleaned and the such. Overall, it wasn't a complete nightmare but definitely would not recommend if you end up getting the same room as ours.

First when I entered the room there were no curtains on the windows. The outside doors leading out to the balcony did not open. The storm shutters had no way to hold them open. The common areas were ok. As for the room the bed was awful and placed length wise against the wall and made up with cheap linen. The Wi-Fi worked for my first few hours in the room then stopped working for the rest of my 4 or 5 day stay.. I never do reviews but this had to be said

Hotel was good just far from main attractions. Only one thing I had an issue with was the A/C and called the reception and the guy looked like he was bothered. Other than that it was good.

It’s a small hotel, family-operated and owned who were all magnificent. We checked in really late and who I believe was the head of the family was very helpful and even saved me money on parking. The room was small, but very cozy and clean. It also had all the major amenities that most been g hotel have. We missed breakfast time the following, but the lady still let us have a small breakfast and a few capuchinos.

Wir waren vier Nächte im Hotel Astro Mediceo und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Insbesondere möchten wir das außerordentlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Team hervorheben! Beim Check-in wurden uns z. B. viele Tipps für Aktivitäten in und um Florenz gegeben. Vielen Dank! Das Frühstück war gut und typisch italienisch, d. h. eher viele Süßspeisen, statt Brot, was wir persönlich völlig in Ordnung finden- auf Reisen kann man sich ruhig ein wenig an die örtlichen Gegebenheiten anpassen. Parkplätze gibt es ein paar direkt hinter dem Haus, ggf. muss man den Schlüssel abgeben, falls man in zweiter Reihe parkt. Unser Zimmer war schön, schlicht und sauber. Gefallen hat uns die harte Matratze und die Kissen. In der näheren Umgebung hatten einige Geschäfte und Restaurants geschlossen Mitte August, was aber ok war, da man in ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß am Dom war. Ums Eck gab es einen Supermarkt und wenige Straßen weiter eine Bushaltestelle der Linie 13, mit der man zum piazzale Michelangiolo fahren kann. Had a wonderful long weekend (3 night) stay here. It's a short, easy walk from the main tourist strip so simple to get around Florence by foot. It's also easy to get to from the airport with tram and bus to just a few blocks away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room (single room) was spacious with comfortable bed, good shower and all you need for a short break. I ate in the restaurant the first night - it's not the best space, but the food was AMAZING (beef that melted in your mouth) and the cocktail even more so. The bartender is fabulous - the service, knowledge and chat you expect from a five-star hotel in the middle of London or New York. The last night I ate at a nearby local restaurant - there are plenty of choices if you're willing to be adventurous and not looking for a 'tourist trap' restaurant but something more authentic and traditional. If you're looking for fancy luxury hotel, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a comfortable stay, in a clean hotel with friendly staff, and in an area that is away from the chaos of too many tourists but still easy to get around from, at a great price, this is a wonderful choice. I would definitely stay here again.

Fica um pouco afastado do centro, mas é uma ótima opção para quem quer explorar mais da cidade, com acesso fácil e tranquilo. O custo-benefício é bom, o café da manhã é excelente e a acomodação cumpre bem o que promete. A limpeza do chão do quarto deixou um pouco a desejar, assim como o banheiro, que é um pouco apertado. No geral, considerando o valor e a estadia foi super válido.
Fica um pouco afastado do centro, mas é uma ótima opção para quem quer explorar mais da cidade, com acesso fácil e tranquilo. The stay was decent but very inconvenient if you wanted to go anywhere. Taxi service would not go to the hotel unless you reserved your taxi the day before. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was pleasant but the only downfall was the limited public transportation in the area.

Great little bar and bar area with an amazing bar tender who will give a master class on Italian alcohol. Breakfast was good. Staff was all very friendly. Street parking in the blue lines is the only parking, which we found a spot a few blocks down. Not a lot of retail or restaurants in the immediate area, which we were fine with as we had a car. Quiet at night. A good night of sleep.

The owner ( Gentleman) in the office, was very helpful. The lady helping with the breakfast looked very annoyed all the time. The beds, pillows and mattress were terrible. The sheets felt like paper;( The room and the bathroom smelled like a very strong urine. I can still smell it! So gross. The free breakfast was not very good. It was free, I guess!!

El desayuno fue fantástico... café que te preparaban al momento cómo de una cafetería (con opción de bebida vegetal), los bizcochos y dulces muy frescos, huevos revueltos.. yogur, cereales, fruta... Quiche de diferentes ingredientes según el día y lo típico... Embutidos y queso, tomate, pepino...todo muy rico. La habitación y el baño grandes y espaciosos, las camas muy cómodas y muy limpio. Las instalaciones del hotel preciosas, muy bien situado y fácil para llegar a la zona del Duomo, Accademia... Y el personal del hotel encantador... Es uno de los mejores hoteles en los que he estado...muy muy recomendado

Very nice property, lovely staff. Super convenient location if you have a car. An easy walk into the center, and an easy exit from town. Dont miss mercato in Piazza Cure, just on the other side of the train tracks. 4 stars because the beds were classically terrible, hard italian mattresses with equally flat pillows and because despite a request, our mini fridge didnt work. Also, their parking lot behind the property is quite small and you need to call ahead to ensure they save you a spot. The staff were ULTRA helpful and managed to wedge us in and back us out as well. I would consider staying here again...esp if the bedding were improved. :)

Pros are it's a good price for the area, and a nice area, with grest reception staff. The cleaning was just really bad. The inside of the fridge was gross and needed cleaning badly, the mug was never cleaned the whole time I was there, the toothbrush holder was really dirty, and they have a problem with mosquitoes in the room even with the windows closed. They just need to up their game with the cleaning and then this would be perfect for the price.
