The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The only issue was that the pool was closed when we first got there because a decorative wall was leaning and deemed a hazard, but the wall was nowhere near the pool and not leaning in a direction that would endanger anyone. It was taken care of in a couple hours, though, so that was good. Overall, I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends.

We really enjoyed our stay in Seneca at the Hampton. We highly recommend it to others that are thinking about it. Our room was very clean. The beds had several soft pillows on them which we like for sleeping. The dip in the pool was refreshing and clean. You won't be disappointed with choosing this hotel. We chose Seneca because the hotels in Clemson were just too expensive. And it's only like a 10-15 minute car drive to Clemson.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Parking easy and plentiful. Would definitely go back there if visiting the area again!! Loved the steak, eggs and biscuit breakfast on Sunday morning!!

(Rm 301)Morning after arriving, turned on shower and the faucet head fell into the shower. Called downstairs and told them what had happened and they got me a shower on the far end from my location (had to put on clothes to go to the other room and then return to my room). Very upset.

Checked in room at 12:30 am after a long day of traveling. Got to room and there was a huge cockaroach on the wall. Changed rooms but where there is 1 there us always more. Had no chouxe but to stay , everything else was sold out. Very disappointed Ruined trip because nobody in room got sleep.

Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. Temperature control was great. Beds were comfy. The breakfast each morning was great, providing sources of protein and fruits as well as the typical continental selections, but they actually had a vat of grits that were just about the right thickness and consistency - just what a Southern boy needs!

I had a scary stay, the hairdryer sparked while I was using it and the headboard attached to the wall fell on the bed. Thankfully, I was not in the bed when this happened- I would have injured. The manager is ignoring our calls and emails about the incident. I would never stay at this hotel again - I would worry all night if the headboard was going to fall off. Pool was not clean as well. The continental breakfast was very good though.

I found on the first night that the tub did not drain when showering, which made for a less than desirable experience after traveling all day. I alerted the front desk immediately and was told that someone would be by at 7:45am the next day to take care of it. After 3 follow-ups the next morning, maintenance finally showed up at 11am, which completely ruined my plans for the day as I couldn't start getting ready to leave until then. Follow-ups had to be done at the front desk because the room phone also didn't work. Additionally, the room door was almost impossible to open and required quite a bit of force to get into the room each time. I will never stay at this Hampton again. The customer service sucked!
