Good for the snacker. The Italian restaurant was excellent. Cook for egg station in morning is great and professional as is many of the wait staff. Good availability of cocktails for the full service. Need to have more options for food allergies. Chatham was over priced for the meals available. Most of the gym equipment was out of service. Bed was hard, like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Hot water takes forever to reach rooms (even on first floor) and is not consistent. Several areas are under repair or need to be.

En este hotel me asignaron una habitación muy vieja que olía muy mal y además la cerradura principal, no cerraba desde adentro. Pedí que me cambiaran y así lo hicieron. Me pasaron a una sección mucho mas nueva y renovada, pero el ascensor no servía y yo estaba en el piso mas alto. Agradezco que venia un miembro del staff quien me trajo mi equipaje. Mi sorpresa fue que cuando entré a la habitación y la cerradura superior que usualmente tienen las habitaciones de hotel, estaba incompleta (ver foto anexa). Adicionalmente, me doy cuenta que no habia toallas ni jabón de manos. Quise llamar a recepción y el teléfono no tenia linea. Para ese momento, estaba tan exhausta que decidí quedarme allí y usar una pequeña toalla que llevo siempre conmigo y jabón sanitizer que siempre llevo en mi cartera. Mi intención con este comentario es que un hotel bonito y con muy agradable staff debe cuidar los detalles porque allí está la diferencia. Este tipo de situaciones son inaceptables porque se supone que son puntos básicos. Espero que alguien de ese equipo pueda leer el comentario y vean esto como una oportunidad de mejora.

Nightly entertainment, beach across the street, small resort. The only real issue was Not having air conditioning while dining in the buffet. It’s impossible to enjoy the cuisine when it’s too hot and barely any air flow in the Summer.! Noisy with traffic and loud music on the road. Anyone with a balcony or ocean view experienced lots of noise throughout the night.

This is a great all-inclusive hotel near the airport with everything you need for a little getaway -- food, drinks, beach, swimming pool, game room, and more. They have a formal Italian air-conditioned restaurant which is very nice, so be sure to make reservations at the lobby desk near the buffet restaurant after you check-in, as time slots go quickly (first seating 7pm).

From the moment you get there till you leave the staff is truly amazing! Ritchie, Clayton, Tatiana, Niles, Cassandra, Country and the rest of the staff were the friendliest group of people my wife and I have ever met. The beach view was stunning. Food selection was great. Didn't care much for the Italian restaurant, sorry. The nightly entertainment was very enjoyable. Can't wait to return again!

There was some excellent staff however the food was mediocre, I specifically asked the hotel itself through chat if I could get a roll away bed I get there and they tell me they don't offer the service, so me and my 18 year daughter had to share a small bed. The toilet stopped up took 3 phone calls to finally get a plunger. The swimming pool area is really small anf basic. Beach was beautiful however as well as the grounds beautiful trees. I habe been to Jamaica several times and honestly I would not book this hotel again.

The beach is beautiful. The water is very shallow and clear. The beach bar makes burgers and jerk items. The staff is not courteous. There were a handful of people that was nice and provided good service. The property (grounds)is beautiful. The rooms are too old and needs upgrades. The lobby area needs paint and new furniture. The buffet is the only place that had a modern look to it. We had 5 different rooms and only one room was up to par. My friends had no hot water the whole time we were there. The light went out one day and the generator ran out of gas. Food was okay. Some days they made good stuff other days were not great. The house keeping staff is horrible....I had to chase them every night for wash clothes. When you ask for something that's supposed to be in the room, the answer will be we will send it right over only to have to ask or go in person a few times. If you want a great beach and 1 star service then this is your place.

Property has a lot of potential but was poorly kept. Very dirty. There was mold in the bathroom the curtains were dirty, room wasn’t swept. Grounds were dirty. Walls outside were moldy ac units were dripping. I also have pictures.

I enjoyed my 4 days stay at Sea Garden Resort. It is not a luxury hotel but the rooms were clean and well kept. Let’s talk about the food and wait staff, my palate was never disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff courteous, polite and professional. I didn’t encounter any rude staff. It’s good to go back home and experience this level of service. I was thoroughly satisfied.

The staff for the most part was very friendly. But everything else was substandard. Each day we had to request towels and wait several hours to receive them or even make second requests. Our phone in our room did not work it was reported but never fixed. Limited food options and the menu was recycled daily. Our accommodations put a damper on our vacation.

The room that was advertised in the picture had a balcony when we got to the room there was no balcony. We complained and showed the staff the picture and they said they were fully booked not only was there no balcony but the garden/pool view was of the street and parking lot so we couldn’t even open the curtains. The bathroom was dirty the handles were falling off in the shower. We asked for extra towels they didn’t bring them till the next day. We asked for new sheets as water had spilled on the bed they did not bring them I had to use a blow dryer to dry the sheets at 10 at night. The liquor on the property was terrible I did not recognize the names on the bottles and all the alcohol had a overbearing taste. The pool was dirty I personally removed at least 4 empty cups from the pool everytime I went in. There was no elevator to the room. The door man watched us struggle with our suitcases to get inside. The only restaurant open was a buffet and a chicken and burger place by the beach. The food was okay but I prefer not to eat at a buffet every night. What I liked about the hotel the beach was smaller but it was set up like a little cove with shallow calm warm water and it was very clean. The room was large and it was a laid back atmosphere plus a close walk to restaurants/bars ect. I would not recommend this hotel.

The resort was nice, I loved all the food and the beautiful beach! The staff was amazing and very friendly. The only issue we had were getting clean towels and washcloths, it took them hours to bring fresh towels and washcloths to our room. The room had ants everywhere even in the tube! The worst thing was checking in, our room was supposed to be ready by 3pm, our room wasn’t ready until almost 5pm, I was so angry and it was as if customer service didn’t care! We had been at the resort since 7am, was told we could possibly check in early, but didn’t get into our room until 2 hours later! I’m not sure if I’ll stay there again.

WiFi es pésimo! Si van, mejor es que tengan un buen plan de roaming. Habitaciones super limpias e impecables! La Comida es super plain solo para gente local. En algunos casos, un poco picante. Desayuno super pobre. La playa excelente! Muy pero muy buena, solo le falta donde están las escaleras para bajar al mar por varios lados repararlas o poner escalones de metal como cuando entras a las piscinas! Hay comida como Pollo, Hamburguesas, Papa fritas... Y sodas y tragos. Básico pero esta bien. El salón de comida solo tiene abanicos y hace mucho calor (vapor). Le falta mucho al hotel para mejorar y podrían por la ubicación con esa playa privada. Los show de las noches, no son buenos. Honestamente por el precio, esta muy bien pero si eres exigente, no te lo recomiendo. Nosotros la pasamos bien solo por su linda playa... El hip street que esta cerquita del hotel es un malo! No hay vida nocturna. No sirve y lo único que hay es montón de tiendas que venden souvenirs......

Check-in was an issue no sign on where to stand and all locals just would walk by and go up to desk while waiting to be called up. Was on the 10th floor deluxe sea-view beautiful view but night time was horrible the locals just park their cars on the streets and would party all night until after 1:00 am with loud music, motorcycles up and down the street revving engines, talking, yelling and laughing could not sleep at all. It is a shame that this hotel allows this to happen outside their hotel. The top floor room was very nice and beach was very nice. Would not recommend this resort due to the outside night noise on the street it was terrible.

Was on the 10th floor deluxe sea-view beautiful view but night time was horrible the locals just park their cars on the streets and would party all night until after 1:00 am with loud music, motorcycles up and down the street revving engines, talking, yelling and laughing could not sleep at all. It is a shame that this hotel allows this to happen outside their hotel. The top floor room was very nice and beach was very nice. Would not recommend this resort due to the outside night noise on the street it was terrible.

The property was good with authentic Jamaican food. The water took a long time to get hot and re-requested towels, which took 24 hours for them to deliver. We also did not have any television service for a full day. The rooms were also a bit outdated.

Our tv or phone didn’t work properly and the internet was super slow. But overall, our stay was great! The food is awesome, the drinks be hitting, and the beach is right in front of the resort. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed our stay.

Price is very reasonable, however i had few issues. Im pretty sure there isnt enough hot water for certain buildings in the morning because i couodnt get a single hot shower in the morning, 2nd the ac barely felt cool, asked them to look at it no change and yje previous place had a split it cooled the room no issue and that was 2 star resort, finally its odd to me not to have a blanket even on the bed and a dew size pillows..otherwise if yoi get round this its a very clean, friendly stay.

I love the hospitality I would give it a 10/10. However the room wasn’t our favorite. We started off getting upgraded from a standard to a garden view room. Would have preferred to stay in the standard but we decided to give the upgrade a try. Our room was nice, nothing very fancy, there was an AC, a good size closet and a good size bathroom. Ceilings are very high which was something new to me, otherwise simple room. The worst issue we had was the mosquitos which were quite annoying and aggressive, we literally had 7 in the room at once at once point as we killed some more came in, they bit us all night long which was annoying so definitely would recommend bug spray or just don’t stay on the first floor.

1. Before checking the list of registered guests in her hand, the security guard thought it was her duty to ask me if I had just booked that day as it if that question was material. Had she looked on her list and not seen my name, then it would have been legitimate. 2. The front desk agent was great. 3. The rooms were spacious and clean. The carpets and tiles in the common areas have seen greater days. 4. My source of great discontent is that I have never visited any property overseas or locally when a guest could not visit me on property. There are no printed or published signs indicating that this is the policy of the resort. I had major photoshoot scheduled in Rose Hall and my stay at this hotel was literally a pit stop for this event. My MUA arrived and it was at this juncture, I was told about the rule. I requested to speak to a manager and the night manager (who was called and told that I was in front of the front desk personnel) did not think me worthy to have a conversation with or even care about the dilemma I found myself in (which inevitably caused an engagement involving multiple professionals to run hours behind because of the existence of a rule that none of us knew about). This scant disregard and disrespect would have never happened at the Hilton. I promptly checked out and I will never spend my money at an establishment where a Manager has no time to speak directly to guest, where rules are not published and no empathy can displayed to a paying customer.

Nice facilities, clean… but the check in process was awful. We arrived at 11am, knowing the check in was at 3pm… we stayed on the facility waiting for the room, by 3:30pm the room was not ready. While other people arrived and got their room. We needed to talk with manager to resolve the issue. The front desks representatives did not knew what to do… really bad experience.

SeaGarden Resort was wonderful! We had a fantastic time during our week stay in Jamaica. The resort is conveniently located near the airport and walking distance to local shops. The staff at the resort were friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an affordable place to vacation. We will definitely be returning!

Check in was a nightmare. We got to the hotel at 2:30pm. We were told that the room was not ready and to return at 3pm. We return at 3:10pm and was told to come back in 10 minutes because the room was still not ready. We return at 3:40pm and the room was still not ready. At this point I was ready to walk out. The receptionist finally gave me another room. When we got to the room the phone does not work and there were no towels in the room. At the restaurant we waited a long time for a server to bring us our drinks.

Actual resort is very well kept and worth the budget price. There is a club down the street so at night the music is loud and there are cars racing through, but if you are a heavy sleeper or used to city noise at night its not a big deal. Water is beautiful they have someone stand there to have you cross the street to get to the private beach. Locals will try to stop you but if you keep walking they can't go inside. No mosquitos. Beautiful country, locals are nice. Not crowded and plenty of beach chairs for you to choose from.

I wanted somewhere very close to the airport, and this location was perfect! I’m glad I wasn’t swayed by some of the negative reviews—my experience was quite the opposite. The property is well-maintained, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff were generally friendly—though I’ll note that as non-white guests, we did occasionally sense some mixed energy. Upon arrival, the bellman promptly assisted with our luggage and even returned to help again when our room was changed. The hotel and staff were good. We enjoyed the food options. The beach is cozy and nice even though it may not be as large as other options. The main problem we had was the noise outside in the evening. Because of the location of the hotel on the Hip Strip, cars can park outside, over the road and play loud music late into the night. The hotel did offer a change of room but that wouldn't have the ocean view we prefer. While I can't blame the hotel for this, if tourism is a main attraction for the country then all steps should be taken to deal with this issue because guests can decide to stay away just because of this even though the hotel itself is nice.

Me and my boyfriend stayed her for a week at the end of January and we really did enjoy ourselves. Although there are some things I’d like to get into detail about. Food - The food was honestly amazing, coming from a somewhat picky eater, the food at the buffet from breakfast, lunch & dinner was amazing. The taste of the food was wonderful and I never had any complaints. Although there wasn’t a lot of Jamaican food for options. Only thing that was quite annoying was also the Deli. They say they’re open from 11.30am-5.30pm and 11pm-1am every day but you get lucky if you go there and there’s actually somebody to make your food. Half the time we showed up to the Deli, starving, because the buffet wasn’t open yet and there wasn’t anybody there. Room - Our room was great, the AC was nice and cool and I loved how we had a balcony. Our room got cleaned every day if not twice day which we enjoyed. The only complain I’d have is the fact that our TV stopped working the 2nd day we got there. We asked the front desk every day since it stopped working in our 7 day stay and they never did anything about it. Saying there was an IT guy that would come but they never did.
