None of the exterior doors were secured. The door to our room had to be slammed to latch. The room smelled horrible. The sheets, pillows, pillow cases and towels were a brown/yellow instead of white. The bathroom was disgusting. The toilet ran the entire time. The shower was patched with electrical tape and was filthy. Needless to say we did not stay there. We left the room keys on the bed and found a different hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but I chose this hotel because of the seasonal pool and when we arrived at 3:30 ready to swim, we were told that the pool was closed because it needed to be repaired. My kids were so disappointed. It's unfortunate that the website doesn't indicate that the pool isn't operational.

Unaware hotel was under renovation; booked the wrong room moved to another room.Hotel needs an elevator. TV not connected, staff called to connect and did so, Room had holes in the wall near the headboard; holes in the bathroom wear towel holders had been moved.

They people were very nice, but the place is under construction. That is not an excuse to have bed linen that was eaten with holes in it, water damage doors and ceilings. The place does not warrant $188.00 plus fees. Highly disappointed.

Very worn rooms, cracked sinks, bath mats dirty and torn, window treatment falling off, dingy and unclean feel. Outside door didn't shut all the way and unable to latch. The hotel is in the process of installing security cameras, nothing of the mess vacuumed up. When we commented 9n the outside door not latching (i.e. not secured, we were told there was a camera there 🙄, like that's going to do much, basically anyone can enter and wander the hotel.). We were offered our money back and went elsewhere.

The Quality Inn in FarmVille, Va was close to the college we were visiting, on the Main Street and easy to find. However it is old and in desperate need in upgrading. There was no carpeting in the rooms which made the floor cold and hard to walk on. The bathtub had a permanent mat o the bottom of the tub that was peeling up. The toilet seat was loose and slipped every time you sat down. We never were able to log onto the internet. The main hall shows signs of messy painting and ver worn patches in the carpet. The clerk at the desk was very nice and the breakfast was ok.

Due to the connecting door between the rooms, it sounded as if the TV was in my own room. The bathtub was disgusting!! There were roaches in it! The fire detector was broken and left onto of a shelf. Walls are thin so i could hear the guests next to me slamming the bed against the wall. The breakfast is only available 6-9 and not much to choose from. The grounds around it were filthy! Noone to complain to bc noone was ever ar the front desk

Never stay at this hotel. It needs a total renovation. The lock on my door didn't work. The tub faucet dripped constantly. It smelled. The mattress was dirty. The finish on the tub was peeled off. Misleading Photos, Unsafe Rooms, and Poor Cleanliness I booked this hotel based on glowing reviews, attractive photos, and its advertised “non-smoking” policy. The reality was completely different. • Room #1: Reeked of cigarette smoke despite the non-smoking policy. Door lock was broken. • Room #2: No smoke smell, but overwhelming cheap perfume odor. Door lock also broken. • Room #3: Finally had a functioning lock, but the in-room phone was dead and unplugged. When I pulled the nightstand away to plug it in, the area behind was filthy. After three room changes, the issues were consistent: broken locks, poor maintenance, and unacceptable cleanliness. While the staff reassigned me each time, the problems were systemic, not isolated. I will be posting pictures with this review to show the actual condition of the rooms — they are nothing like the polished, professional photos in the advertisements. In my opinion, those photos are highly misleading. I chose to skip the included breakfast entirely because the lack of cleanliness in the rooms made me question the hygiene and safety of the food. This was a deeply disappointing stay. I will not return, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone until there are major improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and honesty in advertising.

This place is a dump and should be razed. For example, instead of replacing a bathroom door, they chose to paint over the rot. The shower curtain looked like someone tried to do pull-ups on it. On top of that, management didn't even bother to fill in the holes left in the wall. The hallways are a generous mix of old, dirty carpets and a drop ceiling ready to literally drop. To their credit, the bed had clean sheets and the little TV was fairly new.

The place really was nice. I love that it didnt have carpet in the room nice hard wood floors and clean. First thing I did was look for bed bugs on the sheets and mattress had a terrible experience with hotel like these i.e. Extended Stay "Holiday Inn" roach on the ceiling and roaches greeting me at bathroom. Anyway off topic. I would recommend this place to family and friends. And my next visit I would come to this place again. Clean and quiet and the beds are comfortable just wish they had Double Queen size beds instead of full size they are small. Also if you want cold rooms let the A/C run for a good 2hrs before you really start ferling the cool. They might need to change the filters. It took awhile before our room even felt cool.

Easy to get to and parking was breeze. Location was great - walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was scheduled to be served at 6am and they had everything out earlier which was great!

I made a reservation in February. I called three days before we were going on our trip to let them know. I would be arriving late so that they wouldn’t give up our room. When I got there, they had given up our room. The room we received had no phone in the room and the TV did not work. The room had a smell to it. It was dirty. The breakfast was very basic housekeeping never came to clean our room. I had to ask for them to come take out the garbage get new towels. It was a sad experience.

Came down to tour Longwood college with my daughter. Got in late, room was not clean, trash in trashcan, dirty towels in bathroom, melted ice in bucket. We did get to switch rooms and it was fine just paint splatter all over floor, and bathroom. They are renovating so be prepared if you stay. Staff is friendly and location is nice

It was convenient location for what we needed & price and probably as clean as it would get but the breakfast options were limited, staff was on a "smoke/social break" when needed and I had to go outside to get her. We also were glad that we were on the second floor, given the questionable activity. I expected more out of a quality inn.

Be careful! My bag was stolen from the parking lot and re-appeared the next day having been rifled through. Lots of scumbags and shady people stay and work here. The owner didn't seem to care and doesn't have cameras over the parking lot. I would strongly recommend you stay elsewhere.

Even though the hotel was fully booked, it was very quiet. There were plenty of parking spaces that were close to the building. What really impressed us was how nice the staff were. They allowed us to check in a little early, instead of making us wait. The room was extremely clean. I have seen 4 star hotels that were dirtier. The building was old and repairs were visually obvious. However, there were plenty of convenient outlets, the fridge was quite large, and the TV had full DirectTV subscription. We had a king bed and it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had at a hotel. Overall, we would gladly come here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom, specifically the shower, was unacceptable. It is a bad renovation gone wrong. The tub is slanted, unstable, holds water, and has been painted. The bathroom door has been badly painted with patched holes, and does not close. The breakfast in the morning was fine and the staff was attentive when needed. I did let the staff know about the issues in the room. They said that they would let maintence know…. This is a much bigger issue than maintence can easily repair. Avoid room 118.
