Wir hatten gebucht ein Barrierefreies Zimmer und ein Standard Zimmer. Beim Barrierefreien Zimmer war eigentlich fast alles in Ordnung. Eine Ecke von der Wandverkleidung im Badezimmer war komplett aufgequollen und aufgerissen und die Durchgangstür ins Nebenzimmer war nicht versperrt. Im Standardzimmer wars wesentlich "abgewohnter". Eine der Schiebetüren im Bad war defekt und hing schief, der Kleiderhaken war ausgerissen, die Klobrille locker, die Bodenfliesen in Bad waren locker und die Kaffeemaschine komplett verkalkt und extrem laut. Mich hat persönlich hat auch gestört, dass man die Klima nicht auf heizen stellen konnte. Was das Service betrifft. Es waren hier alle freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als wir Abendessen gegangen sind, haben wir für unser Zimmer noch um eine zweite Bettdecke gebeten. Diese wurde uns an der Rezeption sofort zugesagt. Nach vier Stunden kamen wir zurück ins Zimmer und keine Bettdecke. Nach einem weiteren Anruf und Wartezeit hatten wir dann eine Decke bekommen. Mein Zimmerwunsch mit Blickrichtung Reichsbrücke wurde nicht erfüllt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war top! Hier finden sämtliche Gäste aller Nationen und Religionen etwas passendes. So im Nachhinein bin ich ehrlich gesagt massivst enttäuscht. Im Harry's Home in der Milleniumcity bekomme ich bei ähnlich guter Aussicht mehr Qualität und Service für weniger Geld. Das Zimmer ist im Hotel Ibis Messe ist in einem besseren Zustand als im Melia.

The staff are very nice - no complaints there. But a room service menu with 4 items, nothing vegetarian, nothing really edible in the building was a let down. Given the hotel is in the CBD, instead of closing their main restaurant on Sunday and Monday they should make it available as there is nothing else nearby. Do not be fooled by Donauinseln either, it’s just tourist crap in hot weather with no aircon and sun beating down. I booked for 4 nights and we left after 2 moving to the Hilton, which is closer to real restaurants and cafes, museums, etc, cheaper, and nicer. We gave them the room back 2 days early and asked if they could please reimburse the 4th night given they had no food we could eat but they refused. They did let us off on mini bar items, which was nice but I would have preferred something for dinner rather than Pringles and sparkling water. In addition, the carpet in the room was old and filthy. It used to be close to shag and now matted down and dirty. Oh and there is no way to watch the TV - from the bed or the couch! And of course no movies or content worth watching!

Was gefiel uns: Großes Zimmer, ein sehr schönes Badezimmer. Gutes Frühstück. Was gefiel uns weniger: Starke Bautätigkeit direkt neben dem Hotel. Es entsteht ein weiterer Wolkenkratzer direkt nebenan. Hätten wir hiervon Kenntnis gehabt, hätten wir hier nicht gebucht. Baulärm war bei geschlossenem Fenster aber kein Problem. Insgesamt war die Lage dann doch nicht ideal für uns gewesen. Zu sehr Büroviertel, zu viel Beton, für uns zu wenig Charme. Mobiliar im Wohnbereich teilweise abgewohnt (Tischplatte aufgequollen, Zustand des Schränkchens mit der Kaffeemaschine/Minibar war nicht gut). Das man vom Toilettensitz durch die Dusche ins Wohnzimmer und aus dem Fenster schauen konnte, hat dazu geführt, dass wir vor dem Toilettengang und dem Duschen die Vorhänge schließen mussten. Das ist zwar modern aber für uns doch eher unpraktisch.

Sehr schöne moderne Zimmer, tolles Bad und riesige Dusche, bequeme Betten, Zimmer absolut ruhig und gut zu verdunkeln, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Lage ist etwas abseits aber in wenigen Minuten mit der U-Bahn von der Innenstadt aus erreichbar.

The hotel is at a perfect location if you are going to a convention here. But it will take sometime to downtown area for food. Especially if you have jetlag and get hungry in the middle of the night, you will have to take subway to go get some food. Hotel staffs are friendly, helpful and attentive. Tables and night stands are little worn. But the rooms are very clean. Overall, it's not a bad experience.

The room was very nice on the 11th floor with a full 100% view on Vienna & the donau. Very nice. Nice seats in the room, good bed, very nice bathroom with a nice bath and a great shower. Breakfast on the 57th floor is better than on the ground floor and very quit. Personal very helpful and friendly. Business wise a very good option, privately I prefer a hotel closer to the city center.

Nothing like a five star rating this property displays. It 3 or maybe 3.5 at most. No one came to clean the room on the day before check out. The rooms are small, shower area is large and wasted. Very dim lights in the bathroom. There was no mirror in the room or the passage. Not a very satisfying experience.

What a fabulous hotel. The room was beautiful the only criticism is that we couldn’t get the temperature below 20 The staff were very efficient and friendly . 57 lounge was a great space and we enjoyed pre dinner drinks there. Breakfast on 57 was a little disappointing service was slow and there was no English breakfast tea The choice for breakfast we felt was better on the ground floor .

Worst experience at this melia vienna hotel. Staff were very rude. Our room phone was not working, so difficult to call reception room service. It wasn't fixed until the day before we left. We were staying for 5 nights.

Be very weary of booking this property. They have a lot of rigid booking policies that work in their favour. If you make a mistake or need to change your booking it is impossible to change without loosing all your money. I made an error on the dates we were coming and the only way to change dates was to cancel the booking (and loose 90% of our money) and make a completely new booking. They only allow booking changes 7 days prior to arrival. We phoned/messaged/emailed within ten minutes of booking the room online and they would do nothing to help us. We spent 4 days going back and forth trying to find a solution...they were very inflexible and their policies just felt like a big money scam. We wanted to keep our booking for two nights just changed the check in by one day. We lost $400 and they would do nothing to help. Just kept referencing their policies. They lack humanity and compassion. Think twice before booking this place!

The Melia is a fine establishment with much to offer its guests. I highly recommend a package with The Level access. The location in Donau City provides a nice reprieve from the business of the inner city. Although there are few points of interest around the hotel, there is easy access to transportation.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Standort ist sehr gut mit der U-Bahn Station der Linie U1 fast vor der Tür, eine HoppOn-Bus-Linie in der Nähe und dazu noch die Fußgängerbrücke direkt am Hotel auf die Donauinsel, Perfekt. Zimmer waren schön und sauber. Was richtig enttäuschend war, ist das Frühstück im Level-Restaurant. Es fehlte immer mindestens 4-5 Sachen beim Frühstückbuffet. Teller, Gläßer, Säfte, Aufschnitt, Obst, im Grunde alles. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht aber den Mangel konnte es nie beseitigen. Das Frühstückbuffet war immer sehr leer. Einiges wurde regelmäßig nachgefüllt, andere Dinge wie die Säfte z.B. nie. Anders sieht es im Erdgeschoss aus, das Frühstücksbuffet war immer vollständig. Wir wurden allerdings jeden morgen gebeten oben zu frühstücken, weil es unten zu voll war. Bei dem Preis für das Frühstück plus zuschlag für Level empfinde ich das als frech.

This hotel is not 5 star. It was well overpriced and does not compare to 4 or 5 star hotels I have stayed at. The food was average and the service was non existent. I paid almost £100 for a room service meal that was at best cafe standard. Then I asked for some tea bags for the room and the girl in the restaurant area said she would need to speak to her manager as they would need to charge for the tea bags. I only wanted 4 bags from the breakfast dining area. The tea bags were then sent to my room 8 hours later! Severely over priced hotel. I would not recommend it. It is a 3 star at best.
