The Hampton Inn in Kingston, Ontario was a really enjoyable stay. The breakfast buffet was well done, and the staff stood out as genuinely kind and welcoming. The hotel is nice and clean. Friendly front staff. The pool is extremely small for the size of the hotel. Only 13ppl allowed at a time. My hotel room was bigger then the pool. The breakfast is basic and definitely wasn't worth my family and I waking up in the morning for it. I will not be returning to this hotel.

This was a nice, new hotel. The staff were friendly and on top of our requests before we arrived. The breakfast was really good and had various options each day. The pool and hot tub were very good temperatures and we really enjoyed them, although it would be even better with salt water instead of chlorine. Minor detail as we had a great stay!

Great location. Needed updating. Furnishings in hall for example had worn edges on some pieces. It would be better to remove them. Could use a deep clean on baseboards etc. Asked for towels twice but didn't get them. Garbage not changed in the 4 days we were there. In fact no sign of anyone checking the room.

We stayed overnight and immediately noticed how fresh the hotel looked and how clean the hallways/carpeting was. That is usually a good sign that the room will be the same and we weren’t disappointed. Room was immaculate. Bathroom the same. Everything sparkled. We loved the blackout blind that was on a remote switch. No fussing with drapes. Bed was comfortable and sheets luxuriously soft. The only thing that was bothersome was that the air conditioning unit in our room was very loud/squeaky when I suspect it shouldn’t have been. Not a big deal when awake, but bothersome when trying to sleep.

Overall the stay was nice, clean rooms and comfortable beds… The morning after our first night, we requested that the towels and wash cloths.be replaced with fresh ones and just an overall quick cleanup and garbage removal. We returned to the room later that evening and found that nothing was done as we had requested. I went down to the service desk to ask why it was not done and what could be done about it. She replied that there might have been confusion with the room number but I assured her that the girl at the front desk asked my name and I was very clear with answering. She then sent someone to bring new bath towels. By the time I returned to the room the guy had already been there, gave my wife bath towels and left leaving all the used ones on the bathroom floor. Having told my experience for the third time now, I am able to say…overall not bad…but

The room was nice and breakfast was good, but the bathroom sink faucet lever fell off in our hands on first use and the shower gel pump dispenser was empty so that was a bit of a bummer to discover when you're already in the shower and need to use the body wash! Don't understand how housekeeping could miss such obvious things. Maintenance came and fixed the lever on the faucet and it worked great after that - just surprising that whoever cleaned the room didn't report the faucet problem or refill the body wash dispenser...

Very happy with our stay at this location with Hampton Inn by Hilton. Very clean, inside and out! Beautiful flower beds and grounds. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. And to top it all off, they offer a nice hot breakfast until 10 am! Lots of variety. Thank you to all staff members.

While our room was clean, we booked a 2 Queen which was clearly a 2 double. Undersized bed made it difficult for four people to share we well our air conditioner was grinding off and on all night. We even asked if roll away beds were possibly due to the size of the beds. Not happy with our stay.

The room was cold. The heaters don’t work when we turned them on. Cold air was coming through the door too. No extra blankets. It was cold. Other than that, room was spacious and comfortably cold. Take your own portable heater if you plan on staying at this hotel.

~~we had a great 2 day stay at this location! The staff was beyond friendly and felt very genuine in their attempt to ensure you had a great stay! We liked that it was out of town a bit, not as busy. Very clean, updated and large room. The only thing we didn't enjoy was that the tv channels were terrible. Mostly news and sports, would have been nice to be able to stream netflix ect. When we wanted to relax at night with the kids. Otherwise, would highly recommend!

This might be a stupid thing to not pick but the tv system had no guide and it was incredibly frustrating to flip through channels and wait for commercials to see what was on! Other than that, we could not say anything negative. Staff was great. Room was great. Breakfast was great. Pool and hot tub were great! Convenient location to highway as well as an easy drive to downtown. Highly recommend!

The room and hotel was great. Modern, clean etc. However the breakfast was disappointing. Not much of a selection, cold quiche and baked beans! Utensils were paper plates and wooden knives and forks. Like camping! I understand the eco factor but when you’re paying over $200 per night it should be better. Don’t stay there for the food!

Stayed with my family for two nights. The hotel is not in the downtown, but it only takes about 10 minutes to drive there, so it is quite convenient. The room was absolutely clean and tidy, and the facilities were very new, thanks to the hard work and high standards of the housekeeping staff. The stay was comfortable. The front desk and restaurant staff were polite, and the buffet breakfast had many choices. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Kingston.
