Corales Suites

The staff was very welcoming and they stored our luggage while we waited to check in as we came in early. The hotel is very close to the beach where there is a wonderful beach club down the path behind hotel. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was in the area. Upon check in we found our apartment as photos were posted. Very cozy and we enjoyed our stay. There is a lovely pool area with lounge chairs which were very comfortable. We’d come back again. Thank you Ivan and Daniel and staff. We hope to see you again!

Short walk to the beach. Friendly staff. Clean pool with padded lounge chairs. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Many options for fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving in town. No food or drinks (including coffee) are available at Corales Suites. There is a small refrigerator in the room, but no personal safe or microwave in the room. A hair dryer can be checked out at the office.

Check-in was slow and our room wasn't ready. The location is excellent with the beach basically half a block away. The rooms were fine but the shower heads really need to be soaked or replaced. They spray everywhere with no real pressure so it's hard to wash your hair. Parking was really convenient and inside the gated lot.

I was very impressed with this place. The pool was clean, the location was central, the beach trail behind the villa was conveniant, a 30 step walk to the beach. The staff was friendly. Zero complaints from our family. We will be returning from Canada. Thanks for accommodating us last minute Corales Suites.

Excellent location with a brief walk to the beach and a small view of the ocean with ocean sound audible. Reception staff very helpful in showing us the booked toom and then assisting in securing a different room when that one was not qcceptable Sheets were old but clean.Water was provided initially in a 5 gallon container. Parking onsite very nice.

Great location - very close to the beach and walking distance to many great places to eat and anything you may need. The room was fine for the price, apart from water leaking in through the closed window and all over the floor when the garden was watered. Unfortunately they kept running out of water for showering and when there was water it was cold and the pressure was hopeless.The pool was nice - but closed for a day of our stay for maintenance. The staff seemed nice.

L’emplacement est très bien. Le staff est gentil. La chambre est propre et les draps aussi. La cuisine est bien équipée. L’hôtel manque d’amour. La piscine est un peu sale, les meubles de la chambre sont défraîchis. Je m’attendais à un peu plus pour le prix que nous avons payé.

Overall a nice experience. The property is not “beachfront” as described, but only a block away. I’d say my main complaint would be the couches. Two dirty, uncomfortable mismatched love seats. They looked like they were picked up off the side of the road. Otherwise, everything was clean, location was nice. Parking was limited inside the gates, but available on the street out front.

The pool always had a film. The reception acted like I was always bothering her. They charge you a fee for a beach or pool towels, and refund it when you leave. The bath towels looked dirty. The kitchen was filthy. The pictures that they show on Expedia or their website are when they first opened the place looks nothing like the pictures. Matter fact the patio and balcony were so dirty and the lounge chairs by the pool were filthy with stains When they showed us our room. There was a dirty pair of panties on our balcony. The room had no iron or hairdryer. That was another fee all around the place was just filthy.

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get something better. The kitchen is barely equipped, the A/C in our room hardly cooled, chlorine was added to the pool while we were about to get in, and you have to put a deposit on towels to use at the pool.

Staff was very nice it was quiet and easily walkable to the main strip and the beach. The property does feel a little older than what the pictures reflect. We had some ants on the day we were checking out and if you didn’t cover the drain to the shower the bathroom smelled like sewer. We had a partial ocean view which had a good sized balcony. Cozy, quiet would probably come back

My junior suite was perfect. It was clean, well equipped with the basics and the staff were helpful.

Excellent location! 1BR suite has plenty of space. Staff,when available, were polite and helpful. We had total loss of water 3 or 4 times, once we were able to contact the staff they were able to get it up and running. Kitchen was poorly equipped for anyone who planned on cooking. I must admit that I basically just made do with what was there. If I had asked the staff for more, like a pot with a lid to make rice,they probably would have helped.

Corales suites is perfectly located 1 row back from the beach and a 5 minute walk into the plaza. Chedraui grocery store is 6-7 minute walk and there are numerous restaurants on the same street as the hotel. Very safe to walk around and many people walk at night. Now for the cons-reception area only open 9 am-5pm. After hours you must go around the corner to check in. There are 2 building and they are more like apartments. We were in 5B 1 bedroom but it was more like a studio with a glass wall around the bed area as they only want to have AC for the sleeping area and no AC for kitchen/living room. Kitchen has nothing except basic cookware. No salt/pepper, oil. They provide bottled water and dish soap. They only provide 1 knife and it was really dull. Asked to have a sharper knife at reception and it wasn’t provided. Fridge stopped working after a couple of days barely keeping food cold and ice cube trays wouldn’t freeze. They finally replaced it once it died. Bathroom is pretty bad with a HORRIBLE a shower head which sprays out everywhere except in a stream so can’t wash your hair. We told reception that the shower head is bad and plugged due to calcium buildup and Ivan at reception just shrugged. Very small sink, no counter space. No daily cleaning or towels replaced unless you ask to have the room clean with a 24 hour notice. We had a very small view of the ocean on the balcony. Area is quiet. Bed had a mattress pad so it was ok. Would stay again if they fixed issues.

Average hotel suitable if you need to book last minute loding and can't find much else in Puerto Morelos. Very bright bedroom - almost no curtains, plus hard mattress and pillows means you need to be exhausted (or drunk) to get a good nights sleep. TV streaming services don't work - it just spins. Lots of junk / storage piled up on backside of unit - views from bedroom and kitchen were old furniture, ladders, and trash bags. No direct beach access. Won't be back.

Pleasantly surprised with the size! Loved that it had 3 separate rooms! Service was very friendly and accommodating. Close to town and the beach is almost at the back door. I would recommend and stay again.

If you’re budget traveling this is a great place to stay in Puerto Morelos. The property is in a fantastic location next to the beach. The balcony of our apartment looked out over a beautiful building across the way and had a partial ocean view. We enjoyed that feature! The funky challenges: The kitchen has only the bare bones basics. We would have liked a cutting board, but where’s the adventure in that?! The bedroom has glass walls at the top so when the early riser in your party wakes up, they either need to fumble around in the dark or turn on the lights that inevitably illuminate the bedroom. We did appreciate the lamps in the living room. The AC is only in the bedroom, so our apartment got a little stuffy with the afternoon sun, but the ceiling fans kept it comfortable. We were very thankful to find a smart TV to tune into Netflix. This place is not for everyone with its quirks, but we really enjoyed our stay. I would book our second floor 4B room again.

Pros: location, AC, bed was fine, good wifi, very safe, pretty clean BUT - property could use a giant face-lift. My biggest complaint is that the photos are NOT indicative how the hotel looks anymore. The living room furniture was worn out, so were the kitchen appliances (everything did work, though). No rhyme or reason to any of the decor - just a bunch of random pieces of furniture and a couple of art prints. Shower head spewed water all over the place. Guest services were very limited, nobody there after 5. Had to go downstairs to get new bath towels, which is when I also found out that you have to request housekeeping to clean your room. No lamp in the bedroom area, had to take the one lamp out of the living room area. Pool area could be better by adding more plants and cleaning up some. Just a little work and this place could be really cute, but as of right now, it's pretty dated. They also need a guest book that explains things like housekeeping, how to get more bath towels, etc. No hair dryer in the room, but I saw in another review that you can get one from the desk with a deposit. Overpriced for Mexico, but not terribly. More of a 90 dollar a night place, IMO. Everyone that worked there was nice, and housekeeping did a great job once we figured out we had to request cleaning. All of this being said, I'd probably stay there again if there was nothing else available (better) in that specific spot - location really couldn't be beat and the staff was friendly.

The staff are the best! Very attentive to all our needs! Hotel is old but well maintained.Staying another 22 days and very satisfied! Danny and all the staff go above and beyond . Would definitely revommend!

Very nice and quiet. We were there for a weeks and only got fresh towels cause we asked. The the place was not cleaned while our stay, even though we asked.

We got there shortly after 5 PM and they had already left so check in was that another hotel a few blocks away. For $200 a day you would expected the entire room would be air-conditioning not just the bedroom.. It is near the ocean, but definitely not oceanfront. Very simple, clean accommodation. no service to speak but at least the checkout girl got us a taxi to the airport

Corales is situated about 4 blocks from the Town Square, so it's walkable, but less noise! Amazing staff! Friendly and attentive staff as always, high marks for professionalism to our friend Daniel! He's awesome!

The water in the shower didn’t drain well at night as other have said but it didn’t flood or anything so who cares? The town was about a 10 minute walk, super close to the beach and we loved the Paradise Beach Bar right behind the hotel.

The hotel was okay. Nothing spectacular, but the location is great and we felt very safe walking from the property to the beach and to access shopping and restaurants.

The property is well located, it’s a walking dintace from the Main Street with bars and restaurants and only two block from the beach. Very convenient . The condition of the building is ok, the units are cozy but don’t expect luxury . The first room that we were given had a problem with the AC unit , so the staff offered to move to a different room, that’s was very nice from them.

We were a adult family of four the two bedroom garden suite was perfect. One block to the public beach. 15 min walk to el centro

Great location

Great place , location is fabulous, literally one house between the beach and Corales Suites and is a 10 minutes walk to town centre. The beds could use an upgrade , cooking pots, cutting board, sharp knife and a salad bowl would have been nice , there was very minimal in the kitchen. But we made it work and would absolutely stay there again !

Corales was a perfect place for us! It was clean, comfortable, quiet, within walking distance to many restaurants and town square. Collectivo picks up out front to go to the Colonial. They offer beach towels and beach chairs. Beach is across a small street. Paradise Beach club is directly behind and they offer loungers - etc for 500 pesos consumption. Danny at the front desk is SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful. This is not the place for you if you are looking for luxury. Already booked for March!

The suites were lovely the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was not stocked very much. I’m glad we hadn’t planned on cooking! The bathroom was fine, but they could supply more towels. We were traveling as a group, so I had reserved 3 rooms. One of the rooms didn’t have drinking water. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely book again.

We loved staying at Corales Suites. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the ocean. The full kitchen was nice to save money dining out. Although we did a lot of that too. It was a short walk to many dining options. Corales was kept very clean and the staff was super. The wonderful beach was steps away. And the My Paradise Beach Club was near by. No complaints here.
