The Quincy, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Great location! I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, it's conveniently located near The Mall, The White House, and all the museums, all of which are about a 15-20 minute walk. There's a lot of food options around too--Wawa around the corner, several coffee shops, pizza, sandwich shop, Nando's (try this restaurant if you haven't yet!). Also there's a LAZ parking garage that's much cheaper than the garage next to the hotel. As fast as the hotel, the staff was all super friendly and nice, it was very clean, comfy beds, nice sheets, and the kitchenette was fantastic (fridge, microwave, electric mini stovetop, mini dishwasher, sink, and they even provided utensils, dishes, pots, and pans. The hotel also offered free coffee all day and some beverages. Keep in mind this hotel is pet-friendly if you're bringing your furry friend along. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Decent hotel, clean room, firm yet comfortable beds, decent location. Our room had some water damage in the bathroom door, but otherwise it was well kept. The staff was friendly enough. The only real downsides of our stay were that the halls were pretty warm and only one of the elevators worked, so sometimes the wait in the heat was extensive. If you stay here, I'd recommend requesting a room NOT facing the main street (L street NW) since at night every street racer and police siren WILL keep you awake.

Great location in downtown with reasonable price! Walkable to the White House, monuments, memorials.... Georgetown close by. Great dining options around. Newly renovated with style and spacious. Staff helpful and welcoming. Lobby offers free popcorn, lemonade, ice tea, happy hour wine and great coffee! Brilliant experien e that i cannot recommend enough. We ll be back to this hotel!

The first night we had a room next to a bunch of kids that were out of control. Called the desk with, no answer. In the morning, we moved rooms. Had only 1 elevator working. First night was horrible, other 2, OK.

The overnight parking for $60 a night left a lot to be desired especially for”valet parking”” on weekends. Otherwise efficient hotel.

Wonderful location. Enjoyed the complimentary lemonade, iced tea and coffee. Having the kitchen in the room was a great convenience.

Perfect hotel for our family’s trip to DC! Great location, close to the Metro, easy access to the city and good restaurants nearby. Very clean, convenient kitchenette in the room, and small but nice gym. Would definitely recommend!

I love how spacious the rooms are. I also love the fact that it is like a studio apartment, with the mini-kitchen, utensils and silverware. Most hotel rooms these days are not as big, so it was a welcome change. The staff were very gracious in providing an early check-in and also were very friendly. The constant drinks and coffee downstairs was extremely helpful, along with the popcorn. However, I would have preferred thicker walls as we could hear not only the TV from the other rooms, but also the conversations they were having. It woke us up in the morning and kept us up at night. If the rooms were soundproof, they would get a perfect rating from me.

The staff was very helpful. Ephrem, the valet and others were very good about helping us retrieve items from the car and responding in a timely manner. The candy jars behind the counter were a hit with my kids and Ivonne took joy in giving them treats and making them happy. The hotel was in good shape and the room was modern and comfortable. The kitchen area was a great perk, making it easy to eat in the room and store snacks. The (semi)attached restaurant featuring Peruvian cuisine was awesome. Amazing ceviche and chicken dishes. Breakfast was a bit of a challenge. There is a bagel place across the street, but it is closed on Sunday. The area caters to a business crowd and was a little less open/active on weekends. We appreciated the short walk to the metro and the White house so we could start our sightseeing easily.

I got 2 rooms, 2 ppl in each. I liked how this hotel is situated in a very convenient spot in the heart of downtown DC - easy access to metro and buses and food next door and nearby. But the comforters in both rooms had small blood smears on them. Mine had a lot so I asked front desk for a replacment. They did so quickly, but my replacemrnt also had blood smears and questionable faint yellowish circles. I gave up and just used the bottom sheet and top sheet as a barrier. Beware also if you get a room facing the road. It stays busy at night and every night we were woken by loud cars doing donuts, police sirens, ambulances, and loud drunks. Overall decent price for what you get but would not go again for the lack of cleanliness and noise.

Very nice looking hotel. Kind staff, very responsive to questions. Great amenities. Our shower never got warm- and we asked about it and they never serviced it. Our room had wood/laminate floors and I don't think they swept them. Our bed was so noisy we were almost afraid to shift out of fear of waking the other.

I want to mention that the cleanliness in this place is incredible and I had the pleasure of meeting the Housekeeping that attended my room, her name is Ana, she started working from the beginning that the Hotel opened, I’ll be back soon!!

The property was okay. There was homeless around the property block by the Wawa. Not really something that can be controlled by the hotel but it does not elevate the stay experience either. The kitchen and bedroom was up to date. I really like having a modern fridge especially with young children staying with me. The bathroom was okay. It was rather tiny, modern as well with mild dust and the sink kept backing up. They charged be an extra night accidentally but quickly rectified the issue when I contacted the front desk. Parking was convenient but it somehow cost more with my stay than if I used the same parking lot publicly. Like $10 more a night. Not sure if that’s admin fee or because we’re able to go back a forth with our vehicles when the garage was closed. Otherwise the staff was nice and willing to help when I needed them.

Nice employees and great cleaness was so impressed

The room was clean, nice, and spacious. There is housekeeping everyday if you don't put the "do not disturb sign" outside the door. Overall, I enjoyed staying at The Quincy and will stay here again if I come back to DC.

Absolutely beautiful! The staff were very helpful, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel’s location is very convenient! The complimentary refreshments in the lobby is also fabulous! Will be back for sure.

We came at 8pm ,ours room was very smelly not good,no water for drinking. We lef our room very early because it was smelling and noisy.

BED BUG ALERT! I had the misfortune of staying at the Quincy Ascend 6/6/25-6/8/25 for the World Pride event. At approximately 3:30am on 6/8/25, a bedbug crawled across my pillow. A picture was taken, and the bug was killed. We were moved to a new room at 5am. Upon checkout the next day, we inquired as to what they would be doing to address the issue. They advised that management was informed and they would reach out to us first thing Monday morning. I emailed Sirey Reyes (Operations Manager) Monday morning her notifying her that a bedbug was found in the room and that we had to purchase a heater and new luggage. The picture of the bedbug was provided. The response I received was "We have already scheduled a licensed pest control company to inspect the room thoroughly. The inspection is set for Thursday, June 12th. We must wait for the results of the inspection before discussing any potential compensation." The General Manager, Ibrahim Bajrami, was copied on this email. Pictures of the bedbug bites that started to appear on 6/10/25 were sent to management along with a copy of the invoice for the heater. On 6/12/25, I received an email stating "no signs of bed bug activity or infestation were found in either room". They then stated they will not be proceeding with reimbursement at this time. I have since disputed all charges for this hotel to cover the extra expenses and will be filing a report with the Washington DC Health Department. Do not stay here!

Friendly staff, large, immaculate rooms with a comfy bed!

The room was big and the bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great stay and would stay again at this hotel.

Clean, nice rooms with plenty of space. Lots of dinning within walking distance. Walking distance to Whitehouse and monuments.

Good hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. The downside was the noise, which I think came from the floor above. People moving furniture, hammering in the morning. The doors are not well insulated

Loved the Quincy!! It’s in a great location close to the Farragut metro stations. Room was large, newly refurbished, comfortable and clean, with nice kitchen and bath. Room has blackout blinds. Highly recommend the Quincy!!! I’m sure we’ll return at some point.

I just have mixed feelings on this place. It was clean. But because the allow dogs my allergies were bad so I guess it's not cleaned that well. The kitchen was nice but not needed for this weekend trip. Beds were comfortable. Walls are thin. We could hear all types of noises. The loud talking and noises from room service people. They were right outside the door. Then there's the people nextdoor. In the bathroom you could hear through the vents. To top it off, you could hear everything from the streets. A guy was yelling f*** you for over an hour. The people above us was scraping a chair across the floor until about 1 am. So we didn't get much sleep. We were on the 9th floor. The bathroom is very small, and no ventilation. The light is very bad. We had every light on during the day and it was still dark. We had an event to attend so if was difficult getting dress and putting on makeup. We did not spend much time in the hotel. They offer free coffee, popcorn, tea, lemonade in the lobby. There's much amenities, like I'm use to. Then there's the parking situation. 60+ dollars for valet parking. I choose to skip that. We we're barely there. We found parking nearby. Some garages close at 10 and open at 6 am. So if that works for you, it's only a quarter of the price. Street parking can be rough, you just have to read the signs. But I'm happy we save $70 by skipping valet parking. Overall I wouldn't stay again.

The Quincy was great! Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Our room had a kitchen as well with a large fridge. The room was also very quiet, which in a city as large as DC is very impressive. We could sleep through the night easily. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Overall property was good. Parking was not well marked and the front desk didn’t seem to know the process. They had 6 different pending charges of over $100 each on my credit card. My reservation was prepaid. Eventually they fell off except for the accurate one for parking. Thankfully I had room and it didn’t push my card over the limit.

Staff were amazing and wonderful. Any question or problem i had they resolved quickly. Se habla espanol.

The reason for The One Star over all rating is because of one female staff person who was rude just to me, and didn't help us when checking out. The rest of the staff was awesome but only takes one mean mean person to get you this bad over all rating people. And I complained about her on Friday to other staff, And nothing was done. We stayed a whole week.

Highly recommend this fantastic hotel. The whole experience was flawless. From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcome. The staff on the attentive reception, the helpful concierge and meticulous cleaning staff - all excellent professionals who know how to keep guests very happy. Extremely warm and welcoming. I’ll recommend this hotel to family and friends!

We stopped by for a night after a very long driving in the middle of the night and we were welcomed warmly by James and the check in process was quick and no hassle. With a toddler and a dog, it was definitely very appreciated. The room was very clean and updated! I love the kitchen even though we did not use it! There's a stove and a full size fridge! The check out process was also quick and no hassle. Forgot one set of our car keys when the valet driver started it for us. We just drove away because we have a spare key and didn't realize until we stopped by to get lunch and saw that they were calling us to drive the keys to us which was a service going above and beyond! They didn't have to but the offer definitely shown the level of care that this team can offer. We met the GM (I think his name was Ibrahim) while checking out, and he was very friendly and very down to earth! I was very surprised for the quality of the service, hotel condition and the amenities available, and the proximity of the location to downtown DC for the price I paid for the night. It's worth more than that. I would definitely stay again the next time we visit D.C. Thank you for welcoming our little family for a day/night!

I was skeptical bc the internet has a way of making places look different from reality but from first setting foot in the lobby the staff was wonderful, friendly, accommodating and eager to make sure our stay was a wonderful one! We arrived in the morning. The hotel is in a nice convenient location just blocks from the White House. We asked if we could drop our luggage off, “No problem! We will keep it safe and secure for you” When we arrived back after check-in time they had a free wine reception, which was nice. They then quickly gave us our room key and said please let us know if you need anything. The room was clean, modern and spacious with a full kitchen. It looked exactly like the photos. They gave us a high floor as requested. Each time we arrived back after a day of exploring the staff always greeted us with warm smiles and a welcome back. We stayed 4 nights. There was 0 issues, not even noise. If I had to say one negative but it’s not even really an issue but hotter water would have just made it even better. It was hot but after a Looooong day of walking I like to soak my achy muscles and feet in a HOT HOT bath. We will definitely stay here again. You simply will NOT find a better deal for this area and everything you get.

Everyone was hospitable and made sure everything was okay. There were different options for food around the hotel. The hotel was in close proximity to all of the parks, monuments, and museums.

The hotel is in a noisy neighborhood but a pair of ear plugs fixed that. The staff were all uber friendly. The room was spacious and very clean and the bed was remade without having to make a special request. It is very near the metro and overall was a pleasant and very convenient place to stay.

Great location, close walk to the Metro.

Stayed here while taking my daughter to visit colleges. This was the perfect location. The hotel is in a great area, close to downtown and Georgetown. It was safe and clean. The room was lovely.

This hotel is well located for leisure and business travelers. It is close to public transport, sight of interest, dining and shopping. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped. The staff is friendly and responsive.

Wonderful hotel, friendly and awesome staff! The tea is so refreshing and coffee maker is a great touch in the lobby along with popcorn and wine in the afternoon. Easy to get around and the best pizza place ever DC Pizza right around the corner. We would love to stay here again!

Everything was okay but i graded it Good instead of Excellent because there was no breakfast. Some hotels offer breakfast

We LOVED out stay at the Quincy. Super comfy and spacious. Very walkable. If you love pizza, check out DC pizza around the corner. Everything you need is near the quincy. We picked it because of the full fridge in the room (nursing mom) and we will be back because of the comfort.

We had a great stay! Large room with a really nice kitchen area:dishwasher, garbage disposal, full fridge, stove top. Conveniently located for seeing the museums and monuments. Coffee, tea and lemonade in lobby! But coffee shop, deli for great breakfast across the street! We asked for a couple things during our stay- came to our door really quickly!

My stay at this hotel was my best so far. I’ve stayed at a few, but this one probably will be my go to. It has a restaurant right down stairs, they have happy hour daily. They have several restaurants in the area that are very good food options. A great pizzeria around the corner and a Wawa right next door.

We have a wonderful time in Ascend Quincy htl. The staff very kind, room clean. The kitchenette was well equipped , there was also the disherwash and the iron. There were tea, limoned, coffe in the lobby available all time. I suggest everyone to book Ascend Quincy hotel
