Lovely stay although no lift for my buggy so was inconvenient having to run up and down the stairs with twin babies and bags just to pack and unpack… really wanted staff to move me to the ground floor for more accessibility but they didn’t other than that very cosy room and lovely central area

The hotel is a quaint step back in time with beautifully decorated rooms, immaculately clean and very comfortable accomodation. Surprisingly quiet, given that the hotel is above a bar/restaurant. The hotel has a distinctively separate feel, making it both secure, comfortable and convenient. Attempted dinner in the restaurant but despite the server’s best attempts, all options selected on the menu were unavailable and drinks were forgotten. Ordering via the app proved less than satisfactory and resulted in inconvenient refunding etc.

We picked Spread Eagle based on reviews and because it was a short taxi ride to Wimbledon. The hotel was cute, and the decor gave the rooms a cool boutique hotel vibe. The hotel and restaurant staff were outstanding! They were always friendly and accommodating. There were a few minor issues with the the room/amenities that we didn't think were worth addressing given our short stay; plus, they didn't substantively detract from the overall excellent experience. This place is ideal if you want an updated, clean, nicely-sized room, with a cool vibe outside of central London. This was a brilliant looking property - wit the pub attached - we were attending a party near clapham junction - so was very conveniently situated. The rooms were a good size - really nice bathroom. I love the fact that its dog friendly and next time we will come with our dog. Staff were really friendly - it is worth including the breakfast its in the pub which is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts set up is great. We found it easy to walk up to the bus stop and catch a bus to Clapham junction and then everything was pretty easy to reach from there.

Absolutely adored this hotel! Beautiful decor, full clean each day, gorgeous toiletries. They had everything we needed: iron, kettle, tea selection, coffee machine, bottle of water. The bathroom was lovely, the shower pressure was good. The bed was really comfy, the room was spacious and there was good storage space too. A lovely dressing table to do makeup at too. Genuinely cannot fault this hotel at all and I have already recommended it to my family and friends! The food in the pub was lovely too!

This was a brilliant looking property - wit the pub attached - we were attending a party near clapham junction - so was very conveniently situated. The rooms were a good size - really nice bathroom. I love the fact that its dog friendly and next time we will come with our dog. Staff were really friendly - it is worth including the breakfast its in the pub which is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts set up is great. We found it easy to walk up to the bus stop and catch a bus to Clapham junction and then everything was pretty easy to reach from there.

Stayed 1 night in room 1, twin room on ground floor. All looked quite new, super clean with great facilities. Graham on front desk was friendly and very helpful with advice etc. jumped on the bus to Wimbledon-approx 10 mins. Great pad Thai restaurant in York Street? Near Wandsworth town rail station. Super place, would use again.

The hotel is a quaint step back in time with beautifully decorated rooms, immaculately clean and very comfortable accomodation. Surprisingly quiet, given that the hotel is above a bar/restaurant. The hotel has a distinctively separate feel, making it both secure, comfortable and convenient. Attempted dinner in the restaurant but despite the server’s best attempts, all options selected on the menu were unavailable and drinks were forgotten. Ordering via the app proved less than satisfactory and resulted in inconvenient refunding etc.

Absolutely adored this hotel! Beautiful decor, full clean each day, gorgeous toiletries. They had everything we needed: iron, kettle, tea selection, coffee machine, bottle of water. The bathroom was lovely, the shower pressure was good. The bed was really comfy, the room was spacious and there was good storage space too. A lovely dressing table to do makeup at too. Genuinely cannot fault this hotel at all and I have already recommended it to my family and friends! The food in the pub was lovely too!

We picked Spread Eagle based on reviews and because it was a short taxi ride to Wimbledon. The hotel was cute, and the decor gave the rooms a cool boutique hotel vibe. The hotel and restaurant staff were outstanding! They were always friendly and accommodating. There were a few minor issues with the the room/amenities that we didn't think were worth addressing given our short stay; plus, they didn't substantively detract from the overall excellent experience. This place is ideal if you want an updated, clean, nicely-sized room, with a cool vibe outside of central London. Definitely take advantage of the delicious breakfast or enjoy a pint with your fish and chips at the Spread Eagle Pub next door.

Most of the stay was great! Hence the 4 stars. Negatives were simply that the bed blanket was filthy (bed really comfy though). They dont provide decent coffee (pods ... nothing else). And cleaner banging on the door before check out deadline. Could be 5 stars but on this occasion wasnt
